The hotel is nicely positioned on the road to Etna, on a sloap with great views. It has nice outdoor spaces, a garden, panoramic pool and a gazebo, and decent wi-fi. The breakfast buffet is very nice, and dinner was also great. We didn't have time to use the wellness facilities but they looked good. We were there when Etna erupted and it rained with volcanic ash, so it's close to the volcano but at a safe distance. Also, in the evenings the air became cooler which was great after a hot August day. Rooms are a decent size but vary as far as it goes for balconies, from none to huge.

They hosted private events at the gazebo or the outside restaurant and the car parking became full and it wasn't possible to hang around the pool in the evening. They have very short hours for lunch and dinner (about an hour and a half) so you have to schedule your activities right.

Nice and comfy hotel in a quiet location on the eastern slopes of Etna. Spacious rooms. Nice options in the spa to relax in the evening. Wonderful views from the dining hall and comprehensive breakfast offering.

Dinner was located in the garden in a large event space. While the food was great it was unfortunately not hot enough due to the long transport from the kitchens. the service staff are partially noticeable by the their absence and lack of attention to detail, ie. perhaps the customer could be asked if they’d like a glass of wine with their food/main course. Being asked to pay when we had already paid us an example of lack in communication among the service team and not needed in this establishment. Everything is quite a rounded experience but dinner was the low point of our stay.

Great views from the Terrace at the hotel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety of food to choose from in a buffet style. Good facilities like gym, pools and sauna ect. 5 minute drive to town for dinners and easy access to tours for Mount Etna. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was quite loud at night - we could hear other guests coming and going - sound echoed quite alot. Having said that, it is also probably inconsiderate guests talking loudly and banging their room doors.

The hotel is ideally located near Etna Park, making it a great choice for excursions. Some rooms and the restaurant offer stunning views of the entire coastline. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality products to choose from. Both the heated pool and the spa are very enjoyable, though they can get a bit crowded at times. Additionally, the customer support is very good, with staff being friendly and attentive to guests' needs.

The room, bathroom, and shower are quite small, and unfortunately, the room wasn’t as clean as we expected. Regarding the pool, it’s available for families with kids only from 19:00 to 20:10. Given the pool's small size, it can get crowded during this time. Additionally, the late schedule makes it challenging to use the pool and still have time to dine at a nearby restaurant the same evening. As a result, the only practical dinner option is at the hotel. However, the hotel offers a fixed dinner menu of average quality. The price of the dinner is not displayed, and we were surprised at checkout to find it quite expensive – €45 per adult and €45 per child.

Wellness is strictly limited for kids - only one hour from 7PM and only for the indoor pool. This makes the whole wellness area pointless if you are travelling with kids (cause you are not going to leave them alone in the room waiting). Also, I only found this out after I paid, since this is only stated on the hotel website and not here on booking.com.

We came with our mountain bikes to train around Mount Etna for the whole week. We had a beautiful spot outside the hotel with a patio and a view over Zafferana. At first, we struggled a bit with the four-star atmosphere and the formal dining setup. But by the end of the week, we left as friends, especially with Simona 🤎 at the reception and Salvo 👋🙌 and his older friend 👨‍💼in the restaurant. We love these people. So when we arrived we got to know that we were upgraded..so the room we got was very nice with a balcony also..:😊🙏 The hotel is situated in a very good area,not far from catania,etna land and taormina..apart from that the view is amazing..and the breakfast was extremely good..very large variety. to choose from..👌 Plus they have a private parking area which we could use also...

Only problem was that in the breakfast area there is only one coffee machine...so when there is the rush of people you have to stay in a long que....that sometimes you end up giving up on taking a cup of tea or coffee...I'm my opinion they should or invest in another machine..or make another thermos/jar with only hot water so like that there would be less que..

Nice welcome at reception, which is like the rest of the hotel well maintained and clean. Lift or stairs available to access the floors. Ample parking, both on and off road. Nice view of the nearby town and coast from my room 202. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. Fantastic spa, with lovely helpful young woman at the desk. She helped me with much grace and patience despite my limited Italian . Loved the indoor pool. Breakfast was varied and of very good quality. Beef I had for my evening meal was lovely. As was the glass of red wine.

The vegetables with my evening meal were not to my taste. Waiter could have been a little friendlier. Even though I arrived after check in time my room was not ready. Only had to wait 10 minutes, but thought it should have been ready.
