Villamena B&B is a beautiful place to stay in Spello. Our 3 nights were perfect in every way and meeting Alessandro & his father was a highlight. They are the most kind and professional hosts. Breakfast by the pool in the morning was most enjoyable. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk easily to the train station and also into the Centro Storico of Spello. It was so relaxing to return home for a swim in the pool & to then sit poolside and read a book. We very much hope to return.

Loved everything about our stay

We originally chose this place for the location. It's the perfectly paced between the train station for fun day trips and Spello's beautiful scenery. In the end we stayed another night because the host was super friendly, the pool was a lifesaver in hot days and visiting this beautiful town was left so easy by its perfect location. If you have the choice, go for this place and not a fancy soulless hotel and you'll have just as much a blast like we did!

Our stay at Villamena was excellent in every way . Our host couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and served us a delicious breakfast with great coffee. The whole place is beautifully decorated with art work and the room has every comfort you could need . An easy walk from the station and the sights of Spello.

There was nothing to dislike - it was a highlight of our holiday .

This is a very clean bed and breakfast ideally situated to explore Spello. The room is a good size with a comfy bed.

The property was very hard to find having a very small sign. It is to the left of a pizzeria and you park on the road opposite. The air conditioning worked but wasn't fantastic. The proprietor speaks no English which shouldn't be a problem but makes trying to find it a bit tricky when you're on the phone and my Italian isn't wonderful. Breakfast was very Italian involving a croissant every morning with either a doughnut or cake on the two days we were there plus a yoghurt. I would have liked some fruit to be available.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean room with good bathroom. Comfortable bed quiet a/c. Excellent breakfast. Quite close to city gates. Good pool.

Pictures not quite representative of position just next to main road. We had a room at the back so fortunately no traffic noise. No view to speak of.

The home looked fine from the outside with a pool & a beautiful garden. Inside it was amazing with lovely stairs, a spacious bedroom and a fine bathroom. Next door was a pleasant ristorante and across the street was the ancient city of Spello. The home was well positioned within the town.

A perfect villa in a beautiful town. The pool was lovely too. A great sized room with balcony. We are both vegan and the owner and team were really helpful in trying to understand what we could enjoy for breakfast. Coffee, fresh fruit and bread yummy! Wonderful animals too. Very close to the town, Spello is stunning. We couldn’t walk heaps so we enjoyed having a sun bed area around the pool in the daytime. Thank you

A lovely comfortable stay. Home based right at the foot of the medieval village which was great for easy access and good position bringing luggage from the train station which is only about 10 mins walk. B&B run by a really lovely family.

Very clean and tidy place.. absolute impeccable service from Alessandro and his parents, couldn’t recommend of staying here enough for a beautiful and peaceful stay in Umbria

Everything was just perfect

Perfect! Clean, beautiful facilities, perfect location, wonderful people. Grazie! Breakfast beside the pool was the perfect start to every day, and a swim in the afternoon was ideal after a day in 30+ heat. Would definitely stay again. 10/10 than you!
