The room was really well appointed and a good size. I was travelling with a couple and the for me the sofa bed was comfortable and there was enough room for all of us. The kitchenette was great. I love the sparkling water downstairs that was always available. The pool area was great - although much better when all the children had left as the room is loud. The views from the roof top are fabulous

I was disappointed that we the cost to use the roof top spa was so expensive, For us this was not an option at the price that was being charged.

Exceptional value for money, excellent air conditioning in the room once we had tweaked the settings with reception. The rooms were cleaned every day and new towels given. The pool downstairs is decent for a building of this size. Excellent location for Florence centre. There is a bus stop literally across the road which takes you directly to town. A great place to stay without the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Staff were amazing

The sauna could do with an update but its OK

Rooftop jacuzzi cost more but it was a fabulous experience. Spa was decent but you had to book 1hr per day slot. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the fact you could get ice and cold water at the spa floor. The blackout curtains were great.

Taxis they were quoting was far more than they should had been. Get the staff to call a local firm on your behalf. They didn't wash or replace the cups in rooms every day. The air con was very good but couldn't be altered. Beware that the hotel is a walk to attractions but only 20-25 minutes. You had to go to the spa floor to use and iron and ironing board. There was no kettles in the room. There were also no pots despite it having a kitchenette (hob). Sheets on the bed too thin especially with air con stuck on full blast.

Excellent stay for my daughters birthday. Short walk into the city centre, but far away enough to get a good nights sleep. Spa facilities were amazing and very clean. Staff always helpful and friendly, even communicating before my arrival. Breakfast has a great choice, catering for everyone and the lady serving breakfast was always very friendly and attentive. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. The views from the rooftop were amazing, and the private jacuzzi session on the rooftop was a perfect way to end our trip. Would recommend and return!

Everything was in great condition and very clean, loved the modern interior and our room was very spacious. The welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch! Enjoyed the spa (inclusive) also

Only thing I would suggest is extending the outdoor gym opening hours or making a separate indoor gym also.. the outdoor gym is a cool idea but not always practical I feel.. by 8am (when the gym opens) the sun was hitting me at full force and I was covered with sweat by just standing there. Great views from the rooftop though!

Kitchen, dishwasher and microwave in the room. Plus supermarket 2 blocks away, and close restaurants nearby. Drinkable water fountain in the hotel, oranges at the entrance, coffee capsules available. Very nice view from the terraces. Comfortable shower.

High table in the room, with high chairs, actually not comfortable for eating. Pool opening time closed too soon for children. Nice for adults, but I could not go with my son after a whole day of visiting Florence.

The roof top terraces make this small boutique hotel shine. Stayed here a year ago and it was the main reason I returned. View of sunset behind Il Duomo is breathtaking. Even at night, it's wonderful because the Il Duomo is well-lit. You sit with a glass of wine to toast Il Duomo, Firenze and yourself for really being here Also big windows that open onto a garden courtyard, so very quiet, with comfy bed and pillows. And a small kitchenette for making coffee or eating in. Bonus, while hotel does not have a bar, the desk sells wine and beer. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. It is just on the edge of the oldest part of Firenze, close to Santa Croce, so many things are easily walkable. But, even better, it's at the beginning of a lived-in neighborhood. So less tourists and more locals out and about.

Smell of chlorine throughout hotel. Hotel should consider switching to bromide (or better salt water) for less smell. Tried pool once - way too hot for me.

The bedding was so comfortable thanks! Also loved the pool. The hotel was also close to the museums, about 15 to 20 minutes. The view was incredible. The staff overall was great and grateful for Anna’s kindness at breakfast.

Shame about the electricity cuts, that was unfortunate. If I had to be ultra picky I would also say that the area isn’t the most romantic in Florence, but it’s quiet and safe with all the shops around if that’s what you are looking for.

we were positively surprised by the apartments and facilities. the room was big enough and kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. location is a bit off center but we enjoyed not being in the crowds at the end of the day. it is only 15 minutes from the Dome. breakfast was very good and if you get there early you might get a spot on the small terrace. the rooftop was perfect, we brought our wine and snacks and it was great to have that option instead of finding rooftops around town for sunsets.

we were a bit surprised that it offered parking and pool on booking but when we got there everything was payable. you have access to the pool only for an hour and it is indoor and very small. for the parking we had to pay 25 euros per day which was very high considering we are staying in and the parking was on the premises.

We enjoyed our stay at Forte16 View & SPA - the staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was very nice, spacious and clean. We got very good sleep in the big and comfortable bed. We also had a little kitchenette with all essentials. After walking around the town for a whole day, the spa with pool, sauna and steam room felt so relaxing. However, we didn't have time for any of the treatments. The location of the hotel is good, only a short walk to the city centre and there are lots of nice restaurants close by. The views from the rooftop terrace are wonderful! We also really appreciated that our dogs were welcome, and that the hotel offers secure parking.
