Superb location bang in the centre,Luisa sent us detailed instructions for check in before our arrival and when we checked in gave us some great recommendations and a map which was a nice touch. Our room #5 was perfect very clean . Two options for breakfast and both were perfect. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this accommodation to friends or family.

Nothing that the accommodation can control but to let you know the floor is a bit creaky so depending on other guests arrivals and of course the bells ( but we were always up early so that wasn't a problem for us...actually a beautiful alarm clock) . The streets were meticulously cleaned and obviously some street cleaners throughout the quieter hours but considering how popular the area is you expect that !!! DO NOT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF!!! live with this as its all worth it for all the positive reasons of the accommodation.

Perfect location. Lovely room that was cleaned everyday. It had everything you needed plus more. Welcoming and friendly staff that always made sure you had everything you needed. Really easy to contact Luisa if I needed to ask anything. Loved that you can fill up your water bottle with fresh water at reception. I couldn’t recommend this b&b more and I’ve already booked to go back again later this year.

Everything was perfect. Only small thing was sometimes a little noisy at night but I think it was mainly because I didn’t shut my window properly!

This has been the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in so far, with a truly breathtaking view. Everything was perfect – from the cleanliness to the comfort, every single detail in the room was thoughtfully prepared, which made us feel very special. We would also like to sincerely thank Ms. Lucia, not only for her warm attention and care, but also for her wonderful recommendations about places to visit and restaurants to try. From now on, for us and all of our friends, our address in Florence is clear!

Fabulous location, just across from the Duomo. We had a view through our window. Walkable to train station and attractions. Very friendly and helpful host, with excellent suggestions for things to see and places to eat. Room was pretty and well equipped. Breakfast at two local cafes was delicious.

The only gripe we had was that there was a working lift but the guesthouse couldn’t use it (it’s for “private use”). We had no problem walking up and down normally but it would have been nice to be able to use it for luggage when we arrived and departed.

Location was super couldnt get better I am sure Communication via Whats app with the owner was clear and comprehensive - easy to understand & follow. Sylvia on reception was a gem - so helpful not just pointing out the obvious when it came of places to visit ie. height of the season but knowledgeable about the pitfalls to avoid. Art student what more could you ask for. Room only -single bed very clean room & good sized mirror provided next to exit door bathroom also of course had a mirror but good to be able to have last minute check before going out. It was a last minute booking & the only room remaining was small with one window but adequate for my needs Quiet interanlly but it is on the route to the local hospital & sirens were frequent maybe due to the number of tourists and the very high temperatues. The church bells of course rang often but that added to the colour of Florence. I did get opportunity to look at other rooms which had been vacated & would be happy to book into any of those rooms offering more space & windows. Already recommended this as place for visit in September.

No fault of the owner but there was a AC problem & compensation was offered - not had confirmation of this yet from Booking.com Updates regarding hours AC was working etc. was recvd. & I was kept in the picture. Fan in the room used for nightime hours.

The location of this property is fantastic. From the balcony of our room we looked over the area around the Duomo and could see it transform from morning to afternoon to evening. The rooms are stylish with lots of small touches which make it special. Luisa was a super host, friendly, helpful and informative. You receive coupons for breakfast in two nearby cafes and it was delicious and plentiful.

When we arrived the air-con was not working. Luisa attended to it promptly and it was working by the second day of our stay but it really wasn’t powerful enough to cope with the weather which was at 38 degrees. There is no lift to the property - the details make that clear but it’s quite a haul when you arrive with your bags.

The location is phenomenal, and the rooms are cozy. It may seem a daunting task to drive your car all the way into town and unload it in front of this property (literally just a stone's throw from the Duomo), but it can be done, and the dudes at the newsstand (across the street and right at the entrance to the piazza) won't give you a hard time if you temporarily park next to their stand with your hazards on. Just ask VERY politely and finish unloading within 5 minutes. And there are days that parking is not restricted and that you can park directly across the street from the property for free (or anywhere you can find an open space on the street or nearby). If you do get cited, it's a $30 fine. Parking overnight in one of the public lots can cost that much.

No lift (elevator), which sucks if you've got a lot of bags. No bidet in the bathroom, and the room is very drafty in the wintertime. Also, the lobby is only attended from 9AM to noon.

Excellent location and get a ticket in the morning for breakfast at one of two cafes - coffee, orange juice, croissant and a sandwich (which I would pass on - the opera one is pretty good though). I like I could check in early and was able to leave my bags the last day as I did a little more sight seeing.

The reception area not having a bathroom so when you come to retrieve your bags there is nowhere for that last minute….before you get on a tram, taxi, walk with your bags. It can be loud but didn’t affect me. BE WARNED THIS IS AN OLD BUILDING AND THE OWNER OF THE LIFT WILL NOT SHARE WITH ANY OTHER RESIDENTS - so it is a locked lift. LOTS of STAIRS (not that bad - but if you have stair issues - well then really you won’t like Italy. It is all stairs all the time).

We did love the location, the cuteness of the room and especially Luisa, the host of the facility. She is the nicest person and her English is excellent. We were served with anything asked, even if was extra, I.e. iron. The location of the facility is the best possible.

The breakfast at “Florere”, very rude staff, poor breakfast. In case you’re staying at the facility, use the other option for breakfast (Museo D’uomo), was wonderful.

We have stayed here before and we always have it book marked for our future stays in Florence. The B&B is just lovely the staff is fantastic and the rooms are amazing, we book out the room with the balcony every time becuase it's completely worth it!!! Comfortable beds, spacious room, great lighting in the bathroom and just an overall amazing place! Great friendly staff that recommended some hidden gems in Florence and walking distance to just about everything!

The elevator was down when we arrived but they reached out before hand to let us know and it was only out of order for a day or two they sorted it out very quickly. This was not even a major issue but I can't think of anything I didn't like about the stay!!
