We stayed three nights. The staff was most helpful and our rooms were pleasant and comfortable with a large balcony and lounging chairs. The view of the bay, with youngsters jumping off the cliff into the water was a delight. A huge breakfast greeted us consumed on the hotel's broad balcony. The hotel is seaside, while Taormina is located high on a plateau accessed via cable car. We received an excellent recommendation for a restaurant at the hotel. All in all an enjoyable stay.

We had not realized that the small bay would be packed with other hotels, though ours was clearly the best. The gray sand beach and pebbly water of the bay was a disappointment. Not the White Locust. Parking was not free. We felt that the hotel was a bit over priced.

The best location in Taormina. Situated right on Mazzaro bay with its own beautiful private beach with the most comfortable sun lounges and beach service. The rooms have casual elegance and are pretty large with a huge balcony with sun chairs overlooking the bay and the beautiful Ionian Sea. Breakfast is fantastic and you eat it on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous view (which we never tired of). The Funivia (cable car) up to Taormina’s village is right next to the hotel so very convenient. The hotel is not cheap but worth it for the wonderful amenities, service and private beach club. It’s definitely where you want to stay in Summer in Taormina as it is stinking hot and you need to be near the beach! Highly recommend this exceptional hotel. We will most definitely be back!

The room was really fantastic, newly renovated and beautifully appointed with a spectacular view over the bay. The whole team were extremely helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and special. Rossario and the front office team, Valentina and the housekeeping team, and the team in the restaurant and bar were all delightful and very helpful. The position right on the beach is wonderful, and there were always day beds available and beach attendants to assist. The location is exceptional, being right on the beach, moments walk to the village for great local restaurants, and a 2 minute walk to the gondola which heads up to the town of Taormina. We will definitely return.

A memorable 5 night experience in a first class, 5 star hotel, located by the sea with a private beach where food and drink were just a button press away. It’s a hotel for peace and quiet, to totally relax, to be totally spoiled, and for an excellent breakfast and dinner overlooking the sea. Enjoy the smiles and service of the staff, where nothing was too much trouble and whose clear top priority was to make our stay absolutely memorable. Yet with all this peace and tranquillity, the hustle and bustle of the main town, lined with shops and restaurants, is only a 2 minute walk and then a 5 minute cable car away. Don’t miss the boat trip, the opportunity to make and then eat your own pasta and pizza starting with just flour and water, and the Italian opera. We left with great memories and suitcases heavier than when we arrived !

We had the most amazing time at Mazzaro Sea Palace. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we kept saying how much we loved it. First of all, the staff is beyond kind and accommodating. They even dropped us off a cake to congratulate us on getting married. They were so helpful in suggesting places to eat and how to get into town. The hotel is perfect in many ways. Beautiful beach front property and then pretty much across street from the cable car that takes you into town. Couldn’t be more convenient. The hotel was clean and very beautiful. We want to come back ASAP!!! Thank you again!

Being our first visit to Sicily we were amazed at the proficiency and professional kind attention we received from start to finish of our three night stay. The airport pick up arranged by the resort, the drive and the kindest of welcomes on arrival from Katerina made us feel already at home. The suite with the terrace with a grand view of the beach and ocean cannot be described in words but has to be experienced. The room, bathroom and the most comfortable bed you could relax in. Breakfast is a journey of its own. Vast variety of choices and a total experience as if one is on a journey of its own. The Armonia restaurant is an a league of its own. Try the red prawns fished locally and you will be addicted. The prawn Carpaccio took my wife's breath away, Linguine with Vongole is a must and Tiramisu takes you to gastronomical heaven. All washed down with Etna Rosato. Amazing staff, very attentive and professional all the way. Comfortable sunbeds and attentive service at your fingertips. The overall ambience, the kindness and care taken to make our short stay memorable is definitely on our Wishlist to return to

The resort is well positioned and the staff were friendly.

Lack of evening entertainment and bar facilities which would act as a focal point for socialising.

Arriving to a relatively modest entrance our eyes widened as the hotel opened up in front of us. Old school glamour and luxury and a breathtaking view all exceeded expectation. Our room was spacious, with a large terrace overlooking the beautiful bay. It was sunny and private. The breakfast was lovely - lots of fresh local specialities as well as all the international elements you'd expect in a hotel of this standard. The staff - they couldn't have been more charming and helpful. We felt very spoilt.

The staff are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. The bar area for evening cocktails was lovely. Beach is a mix of sand and stone in a very nice small bay. We had a romantic dinner in our room, which was wonderful. The concierge was very helpful and friendly.

Blum restaurant is in a beautiful setting but the food was a little to eclectic for our taste. Some dishes were very nice but several disappointed. Raw pigeon was too much for me. The chef is clearly trying new things but it was too much of an experiment for us.
