It is super clean, soft linnen, and the best location to move out in the morning, come back when it is too hot outside and then go again around 18h00 to explore Firenze and go for a late dinner. Currently it is only dark after 21h00 so you eat late. This is the second time I stayed here and will go back again. I preferred the New York room I stayed in before but the twin room was more affordable and perfect for what you need. The stairs was good exercise and nothing to complain about. I am not all that fit but I managed well. The breakfast was lovely, a special cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice, more than enough. When I mentioned that I loved the Pistachio croissants I had there before, they were so kind to save some for me every day, thank you to the kind people running N4Y.

There was nothing that I can think off.

An absolutely stunning building. Exceptionally clean, clean comfortable bed with crisp white cotton sheets and a beautiful bathroom. Raffaele contacted me well in advance to give check in instructions and was there to greet us on arrival. A very lovely, helpful man. A very nice breakfast, continental, help yourself, assisted by a helpful lady serving coffee and tea

Due to the age and construction of the building, there isn’t a lift, so we had to carry our heavy bags up 5 flights of stairs on a very hot day. If we return again, we will pack lighter. Whilst it is lovely, it is not suitable or accessible for the elderly or disabled

All the staff are very friendly and professional, the housekeeper and the cleaner are both very nice and always trying to help. The breakfast was delicious and the room was beautiful and clean. The location is also superb, in the middle of everywhere. Good view from the window.

The check-in machine malfunction occurred when we arrived but the host was very responsive and did his best to solve it. You need to climb a bit of the stairs to reach the hotel indeed but it’s worth it to live in an ancient building and good hotel like this.

Old and Rustic… clean and tidy. Great location to all the sites. Basic breakfast but sufficient.

The 77 steps up!! Not fun with heavy luggage. Not for people with heart or respiratory issues. Most of Florence is stair climbing so be warned!! We stayed in the Suite. It was clean and tidy. We had to use the air-con to heat it as there were no radiators. Not great when we returned back cold from our adventures, as the temperature dropped (expected for Nov) 🥶 Tea and coffee facilities provided but no milk? Not sure if this is standard for Florence? Convenience store very local (2-3 min walk) so purchased milk there.

Great location, can be noisy at night but what do you expect in the middle of Florence! Two or three flights of stairs to the room, which didn't bother us, but be mindful when booking. Good variety of food at breakfast, very welcoming staff and easily contactable when required. The room had plenty of space for the two of us, cleaned every day of our stay, so overall great value for money.

A couple of improvements for the room were the number of plug sockets accessible and the storage space for clothes, other than that no issues at all.

Location is amazing! Close to all the important and interesting sites in Florence in a short walking distance. Room was clean, staff were friendly and organized. The bed was comfortable, the place was secure.

No elevator so be ready to climb up the stairs with your luggage. Also, there was a bad oily smell that came up from the hardwood floor painting. We asked the manager about it right when we arrived but he said it is what it is and he couldn’t help with a fan or ventilation.

In the heart of bustling Florence, this spot was right in the middle of all the action. We stayed in the Paris suite on our trip. The property was safe and staff was friendly and attentive. Despite being on a busy street, the multiple windows and shutters make the room essentially soundproof to the outside. The included breakfast was convenient as well. Would certainly recommend.

The property is up a fair amount of steps, which can be pretty daunting with luggage

The location can’t be beat as it’s right around the corner to the Duomo Complex. The breakfast was excellent. We wish we could have enjoyed it both days, but we had to leave town too early for the 8am breakfast time on the last day of our stay. The inkeeper’s responded to inquires efficiently via WhatsApp. The breakfast lady/housekeeper was friendly, though we wish there had been less of a communication barrier.

The hotel is on the third floor of a 13th century building without an elevator. So if carrying your own suitcases up and down the tiring flights of stairs is not your thing, this hotel is not really for you.

Breakfast was included and was nice, simple breakfast but was good quality. The location of the property was amazing, super close walk to the Duomo and not far from anything. I really enjoyed the decor at the property and I thought it was an amazing stay. I went solo, however, it is a quiet place so I would recommend to other solo travellers and couples.

Lots of stairs to get up to the property and no elevator, being a solo female with a 30kg suitcase made this quite hard. I would not say that this is a reason to not go. The pros definitely outweigh the cons!

My husband and two teenage children stayed here for three nights at the start of holiday. We arrived after 6pm but were able to make use of the automatic late check in facility. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast - my daughter is coeliac and they gave her a small selection of individually wrapped bread, cakes / biscuits each morning. The hotel was brilliantly located for the Duomo and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Breakfast was fairly basic, although understandable as this is a small hotel.
