Excellent location right on the water and next to the imposing Romanesque Trani Cathedral. In fact, having breakfast with a view at the port and the cathedral was a bonus. The reasonably priced Regia Restaurant serves great dishes with an emphasis on fish. We enjoyed having dinner there. Breakfast is a moveable feast with home-made cakes and a rich selection of breakfast food.

Everything about this hotel is great; it merits its 4 stars and in my opinion is on its way to 5 stars. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are spacious and spic-and-span clean; the bathroom is furnished with bathtub and has an individual electric radiator that you can turn on or off as you like-excellent option. Great value for very reasonable price.

The location and the staff were outstanding. The breakfast was excellent.

The purpose of choosing this property was to have a room with ocean view. Instead, we got a very small room that faced a wall about 10 feet away on a very noisy alley that kept us up till midnight. When we asked for a better room, we were told we should have called ahead. How would we know to do that. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon hoping to have an easy lunch, we were told the restaurant was fully booked and we could not be helped. They were having a wedding which clearly took priority over hotel guests.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The building itself is beautiful, and the room was stunning—it even had fresh flowers. The sea view from my room was breathtaking. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are incredibly helpful. The hotel’s bathroom is well-equipped with toiletries, which are so handy when traveling light. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in while in Puglia—an 11/10 experience. I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at Palazzo Filisio. The location next to the cathedral is exceptional. The hotel and restaurant staff were incredibly professional, friendly and helpful! A special thank you to the ladies at the reception. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and a varied, high-quality breakfast during our stay. We loved the city of Trani and its cathedral, we will come back!

At peak times it might be difficult to find a parking space, but we were lucky in the end!

Communicating with hotel staff about parking was great. We couldn’t get a better place to stay, located across from the cathedral , steps from the Castle and next to the waterfront. We had a beautiful room overlooking the ocean, my husband took beautiful sunrise pictures as well sunset. Breakfast is delicious, we order eggs daily. Extremely clean with fantastic staff at front desk.

Perfect hotel in a perfect point of Trani. Outstanding view and magnificent atmosphere. Just a step from the Cattedrale di Trani. Big and great room with new and modern facilities. Very nice welcome hub in the middle of the floor with coffee, tea and delicious cookies. Very welcoming staff and a nice variable breakfast. Hope to come soon again.

Breakfast was exceptional. It was a beautiful buffet laid out in the dining room, and there was an opportunity to eat on the outside terrace. The hotel offered us an advance choice of rooms with either water or cathedral views. We chose a water view, and enjoyed a room with high ceilings and windows that opened onto the harbour with expansive views. While the hotel was located in a traffic restricted area, it was possible to drive up and leave our luggage, and the parking was very close to the hotel.

Regrettably, the restaurant was not open for dinner the night we arrived, and so we did not have an opportunity to try it. Also, they were having trouble with their electrical system, and so the air conditioning did not work. We did have to close the windows because it was quite noisy outside, and so it ended up being hotter and stuffier inside. We were surprised that the hotel did not alert us to this problem in advance.

This was a surpringly nice stay, though only one night. We had a beautiful corner room, filled with light. The staff was professional and nice. The breakfast is a highlight. We loved the local cheeses best. I initially worried about parking, but it wasn't an issue in the end.

Very nice room in very attractive building in the local limestone, between the cathedral and the port. Spotless, comfortable, and my room had views over the port. Good wifi. Good breakfast included in the price, which was very reasonable for this quality of hotel.

A beautiful small hotel in a renovated old palace. Every detail has been thought out. The room was beautiful with plenty of space. There were welcoming details in the small sitting room such as free coffee and lovely homemade biscuits. Breakfast couldn't be better. The situation next to the cathedral on the waterfront is superb. If you go to Trani [which you should] this is the place to stay. All in all this is one of the best hotels I ave stayed in. I recommend it highly
