Absolutely outstanding accommodation in the most unexpected place! We stayed in the blue room and it was very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. The spa facilities were impeccably clean and comfortable, and the massage treatment was amazing. The guest house is situated in a hilltop mountain village, and it was great to end our holiday in such a peaceful place. We enjoyed exploring and admiring the views. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful and the breakfast was very generous. Highly recommend a meal at terrazza costantino!

The proprietor and staff went over and beyond to insure every aspect of our stay was excellent. They provided superior food and drink for a very reasonable price. Also, the proprietor took his time to drive us to the village of Cerda and took his time to help me communicate with the Commune, City Records, obtaining information about my ancestors from there. Can't say enough about my wonderful experience.

The accommodation was fantastic and clean, such a beautiful village. The staff were excellent, so helpful and friendly. Rosalina is an absolute asset. She was so attentive, helpful, engaging, and a very lovely person. We had a fabulous couples massage and time in the beautiful spa. We also had a lovely balcony we could sit out on and have breakfast on the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.

This was such a beautiful apartment! The bed was super comfortable and so were the pillows! The breakfast was delivered to our door which was also lovely. The town itself is super small so be aware there isn't anything available close. We drove (17 min) to the next town for dinner. It was cool to spend the night in a quiet, mountaintop town!

Exceptionnel location. If you want the Sicilian remote mountain village experience this is it. However that means your dining experiences will be limited to basic categories and you have to think ahead. The roads are a mess so forget the idea of a simple evening drive to a restaurant. Sicilian mountain miles are 3x longer than normal miles. In fact we found little to do because most areas of interest were inaccessible due to distance and road closures. The latter were not always marked up on Google maps and that led to 3 hours of driving to find a way back to the property. In the end the best part of the experience was the property’s location and the excellent room. It was also very good value and well hosted.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The staff were friendly and responsive. The room was very comfortable, quite spacious and very clean. There was a little table and chairs in the room to eat our breakfast and dinner at. It ended up being rather cosy and romantic. The spa was amazing! The private spa is not included in the room price but it is definitely worth it. You can book it in 2 hour slots with drinks and delicious antipasti included in the price. The area is beautiful but some of the roads getting there can be a little scary and uneven (which can describe most roads in Sicily). Follow the directions given by the staff of the B & B to get there. The village of Bagni Sclafani is small, very steep and picturesque. There is only one restaurant in the village and it was booked up when we were visiting. I would recommend booking a table well in advance if you want to eat at the restaurant. The staff very kindly arranged for food delivery from a restaurant in Caltavutura (as we didn't want to brave the winding roads at night in the rain). The food was excellent and still hot. It was also very reasonably priced. Breakfast was then delivered to our room in the morning...such a treat. Overall, it was a wonderful overnight stay.

Nothing.

Wonderful experience in a quiet hilltop town- authentic and special. Our hosts Flavio, and Rosalina went over and above as charming and accommodating hosts. The private spa was relaxing and unique. :)

A very relaxing stay and amazing staff who could not help us more including ordering a takeaway for us when we didn't fancy a drive out for dinner and bringing everything we'd need to enjoy dinner in our suite.

The drive up the hill, but it was worth it to stay here. Also the church bells chiming hourly until midnight but again couldn't be helped.

A unique experience: starting with a remote location in an old town on a cliff above Caltavuturo. You feel like driving to an old castle rather than a town. The property is flawlessly renovated and the room is beautifully designed, big enough and well equipped (espresso machine, kettle, fridge). The bed and pillows were super comfy. Flavio was the best host we could ever wish for. He was so helpful, answering all our questions, giving tips for our day out, even calling a museum for us to check if they are open. Every morning he would bring our breakfast to our room, right on time and with the coffee and pastries still hot. The spa is just awesome, with the blend of old stone walls and modern amenities like the jacuzzi creating a very special and relaxing experience. Flavio, sending greetings from the Czech Republic and wishing you all the best with expanding and enhancing the property further!

Be prepared for a twisty and bumpy ride to the town, this is not a place to bring your 7-series BMW :) Bring earplugs. There is a church just next to the house and the noise it makes at 7am would wake the dead. Also, there were some birds (and possibly other animals) nestling in our roof, making a lot of noise at night - easy fix with the earplugs. The breakfast, as delicious as it was, was a bit too sweet after 3 days - a bit more variety would be good.
