That was our second time at Villa Selene (that should tell you something already). Location is simply amazing, you can see the lake below you and the mountains surrounding it. Breakfasts served at the location are fresh and tasty (including great coffee). There are two fantastic restaurants within walking distance for lunch or dinner (you will need reservations as they are always full). Note- the place is not close to the lake, it's far above it (great views guaranteed). If you want you can just spend your day reading books in the garden with an amazing view of the lake.

Internet could be slightly better.

We had a truly perfect holiday at Villa Selene. From the moment you arrive the views are stunning and you are greeted with kind service. The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved sitting on the terrace and enjoying a cappuccino or a glass of wine. The breakfast each day was unique and delicious. There was a lovely tea bar and plenty of food options, even for those with allergies. While it may not be on the lake shore, there is a stunning view of the lake. You can drive down to Limone Sul Garda and either enjoy the beach or take the ferry from there. The service is incredible!!! I would stay here every year if I didn’t live across the ocean.

The staff at Villa Selene - Anita and Fillipo - were incredibly welcoming and friendly, helping us to book a table at a local restaurant and always making sure we had everything we needed. The views from the hotel are unbelievable, and eating breakfast outdoors overlooking the lake and mountain vista was a real "wow" moment. We visited in May, and found the village very quiet and peaceful, you're certainly away from the crowds here - the only noise you can hear at night is the singing of cicadas. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to stay here, and were very sad to leave.

The room we stayed in was fairly basic, but it had everything we needed. The location and views more than made up for a little less luxury indoors! You will need a car to be able to access the hotel and the roads are very steep and bendy. This was no problem for us (we really enjoyed driving around and exploring!) but something to bear in mind if you are not a confident driver.

Exceptional breakfast that varied every single day. Much appreciated. We've been to many lodgings over the years and nowhere beats this one. Quality choices, preparation and service carried out to perfection. If you are looking for a quiet and exclusive place, Villa Selene in Pregasio, is the place to stay. Anita and Filippo are great hosts, able to furnish local information about the top things to do in the vicinity (as well as the Lake Garda Guest Card, providing discounts to visitors). Breathtaking vistas from the terrace and bedroom. A spotless and well-maintained hotel with adjoining gardens, overlooking Lake Garda. Lounge chairs with cushions and towels also provided to relax on a spacious lawn, needless to say, for free. Villa Selene is within walking distance to restaurants, mini-markets and another charming town called Pieve. It's also worth noting that it is indeed possible to visit more popular and distant towns like Limone, Malcesine and Monte Baldo using public transport (such as; buses, ferryboats and cable cars). The nearest bus stop is about 300m away from Villa Selene, to get you started! Pregasio, a most ancient town, is within walking distance to Campione (1km down hill) which leads to 'La Strada della Forra' if you should wish to walk further! So, bring comfortable walking shoes or your bike! These are just a few of the things you can do in the area. Could have stayed longer to explore the area more. Will do next time round!

The location is simply spectacular. Just beware it's a bit of a super curvy drive away from the lake itself. But once you get it it's totally worth it. There are very good restaurants (you might need to make a reservation as they are super popular) and very good grocery store walking distance away so you don't have to drive once you get there. There is a dinner organized at the Villa once a week and it's a must have experience. Food was GREAT. Same for the breakfast. Fresh produce, local specialties, and great coffee. Also, it's not visible on the pictures but there is beautiful garden with long chairs to chill with a book (we spent lazy 3 days in there, just reading and doing absolutely nothing with the most amazing view ever).

Everything. The location, the hosts, and the breakfast were just perfect. The view - you usually see this view in pictures, but you can experience it for yourself here. Yes, you have to drive up the mountain a bit, but the view and the whole experience are worth it. The hosts - are attentive, friendly, and caring. This is a small family business so you get treated like a family. The breakfast - different hand-made pies every day, a huge selection of superior quality teas, great coffee, and a selection of various foods, including variations of eggs. The selection is wide and everything is fresh. Honestly, you wouldn't find this kind of quality in some 5-star hotels. Highly recommend!

Location is phenomenal, with incredible views over Lago di Garda and the valley. Family run and everyone is so friendly and offered great advice on places to eat and walks to do in the surrounding area. The hotel is so peaceful and calm, a great change from the touristy busy towns on the edge of the lake, but you can walk down to the lake from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is home made fresh and delicious.

The view is simply fantastic as well as breakfast. The room is very nice, spacious and comfortable. Everyone was kind and helpful during our stay. We enjoyed it a lot.

I am sorry we had to keep the air-conditioning switched on during the night. It would be much nicer to keep open windows as the place is immersed in nature, so nice and quiet. However, there are many insects during the summer and it was too risky to sleep with open windows.

Villa Selene is a piece of heaven! It has The Best view of Garda Lake and the host was amazing. The breakfast was excellent, home made with italian ingredients and you can enjoy it having a 360° view at Garda Lake. Everything was beyond amazing! If we ever reach Italy again, we will surely come back to this wonderful place! Thank you for this unforgetable experience!

Absolutely nothing!

Super location, with magnificent view over lake Garda. No better place to enjoy breakfast then the terrace of this hotel. Breakfast itself is very tasty, with very wide offering & choice, with some additional options (eggs any style, coffee any style,..). This is a quiet, small, family-run hotel, that offers genuine & authentic hospitality: Anita and her son Filipo bring lots of personal touches and make you feel at home. Our room had a big terrace with view of the lake. Good quality mattresses, so we slept very well We had a fantastic stay, this place is ideal for both 'dolce far niente' or MTB/hiking Loved it.
