So convenient! Excellent location. Lovely boutique style hotel on the top of a cliff. Right next to the bus station, so great to get to and from the airport and to other places around the island. I usually get taxis but at 7 euros it was so much cheaper than over 100 for a cab! Fab views of the coastline and wonderful deep pool. I've been in April and August and not so busy even in high season. Hotel not too busy, always a sun bed and a place in the restaurant and bar area.

Nothing! But would say avoid the beach by the hotel where you go down by cable car. Cable car 10 euros each then sun beds 25 euros each. Nearly 100 euros for a day at the beach for 3 of us before we had started! Better to get the bus organised by the hotel to a better less busy beach for 18 euros return including sun bed and umbrella per person! Lido Tropicana!! Fab lunch time restaurant too!

Breakfast was excellent. Menu of the day was changed each day and consisted of 4 courses for E35 and was good value.

As I had booked this hotel quite a while ago, I expected to be in the hotel but was allocated a room in Palazzo Santa Caterina. The room was nice but we would have preferred to be in hotel. We were surprised that the swimming pool was so deep with no shallower end. I am not a strong swimmer and didnt really like to be out of my depth however there were swimming noodles I could use. The ladder into the pool needs to be secured as there was quite alot of movement when using which to a non swimmer is alarming. .

Gorgeous hotel, the staff here are SO nice. Especially the ones who are doing the breakfast shift. Breakfast has a great selection. The pool area is stunning as is the hotel itself. We had drinks by the pool by asking the bar staff to put them into plastic cups as glass is not permitted in the pool area. The hotel is central to the main centre which is nice. We had a complimentary upgrade & the views from the room were stunning. We also got free prosecco which was much appreciated. I would have loved longer at this hotel, I would definitely return. Taormina in general is stunning & so is this hotel

Parking is extremely stressful. It’s 20€ a day and 4€ an hour after that. The hotel does not operate the parking & the guy who does made the experience extremely stressful and unnecessarily difficult. You must get the pass first from the hotel which we didn’t do & then we were already at the car park. Perhaps this needs to be addressed with the organisers of the car park as they are extremely rude and unhelpful which (even tho they don’t work for the hotel) makes an unhappy start to anyones stay. Thank god the hotel made up for this.

Hotel was lovely! Rooms were a good size and cleaned daily - the maids would ask if you’d like the room cleaned or not so we had the option to say no if we felt it wasn’t needed. The shower was good, some toiletries also provided. Our room had a shared ‘balcony’, it was more of a terrace, no view, but it was an area to sit outside and dry our pool/beach stuff. The buffet breakfast was great, lots of options of the usual food, staff were constantly filling up the stations and cleaning tables. Lovely area to sit outside in the evening for happy hour before going out for food, we didn’t eat dinner at the hotel so can’t comment on that, but the menu did look good! They also had evening entertainment - nothing cheesy/cringy like you sometimes get, just someone playing the piano and singing - this was nice! There was other entertainment on other evenings e.g a Sicilian night, but we were not at the hotel for this. Pool area was lovely, not a huge space but there are just about enough sun loungers, around it or on the terraces above. They provide towels for the pool which was nice. Hotel is in a good location, right by the central bus station which is really handy and less than 10minute walk into Taormina town with all the restaurants and shops, and 5 mins from the cable car which takes you down to the beach. There are steps, which we did take on a couple of occasions, but be warned it’s a long way and hard work!

The swimming pool has Depth of 7’ to 8’ feet throughout its length (no shallow end). There are no hand rails to help you enter or exit the pool. There is one pool ladder with hoops at one end of the pool and a set of stone steps approx 2’ wide with no hand rail to enter / exit the pool. In my view a hand rail should be added to the side of the stone steps and a further pool ladder added. My wife loves a pool but is not a confident swimmer and having two replacement knees a hand rail to enter / exit the pool would have been very helpful.

Lovely friendly staff. Location was great out of the way but also easy to walk into for food and drinks. Great options for breakfast and freshly squeezed orange juice

The evening unless you were staying at eating there i thought was very poor service for getting drinks we would come back after a walk out for food and no-one came over to table for your drinks order if u went to the bar the staff were just busy making drinks orders up for diners so twice we gave up and never stopped for a drink after waiting over 20-30mins. We ordered a taxi via the reception desk to take us to the train station on our departure day to the train station a 5 minute journey we were charged €25 which is ridiculous for the journey and felt we had been completely ripped off. I complained to the hotel but not a single response

Location fantastic,staff friendly and very helpful.We had an upgraded room when checking in, with balcony and sea view which was very nice,and made the hotel stay special.Breakfast very good with a good choice of foods and beverages.Pool very clean and a decent size for a good swim.All in all a great weeks stay,and I can recommend this hotel for a memorable trip to Taormina.

Pool perfectly ok for adult swimmers but pool deep with no shallow end,so not really appropriate for younger children.Lots of steps/fairly steep climb from car park to hotel lobby/check-in despite there being small lifts available to help. Rooms a little dated etc but nevertheless comfortable and clean.

Location was next door to bus station and a 5 minute walk to cable car, shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were friendly, approachable and only too happy to help with making your stay an enjoyable experience. They gave us a late check out, information, advice and guidance to help us. Rooms were comfortable, clean, equipped with toiletries for showering; the body wash and soap smelt very nice. Fridge in room, with tea and coffee making facilities. The views were amazing! The grounds and pool are kept well. Pool staff very friendly and helpful. Free snacks at happy hour, which we enjoyed with our cocktails. The bar staff were friendly with a sense of humour. Spoilt for choice at breakfast, good selection , all fresh produce. Fruit here tastes like fruit, and I particularly liked the lemon granita! I wish we would have stayed for lunch and evening meal, but that’s next time!

There was nothing to dislike!

The hotel position is amazing, so close to everything - bus station, town center. The view from the hotel is breathtaking indeed. The garden is well maintained and so clean everywhere.

The rooms are a bit dated, and staff should care more about customers and their needs. Nobody is asking you during the stay if there is anything you need, what they can do to make your stay better. Antonella was the only person there who had a smile on her face all the time and was happy to help with anything. Sicillian night was not what we expected. Is just a normal dinner, and after three musicians are waiting for you on the bar. Is not a traditional night, and this is what we expected after we did some in different other countries. Don't expect, for example, to have one like in Greece as you will be really disappointed.
