Spacious apartment. Two bathrooms. All furnishings and fittings are top standard. It has a sea view and access to the beach just across the road. There are small grocery shops nearby and a little souvenir and drinks shop directly underneath. It is also a short distance to the funicular which carries you from the cost up to the amazing town of Taormina.

The only reason I don't give it a perfect score for location is that the roadway is very congested all day and noisy from early morning. That said, it's a small quibble compared to the all round excellence of this property.

We LOVED the location. Incredible value and well equipped apartment. The views were also super . Close to all the beaches and transit. the brand new elevator was a blessing after climbing stairs to Taormina every day. Giuseppe was a great communicator. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of waves every note. Even though we were there during the low season, there were plenty of restaurants and local markets available within a few hundred feet. Groceries and made to order sandwiches. The step/climb to Taormina is right outside the entrance to the hotel . Gondola down “for maintenance” but likely closed for the slow season. Buses were readily available at the transit center next to gondola. Easy 2 euro bus ride from the train station.

The apartment we stayed in is very nice! The view from the balcony is exceptional — it’s worth overlooking some small details that might not be perfect. It’s very close to the Funivia and the bus stop, and it’s right next to two beautiful beaches: Isola Bella and Mazzarò. The apartment is equipped with absolutely everything you need for a comfortable vacation — nothing was missing. This is a great place to stay, and if we visit Taormina again, we would definitely choose Tovimar once more. Mr. Giuseppe was very kind and polite.

The location is incredible with sea views and an adorable private balcony for us to enjoy. The apartments size was perfect for the 3 of us, each having our own comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, a nice kitchen and laundry facilities. The photos don’t do this place justice and our room was clearly renovated so it was very clean and modern! Super close to the beautiful beaches for swimming, a grocery store and either the stairs or the cable car to the top of Taormina. Giuseppe was so lovely and accomodating too.

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Tovimar Apartments in Taormina. The owner's attention to detail and commitment to providing a home away from home experience is truly commendable. The main apartment we rented was equipped with brand new furnishings, creating a sense of comfort. The location, just a short 5-minute walk from the renowned Isola Bella beach, is undeniably convenient.

For those with discerning tastes and preferences, there may be aspects of the apartment that fall short of perfection. While the overall experience was enjoyable, future guests may find certain areas lacking in comparison to their expectations. Despite this, the charm and convenience of Tovimar Apartments make it a suitable choice for those seeking a comfortable and well-located accommodation in Taormina.

Lovely views from this little apartment which is conveniently located near to the cable car to old town Taormina. Beds very comfortable and pleasant terrace to enjoy the views. Layout a little quirky, but added to its charm!

Quite noisy, as on the main road, but made up for by the view. We did discover that the terrace roof is not entirely water tight as we had a lot of rain on one day, but that was unusual for June.

Location & balcony fantastic. Bedrooms were spacious with good air conditioning. A couple of minutes walk to the cable car and beach ( lots of steps to beach)

Bad plumbing, shower flooded the floor every time unless you cleaned the drain grill. Hand wash vanity unit flooded badly, landlord was not interested so had to figure it out - when you opened the bottom drawer the waste pipe caught and pulled out of the wall - don’t use bottom drawer

Great spot above Mazzaro Beach. Short walk down the steps to the beach. Short walk to the funicular and then few minutes later, you’re in the centre! Bus stop ist outside too. Giuseppe was a delightful host.

What a sensational place to stay, the position is perfect. After a swim you can relax on the terrace with an aperitif, and enjoy the wonderful view. Facilities were great. Shops, cafes and restaurants are convenient so easy to grab supplies without using the car. Guiseppe organised a car park nearby which was brilliant as the carpark was full except for our reserved space, thank you Guiseppe. This place has charm and warmth that you can only dream of and made our stay in Taormina the highlight of Sicily. Catch the nearby gondola up to the old town or take the stairs ( about a 25 min walk) and enjoy the views over the Isola Bella. Bellissimo.

The location being close to the beach and the view was amazing from the balcony and living area. The place had everything you needed and the bathroom has been recently renovated which is nice.

there are a lot of stairs (~120)! The lift was meant to be installed at the start of summer. We visited in the first week of August and it wasn't complete. we were travelling for 7 weeks so had heavy luggage to carry up the stairs. Lucky we are young and fit otherwise this would have been a huge challenge! Self check in probably would be preferred however, Giuseppe was very nice!
