Wonderful Family Stay at Mangia’s Himera Hotel – Highly Recommended! We stayed at Mangia’s Himera Hotel for 7 days as a family and had a truly wonderful experience! Our room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The entire hotel—including the beautiful pool area—was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. We especially enjoyed the beach and the wide range of activities available—there was always something fun to do. The animation program was fantastic, keeping both kids and adults entertained throughout the day. The food was excellent, with a great variety and high quality at every meal. A special thank you to Matheo, who took care of us personally. His kindness and attention to our comfort made a real difference in our stay.Also, our deepest thanks and respect to Madame M, the room cleaner, for her exceptional work. She kept our room spotless every single day and did it with such care and dedication—it did not go unnoticed and was truly appreciated. Mangia’s Himera is a must for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and family-friendly vacation. Great job to the whole team!

The staff were all so welcoming and helpful The bed was super comfy The restaurant food and service was excellent The pool was lovely and the only thing here is there isn’t a rail to get in / out for accessibility but staff were always helpful if needed for my husband accessing / egressing the pool as we’re so many guests a very special thanks to Matteo the general manager who was so helpful and wanted to ensure my husband who travels with a mobility scooter had the best possible facilities and offered us room choices Matteo is always very visible each day wandering and speaking to guests All staff were lovely but other special thanks to those who always went above and beyond are Antonio in the restaurant , Francesco at the bar and Alvin in entertainments and activities The swimming pool was lovely and never felt very crowded My husband uses a travel mobility scooter and it was all accessible We would definitely return

We stayed as a family with two kids and had a great experience. The staff were very professional and welcoming, giving us a full tour of the hotel upon arrival to show all the facilities. The hotel is located right on the beach and offers plenty of parking. We booked a two-room suite, which had lots of storage — a large bedroom closet and a generous walk-in closet. There was also a nice little balcony to relax on. We chose the full board option, which included three meals a day plus snacks between lunch and dinner. While we didn’t get a chance to try lunch at the hotel because we wanted to explore local Sicilian restaurants, the meals we did have were not disappointing at all — a rich variety of good-quality food that worked well for both us and the kids. There’s a lovely winery called Anastasia about a 20-minute drive away that’s definitely worth a visit. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. All in all, it’s a great spot for a family vacation — you really can’t go wrong with a holiday in Magnia's Himera Resort!

At first i have to say that i have read all the reviews online and i was sure that this place will be very dull and bad. But im happy to say it all was wrong! We LOVED that hotel! We took the standard with sea view room all inclusive so we dine and wine in the hotel for 4 days. I will start from the room - Everything was super clean and new, beautiful design and big terrace (with roof) The bed wasn’t so comfortable but not the worst as well. Shower was big and clean and towels smelled fresh and nice. The only bad thing i have to say is that the room was quite small and not enough wardrobe space as well. The food - We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel, as well as some drinks from the bar (all inclusive menu and also off menu) all was really good! The inclusive drink wasn’t for my taste, the wine selection was poor and the taste was very cheap… im locally from sicily and i know you can find even 1€ bottle of wine that taste better than that so i dont think it was a matter of saving. Anyway back to the food that was AMAZING i was very scared that all inclusive hotel will serve poor food but then i was wrong again, all was fresh and delicious, plenty of choice. High quality fish and meat. I loved everything. The facilities- We didnt had the chance to dip in the pool since it felt cold for us, but i could see it was very clean and big enough. We stayed in the pool area and beach area for all the stay, and it was quiet and peaceful with beautiful view to relax, exactly as we wanted it to be. The hotel crew was also organizing some games and activities, we took part in some of them and if was pure fun. The crew - I have to say that we saw the director of the hotel at the place every single day (also during the weekend) its a nice feeling knowing someone is actively managing the place and you can feel it as well by the way everything was organized and perfect.

I have mentioned some things above.

The room was clean. The staff was very positive and helpful. There was a lot of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can book tours in the hotel. There is a little shop even there so you can buy something if you like.

There are mostly french tourists so the staff is speaking firstly french and than Italian, english is very rare. At some occasions the staff spoke only French. If you book a tour outside the hotel be prepared (if you are an english speaker) to google all the information or somehow translate the tour guide. They said the tour guide will be speaking English which she did not (at first she tried but quickly gave up and tried telling us only the important information). The room we had was looking right on the pool so we did not have our windows open because of noise.

Our stay at this hotel was for rest & relaxation after exploring Sicily. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location, is well-maintained, and has a magnificent team to look after guests. Cefalu and Palermo are both within easy reach, either by train or an organised excursion.

Whilst we loved our stay, the addition of an a-la-carte dining option would make this hotel perfect. The management team already appear to be taking steps to add just such a facility.

From the moment we arrived we felt special: professional team of employees, delicious food, committed FRAM animators (special greetings to Eva - a great girl🙂 ). We received a premium room - very comfortable. In addition, we were extended the hotel night without any problem. We appreciate it! We travel the world, and this is one of the best hotels we have been to. We will definitely return again. Greetings!

I have read the reviews before, but some are exaggerated from my perspective. The staff was nice and we could communicate partially in English or French, mostly in Italian. There are several French guests and you can have Italian classes each day if you want. The beach is mostly with sand and partially with stones (10-15%), so you can avoid them. The food quality was good, and there was different food in each of the 7 evenings we stayed. It was a nice vacation overall.

Very friendly stuff, offering lots of activities on-site for their guests of different age. Some programs continued till mid-night. Safe area for kids. Direct access to the beach. A big parking for cars. There are different tours being offered for groups to visit Palermo and other places. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner in a buffet style - the food was never boring and always of a great quality! Those who prefer this kind of vacations will definitely appreciated the facilities, the highest level of service and how everything is organised! However, if you came for a sea, then be aware - coast line is far from perfect. This is the only reason I'm giving 9 out of 10 to the overall rate of our stay.

A beach and water in this particular area. It was a feeling that it's few degrees warmer that it should be (maybe because of a factory or power plant, which is located a bit west of Himera's beach) . It's not as clean as on the east side (Naxos, Taormina area). But the biggest problem for us was an actual entrance to a water - the coast line is full of stones, which are not always visible and covered with silt. We swam just couple of times during our stay of 4 days. Swimming shoes are highly recommended!

Great hotel close to beautiful town Cefalù, big swimming pool, enough sunbeds for everyone, nice and clean rooms. The hotel provides a lot of entertainment actives. The staff was always helpful. Special thanks to general manager Matteo. Overall we are happy with everything and we hope we will come back there one day.
