The hotel and facilities were stunning and in a very picturesque location. The staff were incredibly obliging, the facilities were exceptional and the room was a great size. A highlight was their beach club area. The day beds were huge and overlooked an idyllic bay with a step ladder into the water. Drinks and food could be readily delivered to your lounge or alternatively you could eat at the restaurant overlooking the water. The hotel was approx a 5 min ride into town via taxi or an easy 20min walk.

Unfortunately our air conditioning broke down the first night (didn't work at all) and we were moved to an equivalent room the following day and received a complimentary bottle of sparkling and an apology note. Whilst we accept that erroneous incidents can happen, we were disappointed that this occurred and would question the quality of the hotel's maintenance schedules.

The staff were so attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the choices available for the breakfast were great. The views from the hotel were stunning. It's location beside the Ocean provided easy access for swimming. The Town of Cefalu is within easy walking distance and has a plethora of different restaurants and bars.

Our only moan would be that we found the mattress on our bed too firm for our liking, but other than that, you couldn't fault the hotel.

Stunning hotel. Food and service was great. I’d say it’s slightly over priced but it’s definitely a beautiful hotel. The reef club, pool and private cove are amazing.

They need to improve their barmen/ women. They cannot make any cocktails. I ordered various different drinks and they were absolutely awful. I actually returned a few. Ordered a porn star martini, it arrived and looked like a glass of rosé. Un-drinkable. For a 5* resort the drinks should be amazing. They need to review this.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Calette. It was above our expectations - the photos really do not do it justice. The location is superb, with a gorgeous view of the sea. The staff, from the reception, to the concierge, to the restaurants are exceptional. This was really the best part of the stay - the hospitality was so warm, no ask was too great. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and booked everything for us. We barely had to lift a finger.

We were a bit disappointed that the beach area was not open during our stay, because we did not know that upon booking. Also, while we had an incredible holiday, the hotel is not the most kid friendly. There is little space to roam around, kick a ball, run/play. It's also about a 25 minute walk into town, which is where you'll want to go for dinners most nights because the food there is just exceptional.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Calette – a place full of charm and elegance. The service was excellent, the hotel was spotless, and every detail reflected high standards. The massage I had was of outstanding quality – truly one of the best I’ve experienced. The concierge service was exceptional, always helpful and ready with great recommendations that made us stay even more enjoyable A perfect time spent in a relaxed, truly Italian atmosphere. I would gladly return!

Crazy beautiful location. Arun at front desk was awesome. Breakfast was good.

This hotel (Callette No.5) is a part of the Callette hotel, but just a subsection, which is not clear online. Its bascially a hotel carved out of a larger hotel. Its private beach in under repair, so you have to go to the larger hotel beach area which is really crowded. This was not online information either.

The restaurant CalaLuna is simply spectacular, the staff at the restaurant is kind and very professional (Benedetto specially), the SPA treatments were very nice (Alessandra), the Calette Reef is a great spot to bathe in the sun.

The pool and outdoor jacuzzi were supposed to be heated but they weren't.

Beautiful hotel in great location, with fabulous restaurant and outstanding degustation menu. Unfortunately the extensive swimming club section was not open so we were not able to access the bay or grotto - apparently that only opens in June - which was disappointing. Had to swim at Cefalu main beach instead.

That there was no access to swim in the bay - one of the reasons we booked there

Breakfast has a good variety of food for different dietary needs Staff was very friendly and cordial Location was unbelievable, beautiful Music played every evening by a muscian, sax, piano Service - met and exceed our expecation

I did not have anything to complain about given we were at our daughters wedding being held in the hotel.

The staff at the front desk is excellent and very friendly and welcoming. We also had dinner at the restaurant (tasting menu), quality of food is very high and also the service and sommelier were extremely professional. If you’re looking for a first class stay in cefalu, this is the place to go.
