Maison Blanche was beautiful with a spectacular ocean view! The house is very lovely and the hosts were extremely friendly, warm and helpful. They went above and beyond in every way to make us feel at home and enjoy our stay. Breakfast was really fantastic with so many options and everything was fresh, homemade and delicious. We enjoyed it so much!

Not really a negative but the house isn't near other restaurants, hotels or shops, so just be aware that you will need transportation. The house is about half way between beach and town which really was perfect, but you need to take taxis, the bus which stops right near house, or walk. We did a lot of walking the first day but then discovered how easy the bus was to take up or down the hill. It was actually quite nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the town.

Beautiful location, exceptional unusual building with very comfortable facilities and amazing views from bedroom and communal areas. Excellent breakfast included. Giovanna is a lovely host who made great recommendations for dinner and made restaurant reservations for us. She also organised transfer to beach lido and accommodated our late evening flight. All with lots of smiles!

It is halfway up the hill to Taormina and the walking was a little hard in 35 degrees - however the bus stops right outside Maison Blanche and takes you up to centre of town in 5 minutes. Taxi back down is reasonable.

From the very first moment, the hosts were simply outstanding, so warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They immediately made us feel at home, helped us reserve dinner, and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room was spacious and beautiful, with an unforgettable view that words can hardly describe. Breakfast was a true highlight, fresh, delicious, and served with such polite and attentive service from the entire team. And once again, I must say: the hosts were extraordinary. They made our stay truly special, and we would return in a heartbeat.

Wow. What can I say!! Maison Blanche was a top notch luxury experience. Giovanna and I have communicated since I made these reservations. My friend and her husband and I had a wonderful experience. Giovanna and her husband have a beautiful b&b with all the luxuries you can ask for. They also made sure we had transportation to and from the Villa from the airport. The villa has amazing views from every room with blackout shades if you like to sleep with the shades down. Each room has the best air conditioning with solid walls where you do not hear anyone in the house from your room. This was a huge plus! The breakfast was incredible with lovely pastries to eggs and cereal and lots of fruit with ham and cheese. Nothing was left out. The Villa is immaculate and you can see why people love coming there yearly. Nothing was left out. All lovely bathroom products with robes and slippers were in your room if you needed them. We never needed to make reservations. Giovanna took care of everything for us. It was a plus 10 experience and we already booked again for next year. It was such a wonderful way to end our vacation in Sicily. Taormina also is spectacular.

Magical stay at Maison Blanche. It’s a large house sitting on the rocks providing amazing views and an excellent location for your stay. The house is decorated with very good taste. Giovanna and her staff are very friendly and want you to have a relaxing and comfortable time. We loved that we just parked the car there and forgot about it during our stay. The breakfast was plentiful and had many options for those who need it. We stayed in a room for two but were able to fit an extra bed for our daughter who decided to join is in the last minute. The room faced the back of the house but had a private terrace to enjoy the views. Giovanna can coordinate transportation to the Lido on the beach and it’s worth it. Can’t say enough about Maison Blanche except I can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location, if I could give 11 out of 10 I would. The whole experience at Maison Blanche was exceptional with personalised service from Giovanna being absolutely faultless. She is so friendly and helpful and really would do anything for you to make your stay special. Our room overlooking Isola Bella was lovely, very clean and tidy, everything we needed. As for breakfast each day - fantastic!! It was also very peaceful and private, absolutely perfect location in a beautiful part of Sicily. We loved it and will definitely return. Thank you Giovanna!

To get to the upper town you have to go up steep crumbling steps. A problem if you want a drink with dinner!

We felt very welcome, rather as guests than paying customers. Giovanna is a fantastic host, her staff at breakfast and at room is very cordial as well. Breakfast was according to personal wishes, no lack of anything. View is great, our terrace had comfy lounge furniture, both to sit and lay down. Plenty of space in the room with a walk-in wardrobe, bathroom plenty of space and with window and daylight. The room has proper electrical blinds to keep it dark if you want to have a lie-in. On the other hand, you can bring a tripod and take a nice sunrise video (I took a great time lapse sunrise from 5:45 to 6:00, then went back inside, closed the blinds and went back to bed again). Giovanna‘s restaurant recommendations were very good and she made reservations, which made the stay even more comfortable. Taormina is a 15 minutes‘ walk uphill, take your phone or a torch for the way back on the steps in the dark. Parking for our rental SUV was included, cars were shifted around as required, no issues at all. We highly recommend this place and thank Giovanna for her hospitality. Every morning we were given a great spread of food. Fruit, cakes, eggs, ham, cheese. There were pastries, breads and jams as well and very nice coffee. If we wanted to go somewhere, the hosts always helped us organise the trips, which made it so much easier for us.

I think the only thing I would have liked that we didn't have was a swimming pool. Having said that, we were out and about a lot and the beaches around Taormina are so amazing that we spent a lot of our time there anyway and probably preferred that to a pool.

The thing I liked best were the host and hostess! They were so kind and friendly and generous. The breakfasts there were extraordinary - I could never eat all the food that was prepared for me! The view from my room was spectacular - I actually had two balconies off the two sides of my corner room. One view was of Mt. Etna and the upper part of Taormina. The other view was off the sea and the little island down in Lower Taormina. The wrap-around balcony was enormous with deck chairs on it and I just wanted to sit in them all day and enjoy the sunshine and the views. But I also walked down into Lower Taormina and then took the tram up to Upper Taormina. The hotel/home is well-located (for me) in between upper and lower Taormina, and I also hiked up the hill (though that was hot and sweaty) into the town to explore the streets, the Greek theatre and to enjoy the delicious food. The host and hostess also helped me with booking a tour of Etna one day; and they came to welcome me when I arrived and to see me off when I left. They were like family! This stay ranks as one of the best places I've stayed in my life....and that's saying something!
