I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Elios Tao, and I must say it was a truly relaxing experience. Located in a beautiful area, the hotel provides a perfect mix of modern comfort and traditional charm. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any requests, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the peaceful atmosphere — it’s an ideal spot if you want to unwind and enjoy a quiet getaway. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, and the outdoor areas offered a nice place to relax in the sun. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hotel Elios Tao to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay. I paid around 90 euros per night for a superior single room with a sea view. - The room and the bathroom was very clean. Air conditioning is good. - The sea view was absolutely gorgeous - The zone is very quite at night (no noisy bars/restaurants around) - The location is close to everything: Villa Communale, Bus Terminal, the center of Taormina, the cable car… or you can also walk down to the beach. It is a gorgeous walk. - The reception manager was polite, friendly and professional. For Taormina, it is overall a good value for money.

For longer stays, the room might feel too small, a bit claustrophobic. I only stayed for 1 night. On a less important side, a bottle of water in the room would be nice.

Location was great. Close to all amenities and places worth to explore and visit in Taormina and around. Probably the best view from the roof terrace I've ever seen in Taormina in any hotel.

Lack of parking and you have to pay for the parking extra fees. Parking was recommended by the hotel. We appreciate that it's not far away from the hotel and not very expensive (15 euro per day), but you need to consider that as an extra costs. But from the other side in Taormina I don't think that there is a chipper or free parking at all.

We arrived late at night, extremely stressed after an awful journey and were immediately put at ease by the lovely lady who greeted us, found us a parking place and advised where we could still get food at 11pm. The location is perfect - just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Taormina and with a lovely view from the terrace. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The best bit was all the staff who were all super friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely large room with an amazing outside terrace. Unbeatable view of the ocean and Mount Etna. It was overlooked by two balconies above but luckily no one was using them whilst we stayed there. Bed was comfortable and you could see the sea whilst lying there. Bathroom was nice, shower good pressure but it didn't drain well so did overflow into the bathroom. Breakfast was substantial and there was some savoury items. Location was perfect for us. Short walk into the Centre and very close to the stop to take you to the train station and/ Catania. Bus station walkable distance too.

The views of the sea and Mt Etna were fantastic. The room was very spacious including the bathroom. The service was very good; the staff were very helpful and responsive. Breakfast was basic but well stocked and maintained (the croissants were great). It was in a great location as it was close to everything but not too close! The air conditioner was effective, which was important given the weather.

These are small things: the pillows were either too soft or overly hard, however this does seem to be a common issue in hotels; and on occasions, the scrambled eggs for breakfast were a little cold (maybe they could be kept in a bain-marie).

The staff were very helpful. Our initial room bed was very uncomfortable but the staff were very accommodating in helping us move for our remaining nights. The location was excellent for everything. The rooftop observation was stunning. The breakfast was ok.

The bed in our initial room was uncomfortable. Also we had booked for a balcony with a view and technically the first room had that but it was hidden around a corner and only large enough for a single chair on it. The second room we had had a much better balcony.

I had 3 night in the beginning of March, 3 Sunny days. 2 days with afternoon Carneval. ..such a bonus. View in the morning from big private teresse: to the left a beautiful sunrise and to the right white smoke from snow-covered mt Etna. The comunal garden 2 minuts walk with such a beautiful view. A very pleasent stay. Came with a taxi from the train station. 20€. So much worth in low season. And afordable.

Hard to find when you drive a car and nearly impossible to park nearby. we travelled light so it was ok but you have heavy luggage it might be an issue

The hotel is located near Giardino Pubblico and not far away from the center. It offers all you need to recharge your batteries without the bells and whistles. Has a nice terrace with sea view. The people are nice and ready to help. I had a breakdown of the toilet that has been solved quickly during Sunday morning.

Nothing special bad. During spring the rooms are chilly and not easy to warm with the noisy AC. It would be nice to warm up the water radiators that are already present in the room.
