We had a great stay at the hotel, staff were very pleasant. The pool was very quiet and always easy to get a sun bed. The pool guy was very friendly and lovely to deal with. The room 135 had a great shower and bathroom and spacious balcony.

Breakfast was disappointing, not much hot food and there was only a selection other 2 hot things. We only went 3 days out of 10 for this reason. Although the pool was quiet and always easy to get beds, the amenities felt tired. The sun visors on the sunbeds kept falling on us and during windy days the parasols could not go up and we were sunburnt because of this.

A beautiful, classically Italian hotel. We enjoyed our stay here tremendously, we stayed for 9 nights whilst we holidayed in Taormina. The hotel was beautifully presented, immaculately clean with lovely maids, we were pleased with our room, a king room without a view, it had everything we needed including a private terrace. The pool area was great with amazing views and a bar serving drinks and light snacks, all reasonably priced. The waiters/waitresses and front desk staff were lovely, really friendly and really helpful - making calls for me to help organise trips and moped hire. I didn’t get all names but Fablola was very personable and friendly with us. The location was perfect too, a short walk into the town centre, close enough but far away enough too. A small gelato tub at the end of the Corso Umberto would be just about finished when we got back. If we ever go back to Taormina (we hope to) we will definitely stay here. Very sad to leave!

I have no issues with this hotel at all. I read all details before arriving and it suited us perfectly.

Great location, fabulous views from the terraces, swimming pool and dining area. Only a few hundred metres from the main bus station and cable car, 10 minute walk into town. Despite being so close to a busy road there was no traffic noise (the hotel is built below road level). Staff are friendly and helpful and keep the hotel very clean. Good choice of food for breakfast which is self service, hot drinks are brought to your table by staff. We stayed at Hotel Sirius at the end of May so there was plenty of space around the pool. Towels for sunbeds were provided and there is a pool bar.. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided in the room.

The hotel is built into the hillside, therefore there are a lot of steps to the hotel and inside. There is a lift to the bedrooms. It would not be suitable for people with mobility issues or those who could not manage a very steep incline. Our room was at the back of the hotel so we had no view except that of a rock face. I did find that our room was slightly on the small side with limited space for storing clothes, perhaps we take too many clothes!

I'm inlove with this hotel! I think hotel rooms in normal not best, but pool and view is everything why everyone should stay at this hotel. I think this hotel has one of the best views in Taormina. It is next to the cable cars so u can go to Mazzaro or Isola bella very easy. It's in the city center, every shop, restaurant are nearby. I'm inlove with hotel's staff too. They all were very cute and kind, especially boy who works at swimming pool bar. He was always very kind and made us veryyy delicious coffee and cocktails. Pizza was very yummy too. If u want to have perfect, peaceful holidays u should stay here.

Breakfast was okay, but i think it can be better. Not big choice of meat and vegetables.

The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was amazing as well. We were a group of four and stayed in a connected room. We had a great view, two balconies, two bathrooms. It was perfect. The staff was super helpful and nice. The girls in the reception gave great tips. The location of the hotel is stunning. Very easy walk to town and just beside the cable car to go down to Isola Bella. The hotel can book for you to go to a beach club in Mazzaro, 16euros per person and was super worth it, including sun beds and transfer to the beach. Dinner at the hotel was also great. Make sure you book parking as it is very small.

The location of the hotel, the staff, the pool area & breakfast were all amazing. Our room was small, but then we only paid for the basic room as staying a few nights only. The walk to old town Taormina was approx 5-10mins depending on how fit you are. The teatro Antico was worth the visit alone. The cable car down to the beaches is a short walk, but these were busy and the pool calmer with outstanding views of the beaches below. We would definitely stay again and wish we had spent another day or two.

We would stay in a larger room next time. If you prefer modern hotels or minimalist design , this is not for you. This was not necessarily to our design tastes, however the facilities, position and staff far exceeded our expectations.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff There are very few hotels that would open the breakfast room at 4.30am and make you cappucinos and a continental breakfast before an early morning flight! The staff in Sirius did this no problem and it was very much appreciated! The hotel is very well situation with stunning views over Taormina, a short walk (but away from the crowds) of the Corso Umberto and even closer to the cable car that takes you down to the beach. A classic Italian hotel, lovely pool, spotlessly clean, great breakfast.

The hotel was lovely and charming. Bathrooms have been refurbished. Location is good - 8min walk to center. Breakfast was wonderful.

The parking was a nightmare! We messaged ahead to try to reserve parking at the hotel but it was fully booked. We were told that we would be directed to alternate parking upon arrival. The staff member assisting with our luggage directed us to a private parking lot that cost EUR30 per day. We realized later that this was 3x the price of a public parking garage that was just a few minutes further away so felt very disappointed and exploited. A simple message summarizing the parking options available (cost and distance from hotel) would have been much appreciated.

This is lovely older hotel with exceptional views and lovely well maintained and unexpectedly large rooms. We had a garden terrace with a view of the coastline that was stunning. The hotel is built, as are many in Taormina clinging to the side of a steep slope with rooms and terraces vertically aligned and next to each other. It has classic old Italian furnishings, and the staff was gracious and helpful.and the breakfast buffet delicious and varied. There are a myriad of hotels to choose from in Taormina, at different price point, this was my first visit but I felt the Hotel Sirius served us well in many ways at a very reasonable price. It is steps away from the gondola to the beach and just a few minutes further from the old town and the bus station where we caught a bus to Castelmoro(which is definitely worth a visit. The already breathtaking views are even more extraordinary up there and the old city is magical). Having just had this one experience here it did seem like the Hotel Sirius gave great value for the money, we had to pay an extra 20 Euro for parking but given how scarce it is that didn't seem unreasonable. Taormina is a place where one could obviously spend a fortune on a hotel but I felt as if we had many of the pleasures of the town, the wild views, easy access down to the beach or into town, and elegant comfortable accomadations the without the exorbitant prices.

It does not face toward the volcano nut up the coast in other direction, that was a minor disappointing the view nonetheless are gobsmackingly lovely.Driving into Taormina is not for the frail of heart The hairpin turns are no joke. I'm a reasonable confident driver and felt comfortable driving in most of Italy but climbing the hill to Taormina in a car tested my mettle, so much so that I didn't even attempt to drive to Castlemoro but tool the bus. The driveway itself down to hotel is narrow and twisty and while I'm sure perfectly safe was made me grip the steering wheel a little tighter than normal. It does on the hand have the most breathtaking view that people would stop to take selfies at the entrance to the hotel.

Great location - easy to walk into Taormina - although the drive is very steep. Our rooms were great. Good breakfast. Pool area very nice, good little snack bar. Staff excellent

As the hotel was full - I wasn’t able to keep a room for a late checkout. Although I could use the pool - the shower & toilet facilities were not great. I feel this could be updated so it’s more user friendly. Better shower cubicles & another toilet.
