We loved everything about Casa del Fabbro! This property, beautifully restored in a historic building, is absolutely wonderful! It is immaculately clean, comfortable, and lovingly and tastefully decorated! A good assortment of self-serve breakfast items was provided. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the gorgeous historic center. The owners were extremely helpful and kind, assisting us to the property during a rainstorm. Although we only stayed one night, we have such happy memories of our time there!

There was nothing that we didn't like! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

The location in the fabulous old town of Troina was perfect. The "room" turned out to be more like a small apartment due to an adjacent kitchen/dining area not shared by anyone else. The rooms were as spotless clean as any lodging place we have stayed in. Interior design was first class. The owner was kind enough to allow an early check-in, and he met us at a nearby parking area and walked us to the unit. Troina is a wonderful place, with lots of history. We will be back.

All was simply perfect.

The property is a beautifully and tastefully renovated building from a long, long time ago. Super clean, very well equipped and stocked. It has a kitchen that is wonderful! It was very easy to check in and check out! We had a code to get our key. We went to the museums nearby, Robert Capa is a jewel! The hosts thought of absolutely everything! This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it! Everyone was happy. The room was spacious, modern bathroom, beautiful kitchen and balconies overlooking Mt. Etna! Gorgeous!

That we had to leave!

We rented two rooms for our friends. Both rooms were beautiful. One room had a balcony with a spectacular view of Etna. The place was extremely clean. Both rooms were comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time there, but it was wonderful! Check-in was super easy and getting into and out of the place was also very easy.

NOTHING! Everything was great!

A beautifully constructed and furnished apartment steps from the historical center and main piazza of Troina. An unexpected early arrival was accommodated with open arms. After the cloudy and rainy day of our arrival, the morning brought a clear sky that revealed the beauty of a smoking, snow covered Mt Etna from the bedroom window. A varied and substantial supply of breakfast items for a self-service breakfast were provided in the well-appointed and comfortable kitchen area. Convenient, free parking was innovatively provided near the apartment in a town where parking is at a premium.

Nothing worthy of mentioning.

There are not many parking spaces close to the property, so the owner kept one for us and waited till we arrived. We were accompanied to the property, shown around, received multiple explanations and they also took care of our dinner reservation. They were very kind and open. The house is in a city that is being rebuild and is truly charming. How could they make such a gem from a ruin? The interior is amazing with extraordinary details (thick linen bed sheets, wrought iron window railings, towels tied up with a dry flower decorations...). The kitchen was full of goodies for breakfast: a variety of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, very special homemade jams, honey, fruit juices, cereals, toast, muffins, biscuits... The kitchen is very well equipped, the house has a nice sunny balcony with an overview of the valley, the rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. There are two bathrooms with toiletries. Since they had no reservation on our last day, we were allowed to stay at the property until we wanted.

That I couldn’t stay longer

The room was beautiful! It was very spacious and it was nice to have been upgraded to the en suite room. The breakfast was amazing. so nice to have the cake and all the other choices available since shopping was not close by. Sitting on the deck enjoying a picnic dinner we brought was lovely! Our hostesses we so kind and thoughtful and great with communicating!

We had a great stay in la casa. It was so nice, a beautifull room with a stunning view. We saw the sun in the morning. The bedrooms were perfect. We slept as a queen in the big bed. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed it very much. Thanks a lot for the great stay

La Casa del Fabbro is beautiful … very well equipped with stunning views. Very friendly, helpful host & some lovely personal touches in the Casa.

A lot of steps to property … only a problem if you have a heavy bag.
