Very convenient location to visit Firenze and the town of Fiesole is charming with nice restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel has beautiful greenery and a nice pool. Though it is on a through road, it was very quiet. Staff is friendly and professional, providing information and a map of Firenze. We got gluten-free bread and cakes for breakfast and were allowed to stay at the pool after check-out. We would definitely book this hotel again.

Bathroom was a bit dated but still OK. The first night there was some noise from the room above.

Location was good, the end stop of Bus 7 is about 1.5km walk from the hotel. Fiesole is very nice, the air is fresh on the top of the hill, compare to the air in Florence in the waley. After 20-22000 steps every day in the town, sitting in the terace with lemon trees is very nice.

Many mosquitos, no window on the room, only a double glass door so no mosquito net, Your door is open or closed. So no fresh air, no mosquito. Or fresh air, with mosquitos. The breakfast after 4 days was is boring, one type of cheese, one type of ham, boiled eggs. Every day.

Fabulous location just outside Fiesole (but you really need a car at least for the evening - it would be a long, dark and dangerous walk into town). The swimming pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and chairs, and there are pretty gardens and terraces all round the hotel. The room was quite cool anyway, but the airconditioning seemed to work quite well too, and the bathroom was new with a good shower. Friendly and helpful staff.

The breakfast was quite basic and limited. It would be nice to have a choice of fresh bread (there was only supermarket sliced), and some fresh cheese and salumi (again, supermarket sliced). And muesli - there were only sugary cereals. Then everything would be perfect!

The property was amazing and front staff were very nice. The view was amazing, a nice get away from the big cities. Easy to take the number 7 bus from Fiesole to Florence. I bit of a hike to the hotel from Fiesole, but we didn’t mind and well worth it. We found some walking trails close by with beautiful views.

Walls are little thin and the last night of our stay new guests in next room made noise talking, banging and flushing toilets until 2:00 AM. Not hotels fault, just inconsiderate guests.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. The view from our window was stunning, just hills and Firenze in the background. The pool and terrace area are lovely and well kept. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff we interacted with were nice and helpful. We will surely come back and stay for longer than we did.

The location is a bit out of hand and in it's a shame that not even the closest town can be reached on foot easily, but this is clear from the onset. It was rather quiet while we stayed, but one could hear chatting and tv in the neighboring rooms. The breakfast was fine but might be improved a little. The building could be freshened up at some point, but in a way these not so modern hotels also have their charm.

Loved the pool. Views were spectacular from our room.

Edit: I hate that booking.com puts any negative comments first on here. This really does make the review look bad. These comments are minor points, but look terrible when presented first. Breakfast wasn't the best we've had, but was adequate. Travel into Fiesole town centre wasn't the easiest. It's a case of drive or risk walking 1.5km on a fairly busy road with no footpaths. A limited bus service is available.

Quiet location. Very friendly staff. Nice swimming pool, welcome after a hot day in the city. Very good breakfast. Fiesole easily accessible by foot(20' walk but along the main road), where you can take the bus into Firenze or in Caldini there is a train.

Need to realize that you need a car to get to a restaurant, but that was well known in advance. Reception can give some advice on good restaurants (we took one some 6 km further away from town and that was really nice).

The view from the room was beautiful. We woke up to a view of beautifully landscaped valleys stretching all the way to the city of Florence in the distance. All the breakfast items were excellent and included fresh apricot juice and local preserves.

the mosquitoes! They were far from ubiquitous but turned out quite vicious the night they attacked.

The location was lovely, quiet, nice size room and doors out to garden and pool. Fiesole is a pretty little village with great bus links into Florence. Amazing views from the village. Very friendly and kind staff.

Shower over bath, we would have preferred a shower cabinet.
