It's just a standard A&O but still new. If you visit one you already know what to expect from others. Good location if you want to visit other places but not that good if you are interested only of Florence as it's not in the historical centre. Wide showers and wc, comfortable bed, good wifi, enough water, good air-conditioning. It's fine.

Very poor equipped kitchen ( a general rule for A&O ), same awful shower gel and soap that they use everywhere. Don't store expensive food in the refrigerator, there are thieves ( also general problem for A&O ).

Room was very clean and bathroom excellent. Accommodation has a 'Guest Kitchen' which was well equipped. We were unable to use it as it was fully used by other guests. Well stocked supermarket about 100m away. Directly opposite train station (1.6 Euro's/5 mins to Florence - but trains not always regular/frequent, so need to check timetables carefully). Our room was at rear and was very quiet.

Room was very small with very little storage for clothes/bags. Furniture was very angular steel and a few bumps and stubs were a result of very little room to move around! We found beds were not very comfortable.

I appreciated the sturdy bunkbeds with charging stations and storage for little bits, such as books. The mattress was firm and comfortable. And, it was great to have the bathroom in the room. It was a walk to get to the centre of Florence but I actually enjoyed it, as there's a lovely cafe close by on the way to Florence. Although, it's a 20 to 30 min walk to the centre or a 5 to 10 min train ride. It was really close to the station, Firenze Campo di Marte, which is great at night, as a female solo traveller.

It seemed incomplete, and it needed more staff around to support guests. It's not a usual hostel. It's a mix between hotel and hostel with a mixed crowd (there isn't a homely feeling if that's the expectation). Okay, for me! The kitchen was quite small for the size of the hostel.

Very good hostel, a lot comfier than I had expected (worth noting we were in a private room). The beds were comfy too, which is one of the most unexpected things. If you don't want to eat at their restaurant, you can also cook in the kitchen which is at floor -1. The check-in was quick, however the self-check-in as well as their app didn't work, so we had to wait for a while until they finished checking in a big group that came before us. The location is ok, a but far from the centre, but also not too far (about 30min on foot or less by bus, but busses don't go too often). Don't be mistaken that it's conveniently next to the train station, as intercity trains don't seem to go to that station except once or twice a day (early morning and late evening). But you can also take a train to the main station (at the edge of the center), which I think goes every 30-60 min, and it's a short ride (c. 3min).

The self-check-in didn't work, and I think they had bed bugs because I woke up with red bites on my body, but only 2. If it hadn't been for that, I would have given them 10/10. It's not the type of hostel where you can meet new people and hang out, but a great stay if travelling with friends, family or for work

We liked the location, it was across the street to the Campo di Marte train station, and approx. 30 min walking distance to the center. Also we liked the breakfast, it exceeded our expectations. Also we liked that the street was quite although it was next to a train station we didn't hear any noise from the trains. The staff was also helpful. They arranged taxi for us to pick as up in the morning and the taxi arrived on time, we also liked the bar, they had good selection of beverages and food with very good prices comparing to the prices elsewhere.

the only thing we didn't like was the size of the room, Taking into consideration that is was a room for 4 people it was extremely small. we would stumble on the furniture when moving around the room, there was hardly any space to put our things, the space between the bed and the wall was so narrow I could hardly walk to get to the bed.

Absolutely convenient, modern and clean hostel. Check-in was fast and easy, staff seem to speak multiple languages and were always helpful, forthcoming and very friendly. As a solo traveler with considerable social anxiety, it felt like a safe and comfortable place to return to. Unbeatable for the price, in my opinion. The rooms have separate bathrooms for shower and toilet, there's a hair dryer in the shower room, and the beds were comfortable and provide a very decent amount of privacy due to having some cover around where the pillow is (+ they have a USB slot for chargers and a small light built in behind the covered portion). All the furnishing was modern, sturdy and clean. Staff also clean the rooms daily. The communal kitchen is very sparsely furnished, but it has a big fridge and a microwave, which is all I really needed for my stay. There is a guest laundry room as well, although I didn't use it or check it out, so I can't comment any more on this. Even though the hostel is located directly opposite a train station, there was barely any noise from the outside and I didn't hear any noise whatsoever from the hallways. It's about a half hour walk from the Duomo and a 15 minute walk from a bunch of nice places with street food. The lobby is very spacious and clean and the bar offers food and drink at average prices. They also allow you to store your luggage in a locked room that only staff have a key to, even after you're checked out! Wifi was very good, both on the rooms and in the lobby.

I legitimately can't think of anything negative during my stay. I suppose I hoped there was a way to lock your belongings on the room, but the storage chest underneath the beds didn't have a padlock provided. However, I also didn't ask the staff if they had any on hand because I felt so comfortable with the other women in my room that I didn't see any reason to lock my things up after all.

Spacious & clean facilities in a new building directly opposite Campo di Marte station - incredibly easy to get directly to the centre via train. No train noise in the room though! The family room for four has a decent sized bathroom and comfortable beds. Aircon worked well. There is a large room for breakfast (buffet) if you add that, but the actual guest kitchen is pretty small and cooking facilities quite limited. There is a locked luggage room, lots of seating space and drink options downstairs. Staff seemed to be still finding their feet a little, but all in all great accommodation.

There was a slight confusion with our booking. We had booked and paid for 3, but when we went to check-in they said our booking was only for 2. Upon seeing the booking confirmation on my phone, they contacted the tech team and tried to sort things out. Though finally we got the 3 beds, we got separated, and since we were travelling together and had packed things in eachother's bags, it was kinda inconvenient.

I liked the Staff. The reception staff and the kitchen staff are very helpful and friendly. I really liked the breakfast, pancakes from the automatic pancake machine. Everything is modern, beautiful. There is room temperature control - I really liked it.

I missed the HK staff. The sinkhole in the shower cabin was clogged, and I didn't notice that the HK staff came to clean the apartment. + The toilet paper ran out - HK didn't notice. But the excellent reception staff fixed the problem with the paper. Well, I'll admit and apologize to the reception staff, maybe I was a bit rude myself, because I was surprised about the extra city tax. So I'm a bit unhappy with myself. :) Sory

The staff was very welcoming, specially Davide on the night shift. Rooms are comfortable, the private bathroom was great (one part had shower + sink, and the other one toilet + sink). The fact that it's not that close from the main attractions might be negative for some people, but for me it was a great way of discovering the city, the walk to the city center is easy and with beautiful views.

The room temperature would sometimes be too warm and sometimes too cold. Also the beds were a little noisy, but other than that it was all fine.
