A charming little hotel with an excellent pool. You can't help but relax. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast has a good selection, the same selection every day. It would be easier to visit with a car, but the bus stop is just outside and we used public transport to visit Sirmione and Verona without too much difficulty though try to avoid peak times in summer. The supermarket is 15 minutes walk away. Compared to other options in the area, it was good value for money

The lunch and evening meals are fine dining and are tasty, but I would have liked some simpler snack options. Some of the rooms have problems/issues that have been solved rather than mended, e.g. a badly fitting toilet seat and a enormous, loud, stand alone air conditioner to replace the original ones. Being in the countryside there are a lot of insects.

The hotel and staff were fantastic. We were in the triple chalet style room in the grounds away from the road so it was extremely quiet & cosy. Room is rustic in style but spotlessly clean and has comfortable beds and aircon. Grounds are gorgeous & we loved the story that Hannibal rested his elephants there when he crossed the Alps (hence the name!). Food in the restaurant is of a great standard and very reasonably priced. Staff were so professional but helpful and friendly too. Cannot fault this place at all but for some the distance from the centre of the town (about 4km) from the town might be an issue. We found the buses which stopped outside the entrance very easy to use and reliable (one across the road also goes to Lake Garda ) A taxi back in the evening was around €15 so excellent value. Cannot fault Parc Elefante at all and will definitely stay here when we next visit beautiful Verona.

Nothing.

The staff adjusted the menu to allow for a additional things for our family including apple juice, chicken nuggets and pancakes. I think it would be great for the hotel to keep these items on the menu for other families. The restaurant for breakfast was right next to the pool which was a welcome feature of the property. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were fully air-conditioned which was needed in summer. The towels were changed daily and the rooms serviced. Each room had a small fridge which was ideally for keeping drinks and snacks cold. The restaurant served tasty food and breakfast each day had a great range of hot and cold options. The staff were amazing and attentive we had a wonderful family holiday.

The hotel was a bit further out from Verona than expected and one of the two rooms was slightly smaller. The hotel is 20 minutes away from Verona by bus that stops outside the hotel or a bit under €20 in a taxi. Room 59 had the spare bed which made the room slightly smaller than room 56 which didn't have the spare bed but had more space and a couch. The bathroom was slightly dated in room 59 while room 56 was very modern. If you are travelling as a young family room 56 would be a better option.

I booked this hotel for a stay at the end of a train journey through Europe. In terms of a 3 star hotel, as I travel on a budget, I had definitely saved the best to last. My room at the top of the tower was spotless, extremely spacious and tastefully fitted. A fridge was also available. There is no lift, but I was given help with my case. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was generous with plenty of choice., from freshly made fruit salad to bacon and scrambled eggs. The pool was a very welcome experience, especially after seeing the sights of Verona and around Lake Garda, about an hour away. The hotel is not centrally located, but there are bus stops nearby within a short two minute walk. The buses on this route go to Verona and in the other direction, Lake Garda. During the high season though, go early, as the buses can get very busy.. I did not dine here but there is dining available most evenings. Check times. And I loved the large garden....oh, and the rabbits!

Some people will dislike the noise of the nearby, busy road. Once my windows and shutters were closed, I can't say I heard the traffic. You will need to be prepared to use the buses or drive a car to get the best out of your stay here. Some parts of the hotel would benefit from a bit of an update, and the lovely garden seems to be used as a bit of dumping ground in places for outdated hotel fixtures

The hotel was in a very beautiful, green, quiet environment, in the outskirts of Verona. The staff was very friendly and helpful, most of them were speaking English quite well. Our cottage was spacious, clean and cozy.

It was quite far away from the city center by public transport, so it took a long time to get there and we also had to walk like 20 mins from the bus stop to get to the hotel. The waterpipes in the bathroom made a constant loud squeaky sound, which was very annoying at night. Beds were a bit narrow and not so comfortable.

The experience is exceptional , 6 little (very well designed and comfortable) houses in the middle of the jungle, elephants trumpets in the night, exceptional fresh made food (the best in Sri Lanka).Staff to ensure you have a great stay. I had amazing massages, steam baths and medical herbs bath. It is my second time there, and since the day I left the first time I wanted to come back with my little son. He also found it amazing, to swim in the swimming pool in the middle of the jungle, taking boat trips in the lake. It is a very peaceful place to get regenerated. The stuff did anything to please my son even changing menu to accommodate his taste. We couldn't wish anything better. In addition to this, it is a family business so we were happy to invest directly into the community

Nothing, everything perfect.

Perfect quier location with great easy bus access to Verona. Lovely, helpful staff. Beautiful room. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Fantastic pool and pretty, spacious gardens. Loads of free sunbeds. Breakfast was fine but we would have preferred a wider choice of cereal and fruit. Evening meal was gorgeous. Thanks Antonio for a wonderful stay. We hope to return soon.

Nothing really

First of all the staff of the hotel were fantastic. Small but very effective team. From lady that cleaned our room, to the restaurant staff and main hosts. Really friendly and accommodating people. We were made to feel at home. Each morning at breakfast the waitress (Unfortunately didn't get her name) remembered which coffee we order. Antonio , was the waiter for evening time, and had good English and took on the role of interpreter , was really outstanding.

Breakfast was from 7.30 to 10.30 (from what I remember), the hot food had gone cold by the time we got there. Suggest to use gas heaters to keep the foot hotter for longer.

If you are after a traditional Italian family run hotel with a pool this hotel is perfect. Our garden bedroom was great, away from the noise of the road and the main hotel and cleaned every day. The buffet style breakfast was plentiful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. The pool was very welcome after a day walking round Verona and the bus services into Verona (bus 33 - 15 mins, 2 euros) and Garda (bus 164 -80 mins 4 euros) are brilliant with bus stops right outside the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant serving lunches and evening meals, good food if a little pricey.

The pool on arrival was not particularly clean however after a couple of days it had been cleaned and was great for swimming and cooling down. The meals in the restaurant were quite expensive compared to restaurants in Verona.

This is a very special place. Gentility, tranquility and understated, gracious professionalism and kindness characteristics that seem to be equally applicable to the other guests in addition to the staff and the property. Set in tranquil parkland but still very assessable for Verona, this is as far from the big chains as you can get. This old family villa is family run and still has the authentic feel of a traditional Italian home. The menu is refined and executed to a very high standard with the same understated professionalism. An unique gem in a mass of ubiquity.

Nothing. We adored it but if you are wedded to Glass and Chrome decor, high energy urban vibe or noisy raucous environment, then this is not for you.
