Amazing Balcony and view and didn’t see even one other balcony in the area, which was PERFECT and looked directly down on the equestrian Ferdinand I of Medici statue and two beautiful fountains. It seems to be an area where many locals spend time and socialize. One night they even had a band out there, and I just sat on the balcony and watched. So fun! Many couples were out doing their wedding shots, and there was even a photo shoot just below the balcony. I found it very difficult not to throw little bread pieces down and gather the pigeons around the them. 4 minutes to the Michelangelo museum (The David), 2 minute walk to de Vinci interactive museum (where I played with EVERYTHING; I went from 48 years old to 8 upon entry). So many other museums, basilica, restaurants, shops, and grocery store are all 3 to 6 minute stroll. There is also a little bar/coffee/sandwich shop in the square. It was so nice to just pop down and grab a something and come back up and eat it on the balcony.

Not one thing.

The location, on the Piazza della Santissima Annunziate (sp?) was perfect for my needs, and simply a great location, in walking distance to all the attractions and to where I needed to be everyday. The room is in an apartment of 3 rooms in total (I think) and was super spacious, with really high ceilings, abd equipped with a useful little fridge, a desk and a tv, and a dinning table with extra chairs. The bathroom was also spacious, offering all you might need: Shower, toilet, bidet, sink, hair dryer, shampoo, towels, and stuff! The room also had a little balcony, with view on the Plaza. The kitchen in the apartment has seating (bar-style) and is equipped with a dishwasher and a little cappuccino machine (pods) you can use. Staff (Rosa) was super friendly and helpful. Note: With people hanging on the Plaza it might be noisy for some, but for me, it was a non issue, and normally the people would disperse, around 10 PM (?) so nothing prevented me to get sound sleep. Suggestion for the property: Room is so big, I think a little couch or a pair of lounging chairs, with a lamp, would be a great addition, for lounging out of bed.

Amazing location (but if you prefer quiet nights - this location is not for you. Every night there is a party under the balcony. But if you like it, you will be right in tue center of a party:). Very close to all historical locations. Big room. Really high floors. Feels like medieval movie. Landlord Rosa is very nice lady who helped to get in and always was in touch. Thanks a lot

I would change the air conditioner for more strong model. Feels like the room is too big for it.

The location was very accessible and our host made sure that we were well received. She was extremely sweet and reached out to us whenever we needed her help. Unlike alot of comments, we had absolutely no issues with the place being loud. In fact it was a quiet night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The stairs are too steep and the sensory lights gave me the scare from time to time!

Exceptional place to stay in, designed by Brunelleschi himself, with a view on a charming sculptor's workshop, which will make your stay even more Renaissance Art-like. In addition to that, service was absolutely impeccable. Whenever we would ask Rosa anything, she would happily help us (for instance: anti-mosquito device). I have rarely been as satisfied with a place I rent, and, whenever I come back to Florence, I hope I will have the chance to stay over in the same apartment once again. Grazie mille.

Fantastic location in old room, very beautiful. Fridge and air conditioning available was a big plus. Balcony over the piazza was lovely.

Beautiful location, but noisy. Old houses have less sound proofing, but this is a busy part of the city, so expect some noise at night. Toilet paper was not restocked.

The hotel has many facilities nearby: laundry, grocery stores, restaurants and many historical sites. We easily walked from the hotel to all the tourist sites in Florence and the train station. The room has a small private kitchen and it also has access to a well equipped shared kitchen. The private bathroom is on an upper level which makes it fun and curious. The hostess Rosa was always very kind, cheerful and patient, immediately answering our questions at the hotel in person or by phone when we were out for a walk in the city.

It was very cold on Easter even though the heating was on, but with a thick blanket we were able to sleep warm. Since you have to go up to the bathroom by stairs, a person with physical limitations could not use that room

A fantastic location and the owners are very kind. I had no trouble with check-in and check-out. My room was facing the inner courtyard, so there was no noise pollution and I slept very well.

It would be nice to have some water left in the room for the guests.

The location, the cleanliness, the host and the view from the balcony

The piazza santissima annunziata can be loud in the evening/ night due to the amount of people hanging out there, but it’s very tolerable

Rosa was such a wonderful and kind host. She was able to store our luggage since we were early for check in, which we were grateful. The room was huge and clean with a balcony overlooking the plaza . An added perk was the room had a mini fridge and access to coffee and tea. The location was great, easy walk to the Duomo. We would love to stay here again

nothing but there are a set of stair, we didn’t mind but if you have difficulty there is no elevator
