The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location — close to everything and with stunning views. However, we stayed in one of the villas that is separated from the main building, and unfortunately, accessing the main hotel facilities wasn’t very easy or comfortable. You need to walk along the main road to get there, which doesn’t feel very convenient. It would be great if there were a more comfortable or private way to access the main area.

All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Location was good. Easy to walk into Taormina. We had two excellent dinners in the lovely rooftop restaurant. Breakfast also very good with lots of choice. We liked the location of our garden suite with easy access to the garden and pool with a nice terrace and outdoor seating.

The bedroom and bathroom of our garden suite 22 were nice but the living area was very dark, tired looking and felt very depressing with an old sofa and inadequate lighting. Luckily we could open the windows during the day to bring in some light. Would recommend putting in some more lighting to brighten up the room and maybe time to change that old sofa! The bathroom also was windowless and didn’t seem to have a fan.

The location and size of the property. The style, architecture. It’s just beautiful villa situated in the center of Taormina but cause well fenced letting dwellers staying intimate and comfortable.

I would say, the villa needs being a bit refreshed. For instance some showers didn’t work, some sockets or some lightings didn’t work. Nothing critical but in such price should have been fixed. Quite noisy evenings due the loud music from the restaurant in the direct neighborhood. The music were stopping long after midnight.

Extremely attentive staff. Incredible views from a fabulous location. Although only steps from the activities in Taormina, our terrace was so quiet and peaceful with only the sounds of songbirds and nature. I considered foregoing the rest of my Sicily tour and staying there! However, our suite was not available for me to do that. 🙂

good location towards the city; while 70ies style, well renovated with latest appliances; free mini bar, coffee machine etc added to the overall “being looked after” feel, markedly different from many rip off hotels in Taormina; cute balcony with awesome views; good restaurant with even better 360 views; excellent staff, competent, helpful, good English and very nice.

the overall style was that of the entire city of Taormina- outdated 70ies Italian kitsch. however, as the hotel had definitely done a good job renovating and modernizing, that turned into a real attraction. overall, still very expensive for what it was, however after staying in some other places in the city it was relatively good value for money

Beautiful hotel that is so well located in Taormina with very good facilities such as a really nice pool and a lovely top floor restaurant. The staff were very attentive without being in your way. Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable too

As if you are entering a beautifully written fairytale of emotional enchantment! The location is on point… beach , mountain, city center, are simply a short promenade within a charming landscape. The design of the hotel is a collection of vivid colorful postcards… that of a retro nostalgia waltzing with a modern lifestyle… I m an interior architect after all :) The service is impeccable, reflecting old school luxurious hospitality within a contemporary approach. If you ever got the chance to meet the owners especially Mrs.Rosalia, you will get to know the beautiful spirit that drives this kind of hospitality concepts.

Loved villa Carlotta's apartment. All the service of a great hotel, all the space of self catering. Amazing views over the bay. Pretty pool and garden. Large and comfortable beds. Quiet but still pretty central in beautiful Taormina. Great find

The Teatro Greco Historic House is a truly exceptional property - I only say that I would not recommend it for a romantic stay as it is simply vast and would be overkill for a couple. Although the photos on the website and on booking.com are good, they don't quite convey the scale. It is beautifully laid out, with everything we needed and lots more. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Cleaning service was superb. There is excellent outside space, and plenty of room inside and out for a party that want to spend time together or to find their own space. All Hotel Villa Carlotta staff we met were very keen to assist wherever it was possible, nothing was too much trouble.
