The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is one big apartment in a traditional florentine building. The breakfast room was very pretty. The bedroom was comfy, spacious and well soundproofed. The breakfast was good. The location was great.

There are a few steps to access the hotel's floor, so be aware if you have heavy suitcases.

The location was excellent with bars and restaurants nearby and only a kilometre or so from all the old city sights. The staff were wonderful and were so helpful at all times. Breakfast was plentiful and allowed a good choice of options.

We had two rooms. One had all the facilities described by the hotel and was clean and comfortable. The other room had a faulty air conditioning unit, no safety deposit box and no storage space for clothes which was a disappointment as we had booked two rooms with identical specifications.

LOVED this unique hotel, which is walking distance to many sites. It was so comfortable in our family room (3 beds). There was a high ceiling (painted with a lovely fresco), and views of city life. Conveniently located, near Santa Croce and many restaurants and shops in all directions. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and included many gluten free options. Julia at the desk was an angel and helped so much when I fell ill on our trip. Thank you, Julia!

It took us a night to learn that we should close our windows and turn on the AC to block out the street noise. Our room was facing the intersection, so it was busy!

The hotel room is extremely spacious and a beautiful sight when you looked up at the ceiling. the room is very clean and the location is fantastic, there is a perfect cafe on the corner near the hotel where we went for coffee and a pastry every morning. It is walking distance to attractions and we really enjoyed going out for dinner then walking past the Duomo in the evening for a gelato.

The only thing we wished they had were fluffier pillows :)

The staff is AMAZING! The day I got there, was day to get used to everything. But after that, it literally was so comfortable. It’s a cross between a hotel and an Arnb. breakfast is included. The one thing I would say is that if you book here, it is a little different when you get there. When you get there, you ring the doorbell, and there is absolutely no reception area. There are 4 to 5 stairs that you have to take up and then go in an elevator to the first floor. That’s where the actual hotel is. But there is no elevator for that first 4 to 5 steps. And remember that this is Florence and everything is really old. so if you are older or you need assistance, that is an issue here. But that is true of entire Florence. I think when I was there, I saw one person in a wheelchair and a couple people using a cane. It is a walkable city. The streets are very narrow. Pathways are very narrow. Hotel is in a great location. everything you want is between 15 minutes to 30 minute walk. The hotel room itself was beautiful. It is basically an old building renovating into a hotel . I believe it was six rooms. The staff is amazing. The experience was great . I would highly recommend it.

Room was spacious and clean. Comfy large bed. Bathroom facilities were modern and clean. Although we didn’t eat at the hotel the food smelt amazing at breakfast time. Hotel staff were all friendly and super helpful. Ensured we had everything we needed and on hand for advice. Location of the hotel was perfect to see the sights, lots of which were in walking distance or via the local buses. In addition we were able to leave our luggage after check out until we were ready to leave Florence.

Nice size room, with good quiet air con to keep you cool in the heat.

Issue on first night with lights not working, was out of hours so the emergency number to alot of attempts to get through which was frustrating but once through the issue got swiftly resolved. It was known issue with the fuse box which in hindsight we should of been told about at the start of the stay as we could quickly sort ourselves if known.

Location is great for visiting the main tourist attractions with plenty of good eateries close-by. The hotel is just one floor in a very old building which is a stone-throw from Michaelangelo's own house which you can visit. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We were given tips on which restaurants to try which we did. The room was big enough with plenty of space and re-freshed daily which doesn't always happen nowadays. The bed was huge and soooo comfortable. A really nice place to stay.

Very clean and spacious. The shower was big and after being in Rome, Florence and Venice finally we were able to take a nice shower.

Giulia was amazing, she couldn't do enough for us. Amazing check in, some fabulous recommendations for restaurants. Great location. The room was gorgeous and the shower was lovely. I will definitely be returning and will recommend to everyone. Giulia needs a payrise, best employee for the hotel they could wish for. I will be hopefully keeping in touch with her.
