I was visiting for a music festival at the Live Club which is about a 20 minute walk from this hotel. There are limited accommodation options in this small town but I can't recommend Villa Appiani highly enough. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English which helped me a lot. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options.

The air conditioning in my room broke after the first night of my stay. I reported the issue to housekeeping (as there was a puddle forming) but unfortunately it remained broken for the rest of my stay. It wasn't a big issue for me personally as it wasn't too hot.

None are deal breakers, but since you ask: - Location of rooms at ground level: they are not very bright even on a sunny day, and you can hear the usual noise from the workers from the breakfast room and other rooms being cleaned. - Shower layout: although very nice bath and shower head, it is located outside the toilette, only separated by a curtain from the bedroom. - Breakfast times are different during weekdays and weekend and we weren’t informed during the check-in, and there was no additional information inside the room or the breakfast room.

Ancient italian villa with all the modern standards, stunning position beyond a more ancient tower on the road to a liberty style hydroelectric station (a must see if first time in Trezzo). It has been comfortable parking in the hotel area and then walking out at night without driving. All kind of dining Is available in Town, not only more quality dining as offered in the structure itself and few others, but also pubs, bars, pizzas, chinese, icecreams...and last but not least (being the reason of our visit) with a 20 min. walk you can reach the famous Live Music Pub.

Reaching the Villa for the first time with help of Google Maps the app drove me to a side street and not to the hotel main entrance. So just remind yourself : bridge Capriate-Trezzo, Is the first construction you find on the right side at the end of the bridge if arriving from Capriate highway exit.

The staff is always friendly There is a wide variety of choices for breakfast choice with wide variety. The dining room/courtyard is beautiful and cozy. The kids playroom is quiet and has plenty of toys for kids to be entertained. The shower cabin is a good size for Italian standards and the water pressure and temperature are good. Free parking spaces within the premises. Beautiful / well-maintained premises inside and out.

Some of the rooms lack storage place. The extra bed (for kids) was extremely uncomfortable. (the springs were totally shot) The breakfast cost of 14 euros per person seems a bit excessive.

My son is coeliac and even tough the kitchen did not have gluten free pasta on hand (which I do recommend) once we provided our own pasta the staff was ready to prepare him a dish. The was great with plenty of options including gluten free items. The room was amazing very spacious and the beds super comfortable, unfortunately during our stay we had very rude guests next to us who kept a noise level well beyond acceptable well into the night. (maybe the hotel can advise about quiet hours). We will surely stay again if we are in the area.

Villa Appiani is an excellent choice if you're traveling by car — perfectly located as a hub for exploring the region. The staff were very professional and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and convenient stay

The breakfast could be improved, as some items like eggs and pancakes were not always replenished when they ran out. A bit more attention to keeping things stocked would make the experience much better.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Decor throughout the hotel was lovely and our room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The staff, especially at breakfast were friendly , welcoming and happy! Which makes a pleasant change. The location was great, walking distance to some historical sites and close to the motorway. Would recommend to family and friends.

The shower cubicle was a little small. We were OK, but I can image larger people would struggle.

Firstly the location was great, with an old 18th century villa converted in a classic but modern way. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the restaurant was a great Italian food experience. Thank you Serena for the great Aperol Spritz. And Mauro for great suggestions and for being accommodating.

It's hard to find any negatives. The weather was terrible, but luckily they have umbrellas for the guests :)

Beautiful old Villa, with modern renovations! Hotel provides slippers, robes; very nice touch!! Service was excellent! Onsite parking! Restaurant is 5 star!! Food and service are excellent!!

Our rooms bedroom and dining area overlooked the former outdoor garden space, which is now enclosed and the location of the restaurant; although the bedroom had privacy curtains, the dining area window needs them too!

Very good location: short walk to bakery, pizza restaurant or old castle. Very nice lobby of hotel. Beautiful and cozy. Good room and bed. Full minibar Big parking lot

Breakfast is so limited and mainly bakery not enough variety of vegetables and eggs but this is normal for this part of Italy. Suggestion to make breakfast more international.
