We stayed for one night with our 2 year old child. The location was really great! Easy access to the pedestrian area and shops. When I needed the host, he responded immediately! Among the facilities, host provides a car parking ticket to park for free at the public street(you will see the blue lines), instead of paying 1.5€ per hour. You will find plenty of spots nearby. This is a great extra facility and gives extra points to the owner who thought it! The building is located on the main street, there only few stairs down to get to the elevator which goes to the second floor. I have to mention that the photos on booking.com, were not clear enough to understand that the room is next to two other rooms behind one main door. I mean that you have to open this main door, you find the shared kitchen (fridge, microwave and espresso machine provided) and meet 3 rooms the one next to each other. One of these is yours! If you are traveling with children and need space, probably this place is not for you. If you book the option with breakfast, you are getting coupons for a place next to the apartment to have one coffee each and 2 croissants

We enjoyed the balcony with beautiful view of the castle. Was a nice room, nicely updated and very clean. Lorenzo communicated well , was very responsive, responded promptly, and gave us recommendations on where to eat. We also really liked the breakfast at a nearby cafe- 2 croissants each and a beverage. Croissants were excellent.

Bed was a little firm for our taste but is typical of what one finds in Italy. Overall very nice stay- we recommend it.

Il Castello is a charming B&B very close to the old centre of Tivoli, opposite the Renaissance fortress and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The rooms are not very big, but very clean and more than enough for a short stay, and well-appointed; there is a shared kitchen for those who prefer home cooking (we did not try, so can't give more details). Staff will give you a pass to park your car in the street, which is a convenient solution, but it is best not to arrive during the busy rush hour...

Breakfast is at a cafe down the street, but it could have been more varied... Check-out times are very inflexible, but I suppose they must have their own constraints...

Lorenzo was a wonderful host with a great personality and an eagerness to help! He prepared many details answering most questions we had regarding our stay. We drove and he provided a parking pass, for blue area parking, which made it so easy to park and unload luggage. We enjoyed our spacious room with balcony, which was very clean and well decorated and the bed was very comfy! There was also an elevator to transport our luggage…..a huge relief! The proximity to the square was perfect, an easy walk to the fountains, Villa d'Este (Tivoli Gardens) and Parco Villa Gregoriana. I would highly recommend staying at II Castello for your trip to Tivoli.

The location was amazing. Right in the centre of everything and walking distance to many of the sights. Lorenzo provided very detailed information on booking as to where to park. Ie. if you are driving. And provides you with a parking validation for your stay. We had ongoing communication with him as to our arrival time and he was there when he said he would be. Gave us lots of information for our sightseeing. Breakfast provided at a cafe Aron D the corner. Coffee and two croissants. All very efficient. And room and lots of nice touches as well.

The apartment was in a great location, with easy bus transport to Hadrian's Villa and walking distance to Villa d'Este and the historical center. The room was a good size and extremely clean and close to many restaurants/bars etc. Excellent communication from host, who gave us good directions to the property and information regarding restaurants and transport. The property had a balcony that had a lovely view of the medieval castle, Rocca Pia. We received a voucher for breakfast in a nearby cafe (choice of hot drink and two croissants). The apartment also had a lift.

excellent location, short walk to the centre of Tivoli and the restaurant, Villa D'Este. We didn't opt for the breakfast which was served in a local coffee shop, we sourced our own. The host met us at the room and settled us in which much appreciated. And to top it off the host provided us with a free parking voucher and we managed to get a space right outside the front door.

The two chairs in the room are a little worn and could do with replacing but honestly this wouldn't put me off recommending the room.

The rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. The location was very nice and the parking pass made parking very easy.

Being called a bed and breakfast I assumed breakfast was going to be on location. I didn’t read carefully enough the instructions sent and didn’t realize we were supposed to use cards left in the room to go get breakfast at a nearby establishment…I ended up going out and buy our own breakfast.

Great location with a view of the castle and close to many restaurants. Like a 4 minute walk to the entrance to the fountains. Amazing' Fairly easy access but need to be tech savvy as it's all electronic checkin. It's like of like a mini hotel with only 3 rooms. No staff but has a breakfast option just 2 minutes away.

The host was very nice. He didn't want us to be lost so he waited for us. He provided us with a pass so the parking was free on the street. The apartment was super clean. You can't see a dust on the floor. He also provided different type of water for free which we didn't see anyone else doing that. Location was excellent. We walked less than 200 feet to get to Villa D'Estat. From our rooms, we can see a castle right next to us.

We didn't realize that we are sharing an apartment with strangers but it is not the host' s fault because when I booked it, I thought it was a hotel. We didn't realize the 2nd floor in EU is 3rd floor for U. S so it was a bit hard on me
