The location was amazing. In front of a beautiful and quiet piazza (that gets busy with young people at night but didn’t bother at all, you could ent heard anything from inside) It was easy to get directly by car or taxi from the airport and next to the best street to take a first look at the duomo. The hotel it self was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, even with gluten free and vegan options. The staff was super attentive and nice to. We had to book and extra night and change rooms. They moved all our bags and where super helpful during the booking process online.

Nothing important!! but being really picky, our first bedroom (we had to change one night because of a change of plans) didn’t have proper curtains and the light would come in really early which wasn’t good for our jet lag :)

Loved, loved, loved this hotel. We have been travelling around Europe for the past 4.5 weeks & this hotel wins hands down. Amazing!!!!!! All staff were polite, helpful, friendly. Breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Florence. Will definitely stay here on our next trip.

If I had to find one thing it would be the shower over the bath and the glass screen allowed water to spray onto the floor. We always used our towels to remove the excess water afterwards. But that is it.

Superb location, walking distance of 10-20 min to all the main bits, Duomo 5 min away. Staff was lovely and communicative. Cleaner was on point! Charming place with great authentic vibe.

Breakfast was okay but I guess I'd expect food of better quality and more experimentation in the kitchen. Also there were vegan cakes but no vegan savory options. Luckily I'm only vegeterian so I could have eggs. TV in the room was not connected to the internet, for some reason that service is blocked, so you can only get aerial. Also would appreciate tips for local restaurants or trips - altough we have not asked.

Great location, perfect parking service. the room have lots of period features, good breakfast in a tiny cute terrace. Lovely crisp sheets. Great service all in all - porter, car valet.

The room has lots of period features but could certainly do with some updating - bathtub, rug. Furniture I understand is to keep within the period style, but it is not renovated, worn. Lighting could be better in the room as not a lot of sun comes through in our room specifically and the lack of proper artificial lighting makes the room a little bit dark.

We LOVE this hotel. The staff was attentive and courteous. The details were well thought out and historically very interesting. We loved the coffee maker, welcome bottle of wine and the little snacks. The towels and linens were soft. The location was excellent. (One day we had the windows open and could hear a woman singing opera as well as a piano lesson taking place in the neighborhood. We felt so blessed to be a part of that moment. )

The sofas in our suite were a bit uncomfortable and yet so stylish.

Breakfasts were great! Served in nice breakfast room. Antonio at the desk was extremely helpful making restaurant reservations for us. The hotel is located in a beautiful renaissance square very close to several major sites, especially the Accademia, San Marco museum, and the Duomo. The square can be noisy at night, but if you keep the windows closed that will block out the noise. We had a superior room, and the décor was really lovely. Well appointed bathrooms, great showers with plenty of hot water and water pressure. A nice touch are the toiletries from the nearby Farmacia SS Annunziata.

An outstanding location just around the corner from Il Duomo. The hotel was beautifully presented in a more traditional style. The room and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard every day. Issues were quickly rectified (our air conditioner wouldn’t work on the first day and this was sorted immediately). You can get free freshly made coffee from the bar each morning. All the staff were very friendly and professional.

Our bathroom was a bit narrow to move about in. The lift was tiny which might be worth considering if you have mobility issues.

The rooms at Loggiato dei Serviti are set in a very old building and are really romantic looking. The included breakfast offered more than enough for a good start into your day. It‘s very close to the Duomo (and super close to Michelangelos David!!) so it‘s easy to navigate around Florence while staying there. The staff was also super helpful when I wanted to do a day trip to a vineyard (Marchesi Antinori, really recommend that one if you‘re into modern architecture).

I‘m a single traveller and usually single rooms are normal double bed rooms but booked for one person only. However, this place offered an actual single bed (100cm) which is kind of what you‘d expect but I‘m used to sleeping in a big bed.

Perfect location near the cathedral, very central. the neighborhood is alive, filled with various restaurants and bars, supermarkets, etc... The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I stayed in the Annex, and although the room is relatively comfortable, yet it needs restoration. I liked the old vibe architecture and decor, yet the hardwood flooring was loose and needs to be fixed, and the shower was difficult to set the right temperature. otherwise everything was fine.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making our stay feel truly special. The location is perfect – right in the center, within walking distance of major attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh local options and great coffee. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
