We were welcomed by the friendly proprietor, who volunteered to show us sights on a Verona map and asked what we would like for breakfast the next day, to be served in our room. It was excellent, especially the fresh fruit salad. The bed was especially comfortable. In the junior suite, we had a kitchenette area with sink and fridge, a living room with television, and spacious modern bathroom. All of this was provided in a very old building in the historic center, walking distance from all we wanted to see.

We had no complaints at all and if we return to Verona, this is where we will stay.

Beautiful, spacious room with a lovely view. Far enough from the centre to not be commercialised but close enough to walk. Independently run so a very personal and unique touch. Breakfast was served to the room each morning which was very relaxing, and stress free. It was the same each morning which didn't offer too much variety but that's my preference and certainly was a more positive experience than a negative. Local attractions and restaurants were all of a high quality. We both really enjoyed our trip, would visit again and stay in the same hotel.

Fabulous location! Right by the bridge and close to multiple fabulous cafés, restaurants, and shops. Wonderful view from the huge windows! The decor and high quality level of furniture and beauty and amenities inside our room are indescribably wonderful. We felt quite spoiled, especially at this price point. We would stay here again and we would recommend to any of our friends or family that they stay here. That’s the highest praise I can think of.

We liked everything about the property.

Everything. Absolutely loved everything about it. The very lovely welcome , the efficiency of the check in, the perfect location and nearby free parking ... The rooms are very spacey and the bed is fantastic. My husband has a bad back and never slept so well. I want to buy this mattress for my home. Because of the super insulated windows there is absolutely NO noise , nor from the street nor from the hallway as the elevator is super silent too. Breakfast is lovely and prepared with love and care. The super fresh & abundant fruit salad is FAB! And then .... the cleanliness ... I am extremely difficult and very critical when it comes to cleanliness, but this is by far the cleanest place I ever stayed in. IMMACULATE. The lady in charge of the cleaning is exceptional. Thank you for this FABULOUS stay. I cannot wait to be back!! Grazie tantissimo ancora per tutto! Veramente eccezionale !!!

Olga told me the building was from the 14th Century. Imagine that, staying in such a luxurious and atmospheric place in Verona. The Veronese and Italian people have contributed so much to Western culture and this hotel captures all this in a single place at a price that never really applied in any former time of this buildings long life. It is great value for a special piece of history. The owners have done a splendid job in modernising the facilities tastefully and effectively. Verona was badly mauled in WW2, with all the bridges being blown up but what we see is as if it never happened.

Spent 2 nights at the Relais Ponte Pietra at the end of a 10-day road trip around Lake Garda - and it could not have been more perfect. Comfortable bed, hot shower, and really efficient air conditioning - exactly what you need as a base from which to explore Verona. But the jewel in its crown is Olga. Her hospitality and customer service is second-to-none, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left; nothing was ever too much trouble (even going to the effort of leaving us breakfast in the minibar as we were checking out early!) Olga, you are a superstar and thank you.

Nothing- fabulous stay!

Incredibly charming and personal place in a quiet yet bustling part of central Verona, within the old town's gates and walls. We were greeted by and taken care off in the best possible way by our host, how was just genuinely hospitable, friendly and helpful in any way. Cosy little room with a genuine Italy feeling to it. Sparkling clean, AC, proper bathroom. And, a breakfast delivered to the room with plenty of choice. Location is great with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, one of the old city gates and bridges right opposite, and only a 20 min walk from the Arena. We not only would but will come back!

Did not matter for us - the room door was a thin sliding door. But despite that, the room and house was quiet, we slept sound, and the host was discrete. Being woken up with a beautiful breakfast delivered to your room is a plus in our book. So, no shared breakfast room or alike in the property.

The housekeeping staff was fabulous. Very friendly, extremely helpful, and right on time with the delicious breakfast served in the room. We arrived before check-in time but were warmly received and promptly attended to by a woman whose job was housekeeping, not front desk. Nonetheless, she got us situated, gave directions to a free carpark just minutes away, and made us feel very welcome. Spacious accommodations in a great location. All at a fair price.

We booked the suite. It was extremely large and well appointed with sofas, a dining table, with 2 chairs, a huge built-in wood cabinet, lots of snacks, books, and breakfast was brought up to our room.

Right out our window is a popular bar. The noise was extremely disturbing and kept us awake until very late. If you are tall watch your head or risk bumping it on low wood beams going to and inside the small bathroom. The separate shower is super small.

The location is excellent on a central but quiet street within easy walking distance of the Arena and other attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and even prepared and served us a very early breakfast so that we could get to the airport early. There is free parking nearby but we chose to use one of the two parking slots in the hotel's garage for an additional €15.

The room had a bath shower en suite, rather than a walk-in shower. In addition, the shower head was loose and could not be tightened sufficiently to hold it upright.
