A hotel with a beautiful history. Many nice public rooms to relax in. We enjoyed afternoon drinks served to us on the lawn. Great dinner. Our host couldn’t do enough for us (thank you for your help with our car). Highly recommended. Oh, and ask to view the convents church - amazing!

We went at night and the receptionist was very friendly and kind he helped us so much the rooms were spectacular they even put toothpaste and toothbrush. In the morning we went breakfast and the kind lady offered us everything and was very kind and the garden was beautiful and the car park was very big and full of security I definitely recommend this hotel.

Our flight was 4 hours late, and the lady stayed up for us and was very kind in spite of the late hour. Breakfast had great home made cakes. The building and it's gardens have special atmosphere.

Internet didn't work in the rooms. The mattress wasn't very comfortable.

Big room, clean, good breakfast, large private area with grass, so you can go out with your dog. Courteous staff. Just 5 minutes walk to the center of Trino. No additional charge for dogs.

In order to open the gate (which is usually closed) you need to ring over the intercom. But you can take a remote control in the hotel.

Il convento is the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Quiet surroundings, very secure, staff are friendly and helpful. I love staying here and now always plan it in as a stop over on my journey to Tuscany.

A beautiful and tranquil setting in a converted convent in Trino. Spacious rooms, quiet, and very clean. Run very professionally by a lovely lady whose husband makes the most delicious cakes for breakfast (we highly recommend the orange cheesecake!!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Il Convento is an amazing place to stay. Quiet, lovely grounds, friendly staff who will do anything to help. Try the restaurant if it is open. It is beautiful food. My choice of place to stay every time I travel that way.

Great location and short walk down to village

It was v hot and had it had a a pool it would have been perfect.

We liked everything about this hotel. The room was perfect and comfortable with air conditioning. This ex convent was built in the 15th century and very spacious with lots of vaulted ceilings. The restaurant had 2 dining rooms and the food was just fabulous. There is also a garden to take your aperitivi before dinner. The breakfast was good and always served by the owner who was very conscious of our comforts and ensured we were always comfortable. A perfect gem in Trino.

The hotel was in an old convent and was a convenient stop on the way to Tuscany. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was excellent we would definitely stay here again.
