We had a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly accomodating and arranged for us to have a late check out with no additional charge. We stayed in the bungalows which were small but well designed and didnt feel cramped. The reception staff were great and helped organise some wonderful tours to Mount Etna and and the surrounding cities of Syracuse and Noto which I would highly recommend. My only ciriticism was the price of the drinks in the hotel which were excessive, even by London standards.

The property is ok, nice location but most of Taormina is very nice anyways. The property is clean, the staff are very friendly. Thank to Mr. Daniele Agati our stay was very good. 👍

The booking was difficult to arrange and to change the attitude of the front desk and reservation was not nice. We had flight cancellations and they were not cooperative. But after we met Mr. Daniele Agati things changed drastically to very pleasant and our stay becomes comfortable.

Let’s start with the staff;all wonderful: friendly and helpful. Chiara, Mattia, Irene, Hamza, Daniella were the ones we met most but every single member of staff helped make our time in Taormina wonderful. The beach with its view of, and proximity to, Isola Bella became our home for the week. Taormina itself was beautiful. My wife enjoyed two wonderful massages, she says. The gardens are well kept and the apartment, and hotel in general, was spotless. A superb breakfast.

Would have enjoyed better tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Good selection at breakfast. A self serve coffee machine would be nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. As the cable car wasn’t working, shuttle service by the hotel would have been nice.

Small room. No arm chair. No coffee machine. Gym very disappointing. Description of hotel didn’t make it clear that to go anywhere from the hotel involves lots of walking up steps. Even the paths within the property are uneven. Not a good place for anyone with mobility issues.

I especially like the warm and friendly staff from the front desk people to those that worked in the restaurants. They see that all your needs are met and you get to where you want to go. The location is the best in Taormina. You are on the beach and a short walk to the cable cars that take you to Taormina center. The view is absolutely stunning! One of the most spectacular I have seen in all my travels.. very romantic. The breakfast is bountiful and has choices for whatever your dietary requirements are. Plus the view is right on the water. You can walk to Isola Bella which offers a great view. We are looking forward to coming back.

A magical experience from the first moment!!!Absolutely gorgeous property right on the beach with stunning view of Isola Bella. Front desk staff personnel were very personable & helpful with quick & efficient check in protocol. City map was provided upon check in to the property. Expedient assistance with the multitude of luggage bags delivered directly to the front door of our hotel room. Room was clean and spotless including the bathroom. Maid service was fantastic & always had additional items of whatever we requested delivered promptly. Breakfast was outstanding including Prosecco to make mimosas if so desired. The people working in the breakfast room were exceptional. Whatever we wanted, all we had to do was ask & we received it immediately. Also check out completed quickly, & we received much needed help with the bags back to the car as well. Lastly and very importantly, the cable car to the town of Taormina is less than a ten minute walk from the hotel. This was our first visit to Taormina, & I checked dozens and dozens of hotels, & really wanted to pick the right spot and succeeded. Absolutely glorious stay at this property!!! We will be back next year for another stay…

Nothing to not like. This place is Heaven on Earth!!!

Much. The site gives you a panoramic view of the beach. A bungalow gives you a real feeling of privacy. The whirlpool is a very nice thing. The staff does literally everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They are exceptionally friendly and help you with everything imaginable. There is a Gym in the hotel what is really great. Breakfast is delicious. Housekeeping comes twice per day, is attentive and discrete

In total the stay was very good. To be properly understood: If the hotel had cost half the price, i would have been totally positive. But the room comes over 500Eur / night and here is the problem. The price-performance ratio is simply not good enough. Sure, you pay extra for the fabulous site, Bella-Isloa, Taormina is like Monaco. But the things get out of hand pretty much. The bungalow is a little bit dark and narrow. The equipment is okay but far from exclusive. No second bathroom sink, no small shower-head, no automatic-lower system in the toilet, no anti-glare at the beach-lounger. The cosmetic mirror couldn’t be locked so it was dangling around. Small things for their own but noticeable in total

We had a wonderful stay in Isola Bella, Sicily. The location is truly exceptional — right on a beautiful pebble beach with private sunbeds and crystal-clear water. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with tips for day trips or quick to assist with anything we needed. The food was excellent, fresh and full of flavor. All in all, a fantastic experience — and highly recommended for those who are willing to spend a bit more for a truly special place.

Very beautiful location, spectacular view from the hotel and our room ( you can recognise some sides from the second season of “White Lotus “ series) , excellent service and very friendly staff. The lunch on the beach was amazing ( especially mussels and spaghetti vongole). The sunbeds are in the first row by the sea which are included in the room ( Deluxe double room with sea view) always available you don’t have to book it. We absolutely loved our breakfasts with a glass of Prosecco. 10-15 min taxi ride to the old town. We are going to miss this place!

We had a wonderful stay at La Plage Resort Taormina. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, making our visit very comfortable and pleasant. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and we appreciated the attentiveness and professionalism of the entire team. The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the beach and local attractions. It truly adds to the charm and appeal of the resort.

While the cleanliness could have been improved slightly, it did not significantly impact our overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Plage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway in Taormina.
