Breakfast, most of the choices are homemade and good quality produce and a vast selection to choose from. All of the staff I encountered were polite, helpful and informative. The hotel is clean and tidy. Our room overlooked the waterfall on the river Arno. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the view in the evening sun, whilst sipping a beer is very pleasant.

something to bear in mind is the actual distance the hotel is to the centre of Florence. It is a 15 euro ride in a taxi or a good 25/30 minute walk. We had a hire car and the charge per day that the hotel charges for parking is 35 euros. The car is housed somewhere away from the hotel and a 1 hour notice period is required by the hotel for collection and drop off.

Breakfast is wonderful! The room and bathroom is small for a 5-star hotel, but it is quiet. The location is next to the river, if your room is facing the river, the view must be very good, but unfortunately I didn't get it.

The hotel location is too far from the center, every day we have to take taxi in and out, and the road to the hotel is typically jammed, so be ready to walk a lot or take taxi a lot. Also there is no shops and restaurant in the surrounding area, we always have to take a taxi to get food or get around.

The hotel was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small, but overall our experience of the hotel was extremely good.

The room was a little small and we looked out on to the side of the building without a view. We booked a superior room, so would have expected a view.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Directly across the river from Piazzale Michelangelo, a short walk to Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi and Basillica di Santa Croce. Everything else was within a 10, 15 to 20 minute walk. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and great coffee. Room was very clean, comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a great shower, ample wardrobe and drawers. The room had a fantastic coffee machine and tea making facilities as well as a mini bar. We were also welcomed with complimentary sweet treats. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything. We didn't have any issues during our stay. This was the 2nd leg & hotel on our trip, from Rome & then to here, LHP Hotel River & Spa. The lady on reception, (whose name escapes me), was very professional, informative, friendly & very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them to accommodate our needs. I accommodated two rooms suite for my partner & myself. The restaurant is furnished beautifully & very comfortable. The hotel is sited across the road from the river Arno which runs through the centre of Florence. The hotel is situated approximately 10-15 casual walk into the centre of Florence, where all the attractions, restaurants, gelato parlours etc, are situated. I would have scored this hotel 11/12 out of 10 if it were possible & would recommend if you want genuinely lovely welcoming people that make your stay as comfortable as possible, then this is the LHP Hotel River & Spa hotel is for you. This was a nice hotel overall. It’s a bit expensive for the size of the room and the available amenities, but the experience was still enjoyable. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The real highlight was the amazing breakfast buffet. We usually skip hotel breakfasts since they’re often pretty basic, but this one completely surprised us. We went down just for a muffin and juice and ended up staying for the full spread. The service was excellent — attentive staff, mimosas flowing, and great coffee options like cappuccinos, flat whites, and macchiatos, plus every juice you could imagine. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was cute, modern, and up to date.

It was pretty expensive considering the rooms were so small.

The staff are all welcoming & very accommodating with local recommendations. They all take great interest in what we saw & did.

On arrival, we were informed that our room had been upgraded. On entering our room, we were blown away! The suite was huge, had both an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a separate lounge area, a four poster bed and an outside terrace area with one of the best views I have ever seen, overlooking the river Arno. We were so pleased with our room that we did not want to leave it and therefore ordered room service, which was also great. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

The water in the outside jacuzzi did smell a bit, which made us think it may not have been treated/changed as often as it should have. There were also quite a few wasps hovering around the outside terrace, which led us to believe there may have been a wasps nest nearby, so just be aware of this as my wife was not able to sit outside for extended periods of time.

it was beautiful- both Modern and culturally distinct. The outside patio, bar and restaurant were absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast bar was not only a piece of art to view but everything was so delicious. We enjoyed th food, the service, and the atmosphere so much we ate dinner twice on the patio- and s special shout out to the chef who made the fantastic sautéed spinach- highly recommend! We also used the spa, and it was really peaceful and relaxing as well. Definitely coming back here- really a lovely place. Oh- staff was incredible, and extraordinarily kind and helpful!
