Location was excellent. Train station was around corner and across the road. We had an early start so this was very convenient and suited our needs perfectly. Room was big and our balcony overlooked the main street which provided a great view of people going about their daily business. Even though the room faced a busy street, once the window and shutters were closed it was quiet inside. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was adequate. There is a lift but it is very small and not only suitable to send luggage up. There was a lounge with coffee machine which was nice if you wanted a bit of space to stretch out and relax outside of your room.

Shower did not drain well, we mentioned it to management and hopefully, it was fixed for the next occupants.

The location was perfect, right next to the train station so no dragging luggage around. The room was spotless, decorated in an antique fashion. The gentleman who I assume owns it has great taste in music and constantly had 80's 90's music on during the day, not loud though. Two supermarkets right downstairs, a perfect location to explore Florence!

We picked this place since it was so close to the train station - a very short walk. Also a short walk into the city. We stayed a couple nights. There were 8 of us so we had 4 rooms which was nice to have separate rooms and bathrooms. One couple really enjoyed their balcony and sitting out enjoying the day. Rooms were big and air conditioning worked fine. The breakfast was fine - we supplemented with additional food from the grocery store that was next door to the entrance of the B&B building. I would stay there again for the convenience of the location.

Old Florence Inn is a short walk from the train station. The B&B is on the second floor of the building, the entrance is at street level, ring the bell to be let in. Up a couple of steps to the right is a small lift saves you having to carry your bag up two flights of stairs. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We liked the hotel's traditional-style decor, our twin room (No 5) was large, had a good size wardrobe and a small round table with chairs. The room overlooked a side street, it was quiet, my bed was comfortable. A fridge and kettle is provided along with free use of small safe. A breakfast tray of breakfast items is provided. Yoghurts, fruit juice, butter, cheese are in the fridge, all were replenished daily, as necessary. We liked the yogurts, fruit juice and cake. In reception there is a microwave and good coffee machine for guests use. The old quarter with Il Duomo, the Efizzi Gallery and Ponto Vecchio Bridge are within easy walking, also close to the Market Central. The City Hop On, Hop Off bus stop is on the street is just a few yards to the right of entrance door. We had a lovely stay at this B&B and thought it was good value for money, can recommend.

I stayed at Old Florence for three nights last week. It was a very comfortable stay. Because the area surrounding had everything you needed, such as a busstop, a train station closeby, coffee bars, supermarkets. Also, there are some really good restaurants in the area to walk within 5 min. I was walking as a woman alone on this road at night time, without any fear. There are no dangerous people walking around or following you, which was for me very good. It's a very busy street, but because of the double glazing on the windows, the problem was fixed:)) Then the room was very clean. The accommodation has got also a small library, a sitting area and a chess playboard, to share with other hotel guests. A coffee machine was available as well for free. (With some really good coffee surprisingly). The hotel personnel were very kind. Florio helped me with the check-in procedure. I came here at 28th of Febraury, so the prices were really good. I paid for the room 290 euros. But I do not know what the situation will be in the summer. It was worth my money and time to spend my days here. Thank you very much!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in Florence, and I must say that my experience far surpassed that of a previous stay in a 4-star hotel in Rome. What impressed me most about this establishment was its welcoming atmosphere, simplicity, and impeccable cleanliness, creating a homely environment for guests. I particularly appreciated the presence of a lobby or lounge area, which offered a pleasant space to relax at any time while enjoying complimentary coffee and a charming view. Additionally, the hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, being less than a five-minute walk from the train station. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I will certainly choose to stay at this hotel if I return to Florence.

The B&B Old Florence Inn was truly wonderful. It's located so close to SMN station that it's only a couple of minutes walk. The place is lovely, the host is very friendly and welcoming, and the provided breakfast is ample. The place feels extremely safe, the room large and the amenities very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate booking this property again on our next visit to Florence, mainly because of it's amenities and it's extremely close proximity to SMN train station, light rail and buses.

The host was very accommodating and helped us with a smooth check-in as well as offering to hold our bags after checkout while we explored until our train ride. The blackout shades were amazing for a solid night’s sleep, and the location to downtown and incredible shopping and food was absolutely perfect.

It was somewhat challenging to find - Apple Maps took us to the wrong location, and it wasn’t clear that we had to climb to the 3rd floor of the building to find the B&B entry.

I liked a lot about this B&B place. First was the communication provided by Florio which I appreciated in coordinating pick up times for keys and working with our schedule (ended up coming within working hours), I also like he provided a walking map to the Inn which most don't do. More importantly he gave us a quick tour of the room and was kind, pleasant to my mother and her friends who are rather elderly. The breakfast is simple but acceptable and had clean cups, water jug, coffee, tea and a small snacks. The location is right by the terminal, hop on hop off service, and a 9 minute walk to the central sqaure! The bathroom was clean and had amenities. I would stay here again.

I would say that the elevator needs to be updated for this shared building or increased in size somehow. it's pretty inconvenient and conjested if a group comes in. I don't have any real complaints about the stay, staff, or otherwise.
