The location was close to the main tourist areas but still around locals. Lots of restaurant options and a lovely piazza nearby for relaxing. Property was safe. Great view of the neighborhood from the 4th floor. Appreciated the tea provided and access to the refrigerator. Bed was comfy and AC was great after a long day out. Size of the room was perfect. We were greeted by the host initially, and he did a good job explaining how to access the room. Very pleasant. There is a bus stop outside for transport around the city

It had a balcony that we couldn’t seem to access but we didn’t mind that. Cleanliness can be improved. Lots of noise from the bar across the street until around 2am but I was able to sleep through it occasionally

In the middle of all the things we want to visit. Walking distance. Comfortable and clean. Windows to the street, a lot of light. Good room size and plenty space for our things. Quiet, we could rest after our busy days. They offer tea for free in the room.

I would love to have shampoo in the bathroom. I have soap but not shampoo.

Attention Please! I have nothing but praise for this place; everything was perfect from the moment we stepped into the accommodation. The guy who attended us was very fun and attentive, we loved him. The room was clean and organized, the hotel's location is on a street very close to many good things in Florence, 5 minutes walking distance from the Uffizi Gallery, there's very tasty pizza on the street, and we had no problems with street noise during our stay. The shower was good, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was cozy. I recommend everyone to give this place a chance.

Nothing to complain about

The Location was amazing !! surrounded by loads of eateries and bars the area has a very cool vibe and comes alive at night very central and close to all the beautiful attractions florence has to offer . The host was very friendly and helpful , The room was ok and the bed was super comfortable with good facilities we would definitely recommend staying at A Teatro .

We did get attacked by mosquitoes so perhaps a screen on the window might be a good idea .

Great location, spacious room, absolutely stunning balcony and view. Host was very nice and helpful. Place felt safe and cosy.

The reception was right outside my room, making me feel a little checked up on everytime I came and went. Room and guest house in general is definitely older (although I kind of liked the atmosphere of that), so don't expect luxury like in a hotel. Also, it's in a busy street so it can get noisy (especially on Friday/Saturday) but just bring earplugs and you'll be fine!!

Location was perfect. From one side it’s not fare from train station and from the other is located in historic centre. Small open balcony was a plus. Room was not small and space was enough for 2 people. Bathroom was pretty big with good shower. Tea and coffee facilities are available. Personnel were very nice. Street is pretty crowded and noisy, though with closed windows it is not disturbing. AC unit was available.

No iron facilities in the room. The rest was good enough for the price.

The location was an absolute 10/10. In the centre of everything you're a 5-10 minute walk from most places. The owner was pleasant & helpful, accommodated our late check-in time & early checkout time. You can come & go as you please during your stay. The room was an okay size, but on the smaller side of okay, we didn't need anything spectacular, as we only spent time here to sleep between exploring the city. The private bathroom was nice & shower was good. Towels/soap provided.

The room is essentially a converted apartment in an apartment block, this meant the walls were very thin & you can hear muffled sounds from the others staying in the same apartment, especially when they are coming/going from their rooms through the front door, this was made worse as our room was the closest to the front door. The bathrooms fan was connected to the main bathroom light switch & rattled for 5 or so minutes after turning the light off every time.

The space was great, comfortable bed and the location was awesome - very close to walk anywhere l, laundromat around the corner and a bus stop being outside. Roberto was accommodating too!

The noise from the street, people yelling and singing at all hours, as well as the rubbish collection early morning. If anything maybe a bit of sound proofing would help?

Breakfast was not included. The location was superb and everything you need to see in Firenze is a short walk from the place. Be careful with the address. There are two number "12"s on the street, but businesses are written in red paint and residences use black paint. So if you arrive at a shop, keep walking until you see a black number 12. The room was a great size and had a fabulous interior balcony.

This room was perfect for us. The location made everything accessible and there were restaurants and grocery stores close by. The balcony was very cute. The pink bathroom was adorable. It was quiet. A perfect room.

I suppose offering to arrange a taxi to the airport would have been helpful. We were given a card to call a taxi but when I called the morning of our departure at 4:30 AM I could not get through. We were shlepping our bags for many blocks until we finally found some folks heading to the airport that were willing to share their cab with us. It was quite stressful. I advise anyone to arrange their transportation ahead of time.
