Excellent location, walking distance to Taormina centre, stunning views on the sea from the balcony of our room, from the breakfast area, friendly staff, clean sheets, powerful showerhead with hot water adjustable, quiet and peaceful, nice breakfast, lovely building, car parking, spacious room, wonderful pool area.

Rooms walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours. Some sprucing up is needed for the hotel, however it did not spoil at all our excellent experience. Towels were charged every time we used the pool.

Hotel is amazing large and authentic from the 19th century.. its nice sometimes to experience something different.. hotel is magical every corner is picturesque .. the stairs to the pool is not that hard like everyone is writing its actually beautiful with so many trees and views to take pictures n not that hard maybe for someone very old over 60+ People r nice n serving u from the heart pool is amazing large and clean full of sun to tan u hv cafe to serve u lunch or drinks i loved it hotel is walking distance from town and main area full of actions

Bathrooms .. noise of AC but anyway the hotel will hv full renovation by next year .. water during our stay was charged which is strange should be at least a bottle per day complimentary

There were very mixed reviews for this hotel and I was a bit worried what I was going to get but can’t fault my stay here. Room was large and had an amazing terrace and view, staff were lovely and included breakfast was good. Pool area was great(lots of stairs to get there though) and the location was perfect. Just across from the bus terminal and a short walk into the main town. The hotel is old so don’t expect the best facilities there are it’s clean, in a great location and the views from the sea room are great! Would stay again for sure.

It’s a older style hotel, there’s a few leaks in the bathroom and the shower is a bit odd but nothing to worry about

The most stunning views a short walk away from the heart of Taormina with all the amazing restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel was beautiful, lovely swimming pool and breakfast was great! Parking on site €20 for 24 hours. The hotel is situated on the same road as the cable car which for €10 return will take you down to the beaches and Isola Bella. Would definitely recommend.

Only downfall was double bed was 2x single beds which were not fully attached which made a gap whilst sleeping, otherwise this hotel was faultless.

Excellent location - near funicular and old town. Room had air conditioning and we had a huge balcony/ terrace overlooking the sea. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was included and was ok - staff a little slow to fill up juices and coffee. Enough choice hot food and continental. Lovely pool with sun beds and bar/ food

Lovely pool but 180 steps down then up again! Purely due to location - whole town is built on a cliff.

The property was located very very centrally and right opposite the bus terminus. The walk to Taormina was short, slightly uphill, but very manageable. Swimming pool was amazing, after you navigated the 186 steps down to it from our room. Reception service was responsive and helpful, cleaning regular and thorough. Even after our check out the team at the front desk took care of our bags following a bus arrival crisis 🤪

Amazing location with spectacular views. Enjoyed the swimming pool. We got a room without a view but the ones that did looked worth opting for.

Parts of the hotel would benefit from renovation. It looked like some of this work was taking place. Our room was a decent size but had a very basic shower. Also there was one standard plug socket. Parking was charged at €20 a night.

The hotel location is superb. The building hangs over a cliff and has the most spectacular gardens, pool is large and pool surroundings are spectacular. Pool restaurant offers good and decently priced food. This makes up for the inside of the hotel that could use a renovation

The inside is a bit tired and the decoration is inconsistent and dated. My single room was quite small but had view of the gardens and sea.

Wonderful setting and nice facilities. The hotel dinning room was grand with spectacular views.

A little too further away from the township than expected, but walkable. The pool was being refurbished and that was disappointing and don't know that we were advised of this prior to booking :( The desk staff were not particularly welcoming, although they warmed-up with each day.

Perfect view, lovely helpful staff , good breakfast, beautiful hotel in the best location. We loved that it had a slight “faded glory days feel.” The concierge advised us about transport and was really helpful.

Lacked a little atmosphere - bar was closed when we could have done with a pre dinner afternoon drink. The contents of mini bar was inadequate ( one beer?, a few spirits, a few soft drinks) .
