This is a very smart and intimate resort, perfectly located up the hill overlooking the Cefalu rock with it's fortress and battlements. There is a 'Tut Tut' transport that will take you down to the town and a superb restaurant in a new glass-sided room if you want to fine dine at the resort. The swimming pool is immaculate (and infinity) with plenty of sun loungers for guests. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.

Not the resort's fault, but there is a nearby water facility being built which did present some considerable background noise. It will not be a problem when it is completed (hopefully this year). Because so much effort has gone into the restaurant (which is first class), there is less in the way of snacks and light bites available in the evening, requiring journeys by TutTut into town to get pizza. The pool bar does a panini and other food during the day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Toto. The setting is stunning, with breathtaking views and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well looked after. Breakfast was delicious, the perfect way to start the day. We loved relaxing by the pool. They offer the tuk-tuk rides a short walk to the town or train station, which made exploring Cefalù so easy. We also booked dinner at their restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve ever had – absolutely unforgettable! A huge thank you to Gianpaolo, Stella, Chef Silvestri, and Dario for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. The only regret we have is not staying longer, but that just gives us the perfect excuse to come back – next time with our family.

We are very happy about our stay at Villa Totò! The hotel was beautiful, the views were amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were quiet and breakfast was delicious. Pool area was relaxing and refreshing. Restaurant Il Cappero (which is located at the hotel) was really good, I can recommend that as well.

It is good to know that the hotel is located on the hill. Hotel provides tuktuk rides to Cefalu town and back during the daytime. You can walk down to the town but the route back is pretty heavy to walk so you might want to get a ride. (Full length mirror and shelf in the shower would be great, but those are minor things)

Such friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. They have a WhatsApp so you can contact them about anything, order the tuktuk etc. it was just outside the town but the walk up the hill burned off dinner a bit so we didn't mind. It was worth it for the lovely location and views. Breakfast was great, loads of choice and endless coffee/tea if you wanted it. The whole place was very clean. Nothing gave me 'the ick'. Loved it. It would be amazing for a wedding as the whole place was stunning.

Could have done with a full length mirror in the room and a few hooks to hang coats. But I'm really trying to find things wrong as I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Building demolition work was happening close to the accommodation. This was noisy when work taking place The staff did everything possible to try and ensure this did not impact on the guests stay It is due to be completed in the next 4 days

The two ladies in charge of breakfast and the poolside bar went over and beyond fantastic service. Reception was friendly and welcoming, I was allowed to take two of these fantastic organically grown lemons home this morning. Room was spacious, air on worked well, shower was powerful. A little more privacy with the bathroom facilities would have been nice. The washing basin was next to the bed and the toilet only had a glass door with a gap. The bath tub was on a decking I’m the bedroom which was a nuce gadget, even though we did not use it. The pool area is nice, enough sunbeds and umbrellas, clean enough, quiet and lovely views in a lovely garden. Parking is available safely on site. Old town is in walking distance (15-20 min), but shuttle is offered by hotel. All in all, highly recommendable.

Room cleaning during the stay is not thorough, not very hygienic and can do with some improvement - wipe wet every day including corners, bathroom and shower walls. Breakfast area should not be considered as a dog toilet - even though, or maybe because we are dog persons, we consider it highly unhygienic to have dog excrements next to the breakfast table. It happened twice in 5 days, we pointed it out there and am sure that little Jimmy will be trained to spare this part of the property

No shelf in the shower to put your products No complimentary water in the room You need to pay to rent a pool towel We found the mattress incredibly hard but for our final night the staff arranged a topper which was kind of them, which was much more comfortable. One of the breakfast staff was much friendlier than the other, the lady on the 4th October was especially nice but we only had her for 1 breakfast. Daily room cleaning should have included a floor sweep / clean.

The property is very pretty, looks very new and the pool looks beautiful. The rooms are small and sparse - fine for what it is. The bed was comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. If you’re going to go to Cefalù for a relax / beach / pool holiday, this place would probably be fine for a few days if you’re someone who doesn’t need much room. There is no privacy with the toilet.

It’s at the top of a rather steep hill so walking up the hill is hard. It’s about 1.5 kilometers from the beach but their little shuttle can get you close. Getting back after 19h might need a taxi. The up side is beautiful view of the sea!

The Staff were SO amazing - incredibly helpful with any question & assisting with bookings. The resort restaurant was also 10/10. Really exceptional food - I would highly recommend enjoying at least one meal at Villa Toto. Rooms were excellent with very comfy beds & a lovely balcony. The view of La Rocca & the sea is stunning. It is an uphill walk from town, so we hired a scooter which made the stay absolutely perfect. The pool area is also fabulous, with an incredible view.

The location was lovely and secluded. It was very quiet and tranquil at the top of a hill overlooking Cefalù. The staff were unbelievable. The resort is gorgeous. The breakfast is beautiful. They even made us a breakfast box to take with us on our very early check out, including freshly baked croissants that I requested. The staff check on you throughout your stay and ask if you’d like any food or drinks around the pool. They have a free shuttle to and from Cefalù which saves a sweaty walk back up in the heat, even though it’s only 10 minutes. Just a perfect hotel, wish we stayed longer. Thank you so much Villa Toto.
