The location was very good, and the views from the large window in our room of the Medici Chapel, the facade of the Duomo, the Campanile, and the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio and from our side balcony of the side of Santa Maria Novello Church and bell tower were spectacular. The owner, although he doesn't live on the premises, was very helpful by phone to help us access our room because we had left the phone with all our access information on it on the airplane in Paris.

There were only minimal provisions available for breakfast, just packaged items, but it was only a room and not a hotel stay, so that may be normal for rented rooms.

I had a lovely view from my quiet room and the bed was very comfortable. I liked having a safe in the room for valuables, plus free snacks, an espresso maker and a fridge. The balcony was a nice bonus. The location was convenient to get to the main sights and transportation. Andrea was super helpful and friendly. He was always available by text when he was not at the property. He also made sure to be at the property when I needed help with printing boarding passes and ordering a taxi to the airport. I stayed for nine nights so got a good feel for the place. I felt like I had my own apartment in Florence, with my own personal concierge.

I liked everything.

The view of the Duomo and Giotto’s Bell Tower and the rest of Florence was absolutely magnificent from the 6th floor bedroom. We stayed in this two-story room for a magical week jn this gorgeous city. The elevator up to the fifth floor made it easy to get up so high. The spiral staircase up to 6th floor bedroom made it cool if you like spiral staircases. The manager and his parents were very responsive to any needs. They supplied coffee pods and treats whenever the room was cleaned.

The incredible view helps one deal with the fact that one has to go down the staircase to get to the bathroom and there is only one small, open closet for hanging clothes on that lower floor and no dressers for clothes on the bedroom floor. We had to carry our suitcases up the spiral staircase and then live out of them while we were there. I was just recovering from a knee injury, so I was glad I could manage staying in this novel place with the absolutely perfect view. In spite of some of this inconvenience, we would definitely stay again to enjoy Florence.

We enjoyed our stay, Andrea was super friendly and helpful, carried our bags up and down the stairs for us. The view of Florence skyline from our room was spectacular, so we decided not to change rooms despite the steep spiral staircase, although Andrea offered to switch us. His help with the bags made all the difference. He also provided us lots of info about the local area, and was a very gracious host. The lift made accessing the 5th floor location easy.

Navigating the spiral staircase was tricky every time we had to use the bathroom, which was on a separate floor from the bedroom.

This property was perfect for me! As a solo traveler, I cared about safety, location, and comfortability. This property went above and beyond my expectations. Location was just a block from the train station. The room had snacks and bottled water waiting. Andrea was wonderful! She made my stay exceptional! Seriously, she communicated to me previously with great information. I took her restaurant suggestions and had the most amazing meal. Also, her communications were always quick and she accommodated me very well. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the city. Will be back to this property/Florence again!

Great location with what must be the most amazing view in Florence. The room was on the small side, and slightly cold in March, but with everything we needed.

Some storage for clothes would have been a bonus.

Incredible views from the room. With a place to sit with your morning coffee or even sat up in bed. That’s why we booked this in the first place. Clean bedroom up a spiral staircase with bathroom as you enter the property. For us that was perfect as you have the privacy of using the toilet not right next to your other half! People moaning about that must be ones who aren’t able bodied. Great location only about 10 mins from Duomo down charming side streets. Communication with the owner was great. Check in was codes for building and safe lock.

Respons was fast and smooth for leave luggage before check out. The location is really close to the station. There is elevator but sometimes not working well. The room was clean. Even we didn’t get the balcony we still can see the cathedral view a bit. There is alot snacks and water provided. We were stay on early march, it was cold season but the room was warm and super comfortable!!!

There is problem with reservations paid with American Express. The room wasn’t charged so I need to transfer manually to the bank account. At first I was afraid for scam. Better confirm the payment at the checkin time.

The staff was really nice and accommodating. The hotel was walking distance to train station and city center, very convenient !

The conditions are exceptional, far beyond the price or our expectations! The view from terrace is breathtaking and the host was amazing! Helping us from the moment we booked the place and throughout our staying, being able even to book our museum entrances or sharing us roadtrips! This is by far the best experience ever until now and it sets up the bar really high for our next trips! Again, grazzie tanti!
