Lovely hotel. Truly beautiful gardens and pool area. Very spacious rooms, not luxurious but nicely decorated and very well equipped including kitchenette with refrigerator and basic cooking facilities. Great AC. Great WiFi. Lovely staff who speak good English and are friendly and helpful. Set in a quiet area halfway up the hillside between the beach below and the town above. You can reach both via steps… but there’s a lot of them! Fine if you’re fit and enjoy walking.

Would have been nice if the hotel offered the sale of drinks and snacks during the daytime and/or evening.

Staff were great and friendly with lots of tips, advice and assistance plus able to purchase beer, wine, water and some snacks at the front desk. Rooms are big, nice kitchenette, plenty of room with great views and relaxing pool area.

No TV or screen to connect a device when chilling in the morning or night - European AC limits kept the room a bit warmer than we'd like but that's many places there. It's Taormina so you either stay up top or at the bottom - this is a great place in between but did require extensive walking downhill or uphill to visit the beaches or the old city or take taxis so something to consider.

This is an absolutely beautiful spot with holiday apartments / villas a short way up the hill from the beach and a short way down the hill from the town of Taormina. From here you have the breeze, a beautiful view over the sea, beaches islands and stunning landscape. The villas and pool are beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. It’s easy to get down to the beach and up to the town from here. I recommend getting a scooter (125cc bike) - the staff can help doing this - and exploring the town and castelmola in the evenings.

You cannot beat this view❤️ The apartment with seaview and terrace is spectacular. And yes be prepared to hike/ walk/ climb 350 stairs down to the beach and closest restaurants and up to the city centre and ancient theatre. We loved it and were prepared. Taormina itself is wonderful. In May it was already a bit crowded. I guess high season can be a challenge with crowds and hot weather. Huge advantage is a parking space close to the property. We could not move the car while exploring the city and have some extra fitness all the way which we loved. Wonderful time in this serene location.

The smell in the bathroom from the pipes was intense at times.

Location is perfectly between the town of Taormina and the beaches, mini markets. If you’re up for walking, it’s a great location. The stairs up are quite brutal however. The staff is great. This is a family owned hotel and it is so charming to know that everything has been curated by a family that cares.

Breakfast price is a little steep for what you receive. Because of the amount of walking, it would be great if the property offered sandwiches, pizzas, fruit, etc. throughout the day, would be very helpful for those lazy days. Pool accommodations. For most people, if you did not bring your own towel, these needed to be rented. It would be great if this was included in the stay.

Breathtaking View from the room. the bed was super comfortable, the whole area was perfectly neat and organised around the apartments (all the flowers and bushes and the pool). We felt heavenly really.

*The location is on top of Taormina, which increases your travel time to other part of Sicily for another 30 minutes. *We would prefer if the cleaning leady came every day, not every other day. *We were missing some hygiene products in the bathroom. Once we ran out of them, they were not replaced.

Absolutely stunning view of Isola Bella. We had complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room and it was genuinely stunning.

Nothing. Bedding comfortable. Location superb. The steps are mentioned in multiple reviews but honestly, that’s just Italy. If you’re able bodied, absolutely recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place in Sicily. The location was absolutely dreamy, and the view was simply breathtaking. The pool was large, clean, and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was delightful every morning, with a great variety and quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. While the rooms were a bit small, they were perfectly fine and very clean. Overall, everything was spotless and well maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This is more about managing expectations than dislike. The property is a residenza and that means doing some of your own cleaning up like emptying bins and tidying the kitchen upon departure. You will not find water, coffee or tea sachets etc in the rooms. You can however buy water and drinks and have coffee made at reception for a fee. If you want to self- cater there is a good Deco supermarket near the Porta Catania. I can confirm there are lots of stairs to the beach and lots to the old town. Again, not a deal breaker - just be aware.

Clean, comfortable property with a fantastic pool, amazing views and lovely garden with lots of interesting cacti. Very accommodating when we had to check in later than anticipated after reception was closed

Breakfast - lovely views from the terrace but the selection was underwhelming so we only had it the first day. Rooms a little basic (the only sharp knife was a bread knife) but comfortable enough for us. Some of the information needs updating eg we thought reception was closed at lunchtime as that’s what the notice said but it wasn’t (we stayed in June). Also we hadn’t realised the cleaner would come in halfway through our week-long stay. While this was very welcome it would have been good to know in advance so we could have tidied up first!
