So convenient! Excellent location. Lovely boutique style hotel on the top of a cliff. Right next to the bus station, so great to get to and from the airport and to other places around the island. I usually get taxis but at 7 euros it was so much cheaper than over 100 for a cab! Fab views of the coastline and wonderful deep pool. I've been in April and August and not so busy even in high season. Hotel not too busy, always a sun bed and a place in the restaurant and bar area.

Nothing! But would say avoid the beach by the hotel where you go down by cable car. Cable car 10 euros each then sun beds 25 euros each. Nearly 100 euros for a day at the beach for 3 of us before we had started! Better to get the bus organised by the hotel to a better less busy beach for 18 euros return including sun bed and umbrella per person! Lido Tropicana!! Fab lunch time restaurant too!

The swimming pool has Depth of 7’ to 8’ feet throughout its length (no shallow end). There are no hand rails to help you enter or exit the pool. There is one pool ladder with hoops at one end of the pool and a set of stone steps approx 2’ wide with no hand rail to enter / exit the pool. In my view a hand rail should be added to the side of the stone steps and a further pool ladder added. My wife loves a pool but is not a confident swimmer and having two replacement knees a hand rail to enter / exit the pool would have been very helpful.

Location fantastic,staff friendly and very helpful.We had an upgraded room when checking in, with balcony and sea view which was very nice,and made the hotel stay special.Breakfast very good with a good choice of foods and beverages.Pool very clean and a decent size for a good swim.All in all a great weeks stay,and I can recommend this hotel for a memorable trip to Taormina.

Pool perfectly ok for adult swimmers but pool deep with no shallow end,so not really appropriate for younger children.Lots of steps/fairly steep climb from car park to hotel lobby/check-in despite there being small lifts available to help. Rooms a little dated etc but nevertheless comfortable and clean.

The hotel position is amazing, so close to everything - bus station, town center. The view from the hotel is breathtaking indeed. The garden is well maintained and so clean everywhere.

The rooms are a bit dated, and staff should care more about customers and their needs. Nobody is asking you during the stay if there is anything you need, what they can do to make your stay better. Antonella was the only person there who had a smile on her face all the time and was happy to help with anything. Sicillian night was not what we expected. Is just a normal dinner, and after three musicians are waiting for you on the bar. Is not a traditional night, and this is what we expected after we did some in different other countries. Don't expect, for example, to have one like in Greece as you will be really disappointed.

Lovely hotel in a amazing setting, there are a lot of rooms and guests. Restaurant was very good and well priced, good wine list (they do have wine by the glass) and wonderful views. Huge swimming pool and lounge area. Breakfast was good also. Staff were generally very good and helpful, restaurant staff were excellent and Jessica at reception was wonderful and very helpful. Location to the bus station right next to the hotel was fantastic. Buses to nearby locations, Giardini train and to Catania airport very convenient. Walk into Taormina is approx 15 - 20 mins. Other beaches can be accessed but reef shoes are advised.

The hotel is on the side of a mountain so expect to walk up and down fairly steep slopes. There is a non functional bell at the entrance for assistance with bags which either doesn't work or else was ignored - no one responded. It is quite steep to drags bags up to the entrance and then there are a series of lifts to negotiate. All doable but confusing when first arriving. The pool is very deep over 2.4 mtrs (this is the shallowest depth) so not suitable for non swimmers or children. There is no shallow area in the pool. The pool towel system is ferociously managed and expect to be told off should you do anything outside of the their system... Some staff could be very abrupt - not sure if this was a language issue or just not great customer service. It is a very busy hotel.

The property has a lovely old Sicilian charm which really added to our stay. We had a beautiful sea view in a spacious room on the 4th floor. The locations was excellent, right in front of the Etna bus station, which made it a breeze to move our bags to and from the hotel when we arrived. And walking distance to town and all surrounding landmarks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast also was very plentiful and delicious.

Nothing really that we didn’t like but parents to be cautious that the pool is very deep, in my opinion too deep for children without their own flotation. Luckily the pool supplies lots of noodles.

The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The property is in a perfect location if you want to travel, as it’s located next to the bus station. Taxi’s are not cheap, so bus/ coach travel a good option. Also, ideal when travelling to and from airport - coaches stop outside this hotel, so can save a lot of money. Taxi and car hire are expensive options. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice. There are lots of amazing restaurants in Taormina, but having an evening meal at the hotel restaurant is recommended, especially the buffet nights - well worth booking. Eating is outside in the evening, in beautiful surroundings, with great live music (piano player) for entertainment. Again staff were amazing - special mentions to - Christian, Matteo, Ivan and Sandro - they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

There was no shallow end in pool - it’s all very deep, so not good for non swimmers. However, the pool was a great place to chill out and relax.

Breakfast was superb, everything you could want and more. Restaurant was decent too - good food at very good value for Taormina. And the pool was lovely - no shallow end though, so for swimmers only. Nice location, close to the cable car, close to the town tourist areas, close to the park, and very very handy if you arrive by bus! Staff were all lovely - really hospitable for what is a fairly big hotel.

The hotel could do with a bit of a spruce up and redecoration, it's a bit tired, but was perfectly comfy. I regret not paying a bit more for a sea view though, that was a mistake. No complaints though!

When checking in, hopefully you'll find Jessica as she is amazing. She's kind, efficient and super helpful! Buffet breakfast is great too! Offers several breakfast options and excellent seating with sea views! If there, find Antonella and she will greet you with a smile and ask you what you need to make your breakfast a good experience! She is always smiling and has very positive kind attitude! Location is next to the Taormina bus terminal and offers several day Interbus buses to different nearby cities. It is also about 10 minutes walk from the hotel to Taormina center where you'll find piazzas, churches, shops, restaurants, never ending alleys, main city center street had plenty of pizzerias, restaurants, gelato shops and pastry and cafe shops!

The property facilities are "dated". Bathroom is clean but tiles, shower area and vanities are dated fixtures. Bed is super comfortable. Also, for those with mobility concerns, FYI, there is some walking (inclined and stairs) to get to the property elevator and out of the hotel to City center.
