Enjoyed the selection at breakfast each morning. The owner is a lovely woman, and the staff friendly. The room was nice and clean. Liked the balcony overlooking the river. Discovered an amazing Italian restaurant a 5 minute walk from the hotel, so much better than the touristy restaurants in the centre. The gelato shop along the road is good also.

The location is a bit further out, but the bus stop into town is across the road and only takes around 15 mins to get to the centre and 20mins to the train station. The last bus back was 8.40pm, so if you want to stay out, it's a taxi back around 20 euros.

I don’t really eat breakfast, perhaps a bit of fruit but I did go down on my first day and had a couple of slices of toast. However, there was a lot of variety for everyone. Only disappointment for me was the lack of fruit at breakfast. The hotel just provided watermelon (the only melon I don’t like 🤣) The staff 💕 beautiful, friendly people

I didn’t like the shower. It’s an overhead shower so no hose to move the shower about. The cubicle could also have been a bit wider.

Amazing hotel with clean, modern rooms and a great view. Breakfast was very convenient and better than expected with good variety of food. It is a bit far from the city centre and train station, but easy to reach by bus. Bus stops are at walking distance. Overall, great value and experience.

Hotel reception was closed when we arrived. It was before check-in time so we knew the room wouldn’t be ready, but were surprised there was no place to sit and wait out.

This is located in a very nice quite neighborhood, parking places are for free all the time not like in Verona. Breakfast very nice and food. Staff very friendly, i would book it again.

The coffee at the breakfast is awful, better ask for a black tea!

Missing more glasses in room. Also would be helpful to have at least some cutlery available in room. We came late and ordered delivery. There were no cutlery available so we had to eat with hands.

Conveniently located a stone trow from old Verona with a bus stop a few paces from the entrance. The room was really comfortable and everything is just right - except the breakfast, which is of the Austrian sumptuous type, so exceeds anything you're likely to encounter in Italy. Ample parking in the street, nearby highly rated Trattoria, which must be booked in advance though.

The room was nice and comfortable. They had super good beds. The staff was excellent, the room was always clean, always had my room done with extra towels and a bottle of water. The breakfast was incredible with a lot of variants for sweet and salty.

The location is not in the center of verona, but there are many buses coming and going, and the ride is aprox 20/30 min.

The breakfast was very nicely presented and looked very inviting. Also had enough variety. Very helpful staff and Great location.

Some of the served sandwiches at breakfast were not fresh of the day. Taste was impacted e.g. from the Salami. Would have liked to see a bit more fruit selection

Quintessential efficient small-town hotel with dining options around, but just 20 minutes by bus from Verona city centre and a bus stop next door. Comfortable room had a balcony view of the swollen river Adige just across the street. Excellent and prettily arranged breakfast buffet was a cross between the typically Italian and heartily Central European. Underground garage helped out, but otherwise there were spots along the riverfront before the hotel.

Nothing that would really matter, but the shower is a bit tiny even for my slight build and you need to check the bus time table carefully. The bus service itself is very well organised, though, and Verona stands out as the only city in my Italian experience where you can use an app to buy an actual ticket (Turin has a contactless on-board solution).

Hotel Brennero is a wonderful gem about 15 minutes (by car) from the Porta Nuova train station and about 8-10 minutes by bus or taxi from the city center. Maria Teresa is the manager and part owner of a fine family establishment. She speaks multiple languages and thankfully for our familiy, she speaks great English and Spanish. She is incredibly helpful, and provided us with tips for obtaining a Verona card (for the bus and entrances to different museums and landmarks), and she also recommended lovely restaurants. The room was extremely clean, well decorated, and had a beautiful view. The room was air conditioned, and during this heat wave—it was perfect! So much so it got too cold for us in the room. The outside shutters were perfect to block out the bright morning sun. The hotel also provided free access to wifi. The breakfast was really amazing and delicious. They serve a great spread of options from coffee and juices, yogurts, gluten-free options, eggs, waffles, and sandwiches. Wow! My family and I plan to return to this hotel the next time we are in Verona.
