Sig. Armando is the perfect host, very knowledgeable and super friendly - trust him when he recommends a restaurant or a walk or how to get up Mount Etna. Our room and adjacent bathroom were very comfortable and clean, with proper heating - nice touch because it does get chilly at night on Mount Etna. Both well equipped. The house has a terrace facing the sea (amazing sunrise) and from the main entrance you can see the summit of Etna. Perfect location for hiking holiday and beach. There is also a shared kitchen. Parking is available off-street (it's a private road, there is plenty and it's safe). Walking distance from the town centre - beware it's hilly. Highly recommended.

Armando's home is a perfect base for visiting Etna. It's a short drive away from the Etna South cable car station. The friendly and helpful host gives all information about options to visit the volcano park (without trying to sell any guided tours etc, which is a pleasant surprise at this sort of a location) and other places of interest. The house has a nice view to the sea (and the top of Etna in good weather).

The private bathroom outside of the room is indeed private, but it's actually outside of the room ;) The shared kitchen is also fine when you're the only guests, but if there's another party in the house it could be suboptimal.

Armando is great. Very helpful, friendly. Our room was small, but we just slept there anyway. In addition, there is a kitchen and a terrace. As we were in low season we had the bathroom to ourselves, but I think it would have been shared otherwise. The house is on the upper edge of the village, it has a large terrace with a great view. The room was clean and has heating and air conditioning. Free street parking. Breakfast was good, especially the home baked vegetable scones. Armando makes excellent coffee. We had great homemade yogurt and tangerine jam, about three kinds of sweet cakes, coffee, juice... But we are used to eggs, ham and cheese, we missed that a bit. Armando is happy to help with planning. A very nice stay indeed.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived - Armando already waited and helped us with parking. The room was a little cold (but we had a long flight behind us and were tired, cold was gone by mirning), but super clean, cozy and quiet. Easy to find and the view from the terrace was amazing. Armando was kind enough to give us good advice how to reach Etna and which part of it to see.

Armando's house is on a hill in a quiet street. The room is large, you have a fridge, coffee maker and kettle. You can cook in the shared kitchen. Armando serves breakfast in a large dining room with a terrace overlooking the sea. The homemade jams are great! Armando will recommend beautiful places to visit! Thanks Armando!

Armando warmly welcomed us and guided us with useful information about Mt Etna and where we could go for dinner. Breakfast was sensational...all prepared by Armando whose face lights up when serving guests. It felt like staying with family, and we loved that there were no other guests sharing the bathroom. Great value for money. Thankyou Armando!

Everything went perfectly. Armando's hospitality is outstanding. The breakfast he prepared for us was perfect and entirely homemade. His advice was very helpful for visiting Etna and Taormina. The house is nice and has a beautiful view, especially at sunrise.

Armando is a nice man, he met us and explained everything about the trip to Mt. Etna. The next morning he came to prepare a nice breakfast for us and we enjoyed the view from the balcony in the dining room. The house is very big, we had 2 rooms, 2 baths and the kitchen for our family of 5 people. Inside the rooms there was a heater to warm the air, tea and coffee, even slippers.

Don't remember anything we dislike.

Armando's enormous hospitality and charisma was a true highlight of our stay. His passion for his region and culture was absolutely inspiring and helped us to learn more about Sicily. The house was stylish and well-maintained with a beautuful big terrace (offering a lovely panorama!) that was a wonderful extension of the indoor space, perfect for relaxation. Armando was not only a great host, but also an amazing chef. Breakfast was simply amazing, tasty and fresh, we loved that he used local and seasonal ingredients from his garden to make it. We would highly recommend staying at At Armando's Home to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Sicily. With Armando's hospitality, cosy apartments, and delicious breakfast, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Armando! We wish we could have stayed longer

Armando is a great guy, very welcoming and super friendly. He gave us lots of information about the area. His recommendations where to eat at night were great and we had exceptional dinners thanks to him. Very nice breakfast and you can park the car right in front. Great place to discover the Etna area.
