Lovely hotel, friendly staff, rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely walk-in rainfall shower and a superb sea view. The swimming pool was warm and there were always plenty of sunbeds. We enjoyed the table tennis and giant chess too. Good breakfast. We ate our dinners in the hotel too; there was a reasonably good choice for vegetarians and the quality was excellent. Prices were comparable to what we would have paid to eat in town. An added bonus was that a packed breakfast was provided for our last morning when we had to leave early.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Came back for the fine location and good restaurant with dining terrace and lovely staff. Also the beautiful beach and relaxing pool area. All staff so friendly and helpful. The beach towels and a kettle were provided on request. Excellent availability of daytime food and drink to buy at the beach and pool areas. Freshly made and delivered. Pianist on terrace in evening was great addition to atmosphere and drinks and dinners were very enjoyable.

The breakfasts were not quite as good as our other hotel experiences in Sicily. More healthy options needed eg small pots of yogurts and nuts. Meat free options like cooked mushrooms and smoked salmon and omelette slices would be good. There were rather a lot of sugary high fat pastries and dry tarts which did not vary at all during our stay.

the location was stunning. We had a large balcony in front of our room which wasn’t entirely private and if someone lit up a cigarette (which happens far too often in Sicily), we scurried inside. The view was breathtaking.

The dinner restaurant food was ordinary. Fine for families but. head to town for a quality romantic meal. Michelin Star place took us in without a reservation. Breakfast on the terrace was very good and the ambience unbeatable.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful setting, with great facilities including the private beach ( stones and concrete jetty, but lots of sun beds and lovely bay to swim in). Small but perfectly adequate gym, and lots of other stuff to do advertised which we didn’t have time to take advantage of. But the main virtue is it is just a lovely hotel in an absolutely glorious setting.

A little bit too far out of town - nice walk, but a bit hilly and takes about 30 mins. Also, the steps down to the private beach were quite high, so would be difficult for very young children or the elderly perhaps. Not dreadful for anyone else though.

Beautiful location and terrace, gym available all day, hotel has its own beach with free umbrellas and beds. The staff us very nice and helpful. My room and terrace has its own entrancec lots of greenery around. The parking is free for hotel guests. Takes likes 20 minutes to get to Cefalù centre on foot, which is a nice stroll. I had about 5 reservations all around Sicily and this was one of the best ones - I even asked if there were more nights available, but sadly, there were not.

Breakfast could be richer, but I was staying only one night, so not a problem for me.

This property is an amazing location. Right on the beach. It’s an affordable taxi to Cefalu town center for 12 euro. The view is absolutely spectacular. The beach staff was amazing. Remembered us and took great care of the swim platform. The bar staff was awesome! The breakfast was good and seating was indoor or outdoor facing the sea. Plenty of parking. Helpful front desk team. We had a 2 bedroom sea facing room and it was plenty big.

The hotel is very dated. It could be amazing if they updated in a more upscale fashion. Our room was considered updated but had black stripes up and across the ceiling which had a weird jail feeling. You had to give a deposit of 20 Euros per towel and they ran out if you wanted fresh ones. Air conditioning would not cool the room well. Pool is far from beach and sits in the parking area. Shampoo and shower gel came in small packets which was odd. Chairs on balconies banged around all night in the wind.

The beach was amazing and easy access to the water and there was a beach bar with excellent staff. Gym was great too. The service from the staff was amazing and they were very helpful. The restaurant has good food and good wine and is reasonably priced.

A shuttle bus to town would be really helpful. You can walk it but for two girls, it didn’t feel the safest. The layout of our room wasn’t great as with two girls sharing, the shower is open and the toilet door doesn’t shut properly. The bar next to the restaurant didn’t have the best service but mainly due to the lack of staff I think. Also quite a few wasps.

The private beach was definitely the highlight of the property. Plenty of lounges, ability to drive straight into the ocean, the beach bar with a large variety of drinks and snacks as well as the dive centre and sup and canoe rental. We also loved breakfast (the staff were so friendly, it was a joy to see them each morning). The room was clean and spacious with a lovely little balcony and the air conditioning was a life saver.

The only thing we struggled with were the wasps on the patio. We attempted to site outside to appreciate the stunning view at breakfast, in the afternoon and for dinner but were bothered by wasps and had to move inside on all three occasions. Not sure there is anything that can be done, but just a word or warning for future guests in summer.

Everything! It is so beautiful here. We loved our sea view room with a generous size balcony. Our shower was the best so far in all of Sicily! The staff here is exceptional. All our meals were amazing & delicious! At the bar, the bartender recommended a lovely Sicilian gin. We loved scuba diving & snorkeling in the cold yet clear water at the private beach. We also had terrific laundry service.

The door that leads from the lobby to the main stairway down to the bar, is difficult to open. Then, the door only opens about halfway, not fully. The only other item we did not like was in our fabulously large shower…one of its walls has peeling paint (located on the same side as the toilet door).

The view and the staff were lovely. Being able to swim while the sun comes up out of the water is sensational. Breakfast was pretty good too.

The room had two quite small single beds, but they were actually surprisingly comfortable. When we first arrived in afternoon the water was quite dirty, but was wonderful first thing in the morning and bonus no people! The location does require you to take taxis even though you could walk the 2km, in the summer heat that’s not really possible. The taxis do end up quite expensive. The price per night felt quite a lot for the quality of room, when I think what $700aud would get me in Sydney but you are really just paying for the view and beach access.
