We recently stayed at the San Pietro Hotel in Sicily, and what an exceptional experience. The room was perfect, boasting a breathtaking views from our beautiful balcony. The hotel had a recent upgrade and the interiors in all areas were absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of options. Although the hotel is located away from the city center via a long windy road leading to , this added to the charm, and the complimentary private shuttle made transportation easy. Must give a special mention to the wonderful Virginia, the guest service manager, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and the best staff member we’ve ever encountered. Highly recommended San Pietro

Exceptional hotel and most wonderful staff. We were upgraded to a seaview suite and it was absolutely stunning. The hotel has been recently renovated so all the rooms are new and feel fresh, modern with authentic decor. The pool is really nice, with a life guard during the day which is reassuring with kids. Lots of variety and options at breakfast . Amazing coffee too! . The concierge is available on WhatsApp which was so convenient. They helped us book a half day excursion to Etna (recommended!) and amazing restaurants. Can't recommend enough!

Gym was a bit small but still enough of you needed to train, but the spa was beautiful

The hotel has a great location over looking the sea,the staff were very nice, rooms were lovely but i would expect this any way at the price they are charging.The have a shuttle service to the town which is very good.

The only thing i did not like was when at breakfast i asked for some fresh pineapple and the lady who was seeing was very rude and told me to have what was left in the fruit container.I would expect a 5 star hotel to keep replenishing all the food on the breakfast service.I did not want to complain because i wanted to enjoy my holiday.But any way if the manager asked her or his breakfast staff the lady concerned will know what i mean its a shame but its true. Thank you.

Cocktails were horrendously expensive and food recommendations were not great, but we didn’t have a good meal in Sicily

Everything about this hotel is amazing. First off, the staff were wonderful! Mima at the check-in desk was extremely accommodating and upgraded me to a beautiful room, as she was also accommodating another family with adjoining rooms. I was happy to oblige. The room was gorgeous. Classic Italian/Sicilian style with a magnificent balcony that overlooked the pool and sea. The breakfast was served outside overlooking the sea, and it was delicious. The waitstaff had already memorized my two cappuccino order with almond milk. The concierge, Julia and Maria took great care of me. They arranged reservations, a boat, shuttles, taxis, and the beach club. My entire stay was spectacular and I struggled to leave. Even the gym was perfect. It is a little lower than town so you either have to shuttle, taxi, or walk to town. The town is alive until late at night. I cannot stress how perfect this hotel is in every way. You must go!!!!

We loved everything of it. It has probably been the best holiday experience in many 30 years travelling. Location, Sea View, Room, Food, Restaurant… Everything. But the most important has been the service: VIRGINIA (incredible host one of the best), Micaela (outstanding help and support), Andrea at reception, Luigi at Batu Restaurant (extraordinary service - above and beyond) and the super Chef Luca and Bar Expert Marco… But also Roberta, Danielle, Yelitza, Angela, Rafael… OUTSTANDING!

Only thing: The facade needs a renovation that is coming next year and the Gym needs a couple of more training machines (running, biking…)

An absolutely incredible hotel. Perfect location, away from the main hustle and bustle of Taormina centre but not super far out. Easily walkable (albeit up a hill!) although the hotel offers a free shuttle every evening (just book in advance). The bedrooms were beautiful and so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and so much choice. Also loved the late night bar, the cocktail menu was fabulous! Overall a brilliant experience, would definitely come back!

Pool area could do with a bit of TLC We hired a car and although there is parking at the hotel, we got charged for it! They don't make it super clear in the T&Cs.

The room was large and comfortable with a fabulous balcony and view of the sea. The staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was amazing! The location was perfect - just a short walk (up a nearby staircase and through a stunning communal garden) to the main street of Taormina and the beautiful greek theatre.

The pool was a great size and had a fantastic view, but it was not available for early morning swimming (laps) or beyond 6pm. It was common to get back from a long and hot afternoon and be refused access to the pool for a cool down dip. As it is daylight (and hot) for another 2-3hrs, this seemed a shame - the pool was a big reason for booking the hotel in summer.

Beautiful, newly renovated hotel in a great location! We loved our 4 days in Taormina. Our room was spacious with all the necessary amenities! We had a really nice sized balcony with amazing views of the Ionian Sea. But what makes this hotel amazing is the Staff! Truly the kindest, most welcoming hosts we ever had! Shout out to Virginia at the front desk for making us feel so welcomed and her exceptional work ethic! Breakfast in the gorgeous terrace was great! The shuttle between the hotel and Taormina was a lifesaver! Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. Can’t wait till we come back.

The entire experience was wonderful. From check in at reception breakfast lunch dinner cocktails our room the view, but mostly the exceptional service. I had injured my back prior to checking into the hotel and the staff accommodated us. My gratitude goes out to Virginia at reception who arranged for therapeutic massages. The masseuse Alana was amazing. They even arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel to assist in my recovery
