We stayed at Baglio Caruana for 10 days. We celebrated our honeymoon here. Although most guests stay here for aproximatly 2-3 nights we had a longer stay. We really enjoyed the location and the hosts were absolutely amazing! A very friendly and warm welcome and they made us feel comfortable. The hotel itself had all facilities as stated. We enjoyed some pooldays aswel as some trips to the beach and towns around Montallegro. We had lovely dinners and a winetasting, which were all very well organised. The owners and staff were always extremely friendly! Also the dog Arthur was so sweet! Thankyou for making our honeymoon such a memorable time! Kind regards, Daniel & Marcia

We chose to stay here for 3 nights after a week in a villa in Trapani with a large family group. We needed somewhere tranquil and relaxing to allow us to recover! The Baglio Caruana met our requirements perfectly. We stayed in the “new” rooms offset from the main building. These were spacious and comfortable and had panoramic windows and a patio with a wonderful view over vineyards and hills. The host Bernina and husband Roberto looked after us well from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was an experience in itself, though you will need a sweet tooth to fully enjoy it. The restaurant was only open on our last night. Not sure if this was because it was the start of the Easter Holy Week, or not, but no problem for us. We were served a delicious set menu of mostly vegetarian, Sicilian influenced dishes accompanied by very good wines produced at the hotels own vineyards. On the other 2 nights we ate at a local restaurant a short drive away on the beach at Bovo Marina. The one detraction which we would alert people too is that at the time of our stay (April 2025) there was ongoing renovation of part of the main building, and repairs to pathways in front of the new rooms resulting in a bit of a trip hazard. We did not find this a problem ourselves as the location more than made up for it.

I had such a wonderful time here! The place is beautiful and peaceful, and the staff were truly lovely, kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. I was traveling alone, and they made me feel completely safe and supported. They even recommended great places to visit and helped me organize my trip. The breakfast was delicious, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to work during my stay. I definitely want to come back one day. Thank you to everyone who hosted me and made my stay so special!

We loved their wine!! Great pool and sauna! The breakfast was fabulous, so many different choices, egg dishes, baked goods, fruits and juices and a double Americano coffee and their Cappucino's were were just the right size! The owners are absolutely the kindest and so helpful! The winery dog, Autu, we wanted to take home with us, he was so sweet and fun! The location is close to the beach driving and beautiful scenic views from the balcony. The room was very comfortable and the shower had great pressure. We wanted to take back 6 bottles of wine, the owners were ontop of it and packaged it securely so we could put it in our suitcase to fly home with it, we made it home with not one bottle broken! The pool was an infinity pool, no lip, water pours over the side and was big enough for swimming laps. We would definitely stay here again and wished we had booked it for longer!

We were expecting the hot tub to be hot, it's actually room temperature and I'm sure feels great in the middle of summer and it does feel great if you just got out of the sauna! When the temperature cools off outside, nice to have a hot real hot tub.

What a nice stay we had and very good hosts. The breakfast was outstanding, with some fresh fruits, omelets, cheese, jams... the room was very nice with a big terrace (we stayed in the main house). Then the pool a bit uphill with a very nice view (no see view but hilltop view but so nice !). The hosts prepared dinner and that was unforgettable.. Don't forget to visit Torre Salsa in the near area! Bovo Marina is the nearest beach, with a few beach bars/restaurants, we went to Montallegro a few times as well. Sciacca was the big surprise and not to be missed. We will definitely return also for a longer stay ! Thanks a lot for all the help you offered !

The property is located near grape fields that make a special atmosphere for escaping holidays in relaxing mode. The stuff is very gentle especially the owners Benina and Roberto, they were very happy to help us with everything that we needed . Very good choice for breakfast with very fresh and tasty meals. You can also participate in tasting of local wine produced in the place with a dinner included classic Sicilian dishes. The view near swimming pool was amazing.

I would like stay longer but vacation ends so fast

Exceptional accommodation and fabulous hosts. Bernina and Roberto certainly know how to welcome and treat their guests. Wine on arrival and a quick tour of their magnificent hotel meant we instantly relaxed. We loved and appreciated their warmth and generosity from the minute we arrived. Set in their beautiful vineyard the silence at night and quality of the room ensured a peaceful sleep. Their wine is first class and amazing value! The tour was a great ‘ice breaker’ to meet other travellers. Grazie mille to both them and their delightful staff.

Absolutely nothing was wrong.

There is almost nothing to dislike about the property and the owners. It’s paradise. The house is missing a few things that they seem to be working on but the necessities are all there. The room was really big (we were in the main house) and the electric worked well, as did the water temp and AC. It was always super clean as well. The owners are the sweetest people and will help you find your way around the area but never act over-bearing. They make excellent organic wine on the property and the breakfast is easily five stars.

Could use a gym but if it’s nice, you can swim laps in the pool. The jacuzzi also doesn’t heat up but there is a sauna to get your body temp up in directly next to it. I also think they could do something really fun w the downstairs area in our room, like add a dining table for two and a large fridge but that’s just me being creative.

The owners and their beautiful dog greeted us warmly with a large glass of their own wonderful wine. The location is quiet and beautiful among the vineyards and very close to the beach too. We are dinner in a lovely restaurant in the beach booked for us by the owners. Breakfast was great too although I would have liked some fresh fruit. Sadly the swimming pool was too cold but very lovely.

We were among the first guests of the season and the new room felt a bit unfinished - I would have expected some chairs outside too...

This is a wonderful and homely hotel to stay in for a differnt experience of Sicily.Benina was a wonderful host. The setting is unforgettable-house in vinyards ,jacuzzi and sauna and large rim flow pool with beautiful vistas of surrounding vinyards. We had the special tasting menu with wine of the farm which I recommend as there are no restaurants near.The food was superb and the short tour through their cellars interesting.

Everything was wonderful. Room a bit on the small side but I wanted a room on the terrace. Some of other rooms I saw were bigger but no balcony.
