Pipo and his wife received us with the warmest of welcomes and his own self made Limoncello. He was extremely courteous and even though his English, just like my Italian, wasn’t the best, he always took his time to have the sweetest conversations with us. The breakfast each morning was incredible and if Pipo realised there was something specific you liked, he’d ensure it’s always there from the next morning on. Can highly recommend staying here. It’s located a super calm village area with some of the nicest family owned restaurants (the food never disappointed) and it’s a short trip to Taormina, Syracuse and the Etna, so lots to see.

We had a fantastic stay at B&B Villa Dagala! The room was simple but super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the amazing breakfast – a delicious mix of sweet and savoury options, all beautifully presented. The fresh tomatoes from the host’s garden were incredible! A special thank you to Pipo and his lovely wife, who were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. When we unfortunately got a flat tire, they immediately helped us arrange tyre service and made everything so much easier. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home.

Fantastic! Booking this accommodation was the best decision we made. Beautiful garden full of flowers, a lemon tree, and lovely little details — not to mention the stunning sea view! The hosts were incredibly kind. They were warm and affectionate toward our little girl, who absolutely adored them. They didn’t speak English, but we were still able to communicate everything easily — they were very helpful and friendly. They even lent us a sun umbrella for our daughter when we went to the beach. The accommodation is located between Taormina and Catania, easily accessible by car. We were traveling with a child, so we really appreciated the quiet surroundings — we could sleep peacefully through the night. Breakfast was perfect, and we could even choose between sweet and savory options. There were always multiple choices, and it was more than enough to feel full. We’re so happy we found this place. If you are looking for a typical Sicilian place to stay in the countryside, this is the place! Here you can enjoy a big garden, a swimming pool, fruits and vines from the garden. A peaceful and very beautiful place. Pipo and his wife are super welcoming and prepare good breakfasts every morning (very generous). The rooms are cleaned every day and super clean. You need a car to stay here, but the house is located 30 minutes away from Catania, Taormina, and Etna, which was perfect for us (free parking available). We recommend Pipo's house!!

We are very happy with our stay in Villa Dagala! First, we were kindly welcomed by the hosts with homemade Limoncello and biscuits, they have been very kind and lovely to us! We had a great room with amazing views from the balcony and window - you see the gardens, the vineyards, the sea! In the back of the house you can find the garden with lemon trees and the pool that works during the summer, you can also play volleyball or football, and see the Etna volcano!!! The location is in a small city close to Catania, there were also great restaurants around! Before we went to bed we were asked if we wanted salty or sweet breakfast, so we chose salty. The night was very quiet, the room was clean, bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed, there was a heater and air conditioning ! In the morning we have received the most wonderful bio breakfast - bruschetta with tomatoes, cheeses, homemade red-orange juice, olives from the garden, ham, bread, omelette, youghurt, jams and even Nutella! After breakfast we even tried the homemade wine by the host - what an amazing stay, we felt like we visited our own grandparents and we felt at home! !!You need to know that when you arrive, the street to the house is closed by a gate - the hosts need to open the gate for you, you need to call them and ask in Italian to have them open the door and park in their cute parking! :)

We liked everything, only you should know that the bed can be a bit too short for people over 185cm. And at the moment of our stay there was a disruption of the Wifi but in the end we enjoyed that we had some off-online time!

We had the best time feeling at home thanks to Pipo and his wife. This is a charming location, surrounded by vineyards with such a stunning view. Breakfasts were unbelievable, each morning was fresh “cornetto” and tomatoes and fruits from the garden. They took really good care of us we are very grateful.

The only thing is we couldn’t have access to the pool which was something we were really looking forward to but as they explained us, with the eruption of the Mont Etna the pool was no usable full of dark sands.

Such a great stay! Pippo and Anna are the nicest hosts. We were welcomed with homemade limoncello and strawberries and got some great food recommendations around the BnB. Pippo really made us feel at home, lending us towels and beach umbrella (a life saver for the italian sun) and he makes THE BEST breakfast we had during our whole trip! The house and property are clearly well taken care of, it was a pleasure to stay there! Grazie mille!

Pippo (the owner) is a lovely man who welcomed us with home made limoncello and made sure everything was ok for us. The villa has a lovely view towards the sea and several green spaces for relaxing and eating outside. The hammocks and the sunbeds are a great add that allows you to enjoy leisure time while getting some fresh air under the trees. The breakfast is simple but good (with a big size croissant, jams, Nutella l, caffelatte, and sweet and fresh fruit). Full size toiletries and several towels. The rooms are spacious and have balconies with different views. Decorations around the villa are also well thought for a lovely rustico. At night it was quiet for a great sleep.

Everything was perfect, but the swimming pool could have added something. The pool is there but unfortunately couldn't be used for understandable reasons. It would be better to have your own car because of the position in a calm area, but Pippo helped us by giving us a reasonably-priced ride. There was water drip from the A/C that woke us up at night but we informed Pippo who is going to fix it.

The facility exceeded our expectations! Amazing view on the coast and the etna, nice garden and pool, very rich breakfast, very kind host

Rooms are acustically not very isolated.
