We stayed in the Deluxe Suite on the top floor. It’s lovely. The exemplary attention to detail makes this an exceptional apartment. We loved the plushy quilt, the comfy bed, the overhead skylight, the super terrace and, of course, the view. It’s very well equipped, and the cleaning ladies, who come every day, are assiduous in replacing and refreshing everything. Everything is very clean, smells fresh and is very spacious. Two of the best restaurants in Taranto are within 100m from the front door!!

Nothing! It was perfect for us! However, it has to be mentioned that there are 70 internal steps up to this apartment. Didn’t bother us at all, but some people might struggle.

The apartment is wonderful, beautiful, clean, well equipped with everything a visitor needs.I also liked the design. I would especially like to highlight the amazing, interesting and very tasty surprise present that was waiting for me on the kitchen table when I arrived as it definitely made me smile. Besides, milk, drink and some snacks for breakfast were already stored in the kitchen.They were also very kind to store my luggage until I had a look around in the city. I can just recommend this place!

Immaculate, super clean & tidy. Very tasteful decor - and kitted out with everything you need - toiletries and kitchenette. The ‘old town’ area is quite grungy, and I was a bit taken- aback at first and regretted not staying in the ‘new town’, but it’s a refreshing change and I enjoyed walking around & taking it in, and felt ok as a solo female traveller. Managed to get a free carpark outside the accomodation and car was fine overnight. Several good restaurants in close proximity to accom. The check in was efficient (all online/text messages), and worked fine for an English only speaker.

The location may not be everyone’s cup-of-tea, but the accomodation is faultless.

The location on the shore facing the inner bay was great, admittedly I did have a room with an outer facing view. I came from the railway station and the walk was probably no more than 10 minutes. Taranto is a lovely town and this place is right in the centre of the old town, but not in any of the narrow streets so still has a feeling of space. My room was large and spacey and had a lovely roomy bathroom. Everything was available that I needed, if not more. There was a good choice of local restaurants to eat in. The supplied breakfast was good, it is an "Italian" style breakfast (not northern European) but I was fine with it. Communication to the operator(s) was speedy and efficient even though remote.

Despite a great room and location, maybe the only thing missing was setting expectations during the booking process for arrival that this is a remotely managed property and it is a bit like an AirBnB, perhaps adding some pictures of the property to be able to recognise it better when walking down the street and supplying the contacts needed to get access through the Booking.com notifications, this would help and save time upon arrival, otherwise all was fine.

The location was great on the seafront in the old town. The apartment was comfortable with a good kitchen, lovely bathroom and a large bedroom.There were complementary tea,coffee,water,and organic artisanal treats in the kitchen,and some quality toiletries in the bathroom. The apartment was cleaned every day by a couple of friendly staff.

It would have been good to have a pleasant view from the windows,not just the walls of the neighbouring building,and I couldn't find out how to reach the roof terrace..maybe that only comes with the more expensive options? But these are minor things.. overall it was a very good and stylish place to stay.

Big bathroom, big kitchen, big bedroom. It was just like a bachelor flat. Room was very quiet. Haven't seen a soul the entire day. The accommodation had an interesting rustic style.

Haven't met any of the staff. Somebody opened the main entry door for me when I called the B&B phone number. I washed my hair two times accidentally because the shower always started with the big top shower head.

The building has been beautifully restored and the apartments are amazing. The terraces aren’t shared as other reviews say so make sure you book the one you want. I had the suite with the terrace over the old town and it was beautiful and a nice quiet escape. Bed was comfy, apartment big and lots of nice treats like water and snacks every day. Owner really helpful with tips and guides and I was able to check in early

It’s true the area is a mix of buildings from amazing restaurants and apartments to less loved buildings. But it’s safe and never a problem. More tourists will bring more money and more regeneration

I of course loved the view! There were some lovely touches ur little goodies left for breakfast. The place was very clean and welcoming. The big surprise was a lift to go down with ur suitcase!! Bus stop just across the road. ( takes u to the train station and the large bus stop the other end which is quite far)

Even though view was nice the area wasn’t so flash.

Absolutely huge apartment (we booked the Deluxe Suite with Sea View, called 'Nonna Clelia' and it was bigger than the flat we live in), beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, excellent aircon, huge private terrace with lovely views - we were really impressed. Breakfast was pre-packaged so nothing fresh but all delicious and lovely to be able to make tea/coffee in the well-equipped kitchenette. Very centrally located but this does mean parking is a problem, if you come by car. There are a lot of stairs but there is a lift too, once you know where to find it. No staff on site - access was via instructions over the phone but the owner speaks good english.

Watch out for those pesky parking wardens!

Great experience. The room was clean, modern, very well ventilated. It was fancy actually. The host is super friendly and responsive. The location is perfect, behind the old town and in front the sea! We had an upgrade that made a real difference, I highly recommend to book the seaside view. We parked for free just in the street in front of the property.

Just a suggestion: could have a glass or a jar to put toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom sink... but nothing bad really.
