The staff was nice and accommodating. The room was clean, large and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Everything in the room functioned as it was supposed to. I did not find Taranto a great place to visit, the old town is really in rough shape with little to see (though I met some lovely people), but if you're going to go, this is a nice little spot not far from restaurants and shops. The breakfast is at a cafe that's quite a walk but decent pastry and coffee.

Just be aware the location is difficult to find in large part because Google maps does not function properly in this city.

Location is in the middle of the old town island and my balcony was right over the sea. Wonderful feeling to get up in the morning or leaving the balcony door open and hear the gentle waves at night. Cathedral is 100 metres and a freshly renovated big church is right next to the building. Typical Italian breakfast in a popular cafe at the Castello, very nice relaxing place. Taranto is a very special place, I can only recommend for everybody

Great location in the old town. Great view from the balcony over the water. Spacious room with large private bathroom (snow-white large towels) plus shared kitchen with fridge plus shared dining room. A bit steep stone stairs to the reach the apartment, but well, in the Middle Ages they didn't design elevators - the currently built elevator would ruin the atmosphere of the place. You have to earn this wonderful view by climbing the stairs... If I visit Southern Italy again in the future, I will definitely return to B&B Le finestre sul mare. Thank you for short but great stay.

very good location, quiet (although the coastal road runs right below your balcony), sea view from balcony, charming building, big room, nice communal kitchen/sitting area (which we didn't use)

"accessible" toilet (with a seat too high for non-wheelchair users) and handwash basin although the room itself was not accessible, bed a bit too soft for our taste

It is a great experience to stay here, in the old town and with a sea view. The lady is very informative upon arrival. The breakfast in a nearby cafe a typical Italian one. You sit outside, near the castle.

Could be hard to find but not for us. Entrance a bit rough.

Breakfast is included but consists of one croissant and juice or coffee. Quite disappointing we'd say.

The host was very kind and helpful even after the problems I caused him. I appreciate his patience. The room was clean and tidy, and of course there is the view.

Old building in the middle of the old town of Taranto very close to the sea side. Large rooms full of space for luggages and others. Large bathroom with different facilities.

The room I was assigned did not have the balcony with the view on the sea side and it was quite weird for an accommodation that says "windows on the sea"

The sea view from the window was amazing. Breakfast was in a bar and we left too early to go there but the breakfast area in the b&b was a lovely place to sit and have a cup of tea or eat takeaway dinner.
