We have found the apartment very clean. We found it very comfortable and nice. Loved the balcony. (Don't forget to take mosquitoreppelent with you! :) ) The apparthotel belongs to a clean, and nicely taken care camping. You can reach the beach with a very short walk through the camping. We love the sandy beach of Cavallino, that's why we booked this accomodation.

Their "greetingsmessage" is a very unfriendly collection of their rules. They are also sticking to it. We have experienced absolutely unflexible, and anticustomeroriented, may a bit condescending behavior, which was very suprising for me in Italy...

Everything was very good, as expected. The check-in was clean and easy. We arrived way before check-in time, but they let us keep the car in the underground parking until we got the keys.

Nothing special, we had to give 100EUR deposit on arrival, which isn't a problem, but to get back at check-out time we had to take down the trash by ourself which was a bit weird but ok. Furnitures are a bit old, but ok also.

The room was comfortable and there was almost everything we needed during our stay. The balcony is very spacious and has even outdoor table. The beach is gorgeous, sandy and equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The whole resort is very clean. There are even outdoor facilities, e.g. swimming pool, bar, restaurant, little market, WCs and showers. The whole area is covered by trees so it is not so hot there. The possibility to park the car in the underground garage makes the car not overheat from the direct sun. The whole city is very tourist-oriented and there are a lot of shops, banks, markets and restaurants around. Almost everyone in the resort and in the city speaks also English and German. The bus stop is located just around the corner and you can get to Venezia for a day trip or to the city centre.

The kitchenette did not have any detergents or towels to clean the dishes whatsoever. We were met with uncomfortable odour in the bathroom. Even the fan in the bathroom did not help much to get rid of the smell. At the arrival we weren't explained many things, which we had to find out by ourselves. For example we were not given the Wi-Fi access credentials and had to ask for them the next day. Other things was how to book the umbrella and sunbeds on the beach, which was a little bit chaotic.

Location. 20 minute bus to water, then 40 minute ferry to Venice.

The room was very clean and we had a spacious balcony. The kitchenette had all of the basics. The location was good as it was just across the street from the camping, and we could park our car underground which was very nice in the heat.

The kitchenette wasn't useful. There were 2 very small electric hobs, but they were so close to each other that you could only use one at a time. So in the end we couldn't eat our dinners in the room which was why we booked the room in the first place. Also, the fan in the bathroom blew smelly air into the room. So we had to keep it off.

The Joker Residence is the hotel that forms part of the Joker Campsite which is over the road. The whole set up has a bit of a early 90s camp site vibe where you get given a wrist band to enter the facilities shared by all the campers. The hotel facilities are all quite dated and are suffering from general wear & tear. Toilet paper seems to be in short supply at the Joker as when we asked we weren’t allowed a second toilet roll in our room……! One other thing that was quite frustrating is that you are expected to pay a €100 euro deposit in cash on arrival. However, there is no atm cash machine near the hotel. And, in an increasingly cashless society we live in, is impractical and not fit for the year 2023.

Not comfortable small beds, folding, i was scary to fall down while sleeping, no electric kettle. Not friendly reception takes your passport ( is this generally normal to do..? ) before paid + 100 euro guarantee till check-out.
