The room was modern, clean and had great features including our balcony with a fantastic view of the Duomo over the rooftops. The room had mobile device charging points next to the bed - a huge plus for us and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is a 1.5 km / 20 minute walk to the Duomo and Ponte Vechio. However, the number 14 bus which stops just round the corner will take you there too for less than €1. The 14 bus opposite SMN will also take you to the hotel too.

Local laws dictate the room can’t be cooled below 27c until the 17th May. Unfortunately our room was 32c the first night because we were on the top floor. The hotel provided a fan which made all the difference. The fan didn’t interrupt our sleep.

The room was lovely and spacious - the bed was very comfortable. Location was good if you don’t mind a little walk (15 minutes) into the centre along the river - just bear this in mind if you are booking in peak summer or aren’t much of a walker. The hotel is very eco-friendly, lots of stickers to remind you to turn off the water etc. breakfast was fantastic - lots of options and a very spacious seating area.

The air-conditioning wasn’t very cold compared to other hotels we stayed in on our trip - the room never felt cool and we traveled peak summer so could have done with the relief after walking in the hot sun all day.

We loved our room, beautiful view over Florence from our balcony. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable. Place was clean. Easy to get from train station - 1 bus only.

Water leaked through the balcony when we had a stormy afternoon, contacted the staff for some more towels which they did bring promptly. The cleaner took some papers off the desk and threw them out, they had no English/italian (spoke French) so was difficult to ask about this. We did manage to locate the items in 2 separate trash bags and were told they were in our rubbish bin - which we can assure you there were not. And if they were, why were they emptied in 2 separate bags? Mistakes happen but an apology would have been nice.

The view was spectacular from the fifth floor. The reciptionists were friendly and helpful, and easily reachable 24 hours. Very nice and spacious reception with ice-making machine. The room was so clean and comfy, with a safe and mini fridge as well.

We enjoyed our stay so much, but if there's a comment, will be that the Air conditioning was difficult to control. It will be easier if you place an easier HMI or a picture with a manual with what do the signs mean (+2, +4, +6, ..)

The location was just perfect. It was busy and bustling and lively in that area, but completely tranquil up high in the hotel. That staff was wonderful. So kind and helpful!

It was a smidge hard to find the address. Read the instructions carefully or contact the property. As you reach the address there is a different hotel, but there is a small sign for this one. Go in and take the elevator. I’m just not used to hotels stacked like that so I was very confused!

Very clean, comfortable bed, very good breakfast with good price (€ 9.50/person) and you can pay for it per day of use and it has a lift. If you go by car, there are a lot of parking slots in the street (blue lines) where you pay per hour from 8AM to 8PM, and it doesn’t charge on Sundays. It’s a little bit far from where things happen in Firenze (~1.2 from touristic places), but it has a nice location, it is a safe region and you can do everything by foot. Our room has a view to the piazza Michelangelo and we could hear the party in the end of the days (we were in Florence during the weekend) and see the fireworks from our window.

Nothing to complain about

The location is perfect, very close to Santa Croce and walking distance to all the most important amenities of the city. The terrace was worth the extra price (the view is amazing!). I loved the smart solutions offered by the hotel to all kind of needs from a ready-to-drink cocktail to buying toothpaste. Great breakfast.

The parking at 25€ per day is closed on Sundays and we ended up paying 48€ (2 per hour) at the garage across the road from the hotel.

The cleanliness of the room. The bathroom. The view of the hills from the window. The size and quality of the mini fridge. Optional breakfast. How friendly and helpful the staff were.

The firmness of the mattress was definitely on the harder side. I appreciate it is a personal preference, but a medium mattress would have been great. The bathroom configuration was somewhat cramped for getting into the shower.

Christian at the lobby was great and really brightened my day! The room was spacious and comfortable, and had a huge balcony with an amazing view. The AC worked wonders, and I also appreciated the ecological reminders around the room.

The bathroom smelled a little bit. Also the room wasn't very soundproof, and I could hear people talking often. The TV screensharing was a little difficult to set up, but it's great that it was even an option!

The location is great for getting into the city. The room overall was clean, the balcony and the view amazing.

The whole atmosphere was hectic and loud. I did't really feel comfortable as I did in the next hostel. But since I just stayed there for one night because the other accomondation I booked didn't have a room when I decides to travel a day early, it was good enough.
