The view from Room #2 balcony was outstanding - couldn't be better! The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast they provide adds a lovely family touch to your stay. The location is excellent as it's a short walk to the bus terminal, the town centre, the local municipal gardens, the Gondola to Isola Bella (beach), and the long winding steps down to the beach. It's a great walk.

You have to remember the rooms (on the 1st floor up some very narrow stairs) are in an old building that has had some remodeling to turn them into quaint rooms with ensuites. The rooms are close together off a narrow hallway so you will hear people coming and going. In addition to this there seems to be minimal sound insulation between rooms, particularly around toileting and showering. It was very loud and disappointing during the evening. I had missed these same comments in previous guest reviews 😞 But, this can be forgiven once you wake up to the stunning sea views and start your day exploring beautiful Taormina😊

The hosts, Patrizia and Massimo are really, really sweet and helpful all the way. The room was cleaned with fresh towels every day. The BB is in close walking distance to the city center. The breakfast is okay, but you can find way nicer in the city. The room has a spacious bathroom.

We booked the room w. partial seaview and it is very small and the bed is not very comfortable. I recommend booking one of the rooms with full seaview as they are way nicer and with a bigger balcony to enjoy the view. Besides from that, please note that the walls are very thin and you can hear everything that goes on in the building - bring earplugs.

Location was great, right near the beautiful park (one of the best features of Taormina), and on the edge of the town centre, rather than right in it. Wonderful sea views, but best to book one of the 3 rooms facing the sea. As we usually do when booking, we chose Chiaro di Luna mainly because of the very favourable reviews of the hosts. And, indeed, Patrizia, Massimo and their daughter, Alice, were completely charming, welcoming and kind. A further pleasant surprise was the superb breakfasts. We had a great stay here and are glad we chose Chiaro over one of the big hotels.

Nothing much to say here. Just one small thing we did notice was that the wall between our room (no 2) and the next door room's bathroom was not very soundproof. But this was certainly not a problem for us at all and the next room was occupied only one of our three nights there. We slept very well each night.

This accommodation was great. The breakfast was also fine — all freshly prepared by the owner, which made it feel very homey and thoughtful. The owner was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the city center, yet it’s peaceful and quiet, offering a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. It’s also very close to historical landmarks, making it an ideal spot for sightseeing. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend it!

The staff gave us a warm welcome and were very friendly and lovely throughout our stay. The location is great — close to the city center, bus terminal, and cable car. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, although it could have included more variety and better restocking.

The shower had very low pressure sometimes, and it was difficult to maintain a stable water temperature — it would often get either too hot or too cold. Also, the minibar didn’t seem to be working properly, as it wasn’t cooling the items inside.

Probably one of the best locations you could have in Taormina if you wanna be close to the city center. Me and my girlfriend had the room with view of the ocean and I have never had a better view in any other hotel room. Massimo was very kind and the room service was good!

The only thing I can think of is the shower. The temperature was not consistent and it could get really hot sometimes. TV signal was unfortunately not good but we weren’t in Taormina to watch tv so not a big deal at all.

Very nice and friendly hosts! The apartments are insanely clean, cleaning takes place daily. The location is also pleasing – 25 minutes to the beach and literally 10 minutes to the city center. To the beach You go down the huge steps with the most beautiful sea views, but get ready to test your fitness! :) My friends and I didn't have the strength to walk back up the stairs in the heat. In that case You can take a funicular ride and get to the apartment in about 10 minutes. We also liked the breakfasts. You will definitely find something to your liking - either sweet breakfasts or something salty (cold cuts, cheese, toast with butter, eggs).

Chiaro di Luna occupies the second floor of a building in Taormina. The first and third floor belong to other owners. The entrance is through a steep and not very clean stair and the soundproofing of the room does not exists. The room is very clean with an excellent view in a short pleasant walk from the center of Taormina. The lady of the house is very polite and she helped us with the parking a lot. Overall a nice stay with an excellent view!

The location of the accommodation is very well situated in Taormina, just a few minutes from the park, 7-8 minutes from the center, 5 minutes from the Interbus terminal (if you want to come by bus from other cities), and 2 minutes from the stairs leading down to Isola Bella, all within walking distance. The room we stayed in was very small and cramped, but very clean and the hosts were friendly and generally helped us with whatever we needed. The view from the room is spectacular - you can just lie in bed and look at the sea. I would definitely return!

I would have liked to see a picture of the real breakfast, which is actually served on the ground floor. The pictures on Booking give the impression that breakfast can be taken right in the room, on your own balcony, making you believe it is on the same floor, but it is not. Other pictures of the breakfast were not posted. For breakfast, I would have liked more variety, such as a platter to choose from with cheese, mortadella, and tomatoes. I think if these aspects were improved, it would be a complete experience ❤️.

What can we say - we spent the first night of our honeymoon in Sicily in Patrizia’s B&B in Taormina and absolutely loved it. From the first moment Patrizia was happy to accommodate our arrival time and left a thoughtful gift for celebrations in our room. The location was excellent in close walking proximity to the centre of town and the bus station. Gorgeous view from the balcony where we were able to take breakfast in the room. The breakfast offer (8am-10am) had a nice selection with fantastic coffee. Well worth the additional cost for the sea views and balcony, highly recommend.

No complaints whatsoever - although some additional signage might help for the breakfast area.
