Location perfect for walking to the Beach, shopping, food, Kai Coffee, lots of choices for food & happy hours!! Loved Sam's Kichen, Bar, Pool, Hot tub & all the facilities available to us in the Hotel. Staff were very friendly, welcoming & helpfull. We would love to stay at Castle Bamboo Waikiki again, enjoyed every minute of our stay!! Loved it!! Our room on the 11th Floor was very comfortable, good size room, bathroom, adequate hanging space for clothes, kitchen area for meals, comfy bed & bedding, bright & breezy room with 2 sliding doors/windows to allow that tropical Aloha breeze to fill the room!! The room was spacious and had everything we needed, even a can opener. We had a small kitchen, which saved us money, not having to eat out every day. The staff were really welcoming and you could get towels,beach chairs etc at no extra cost. It was close to the beach,shops and other tourist destinations. Tours picked you up from the hotel, which was a bonus. The pool area is amazing, so private, and with all the trees and palms, softens the noise from being so close to everything.

Sadly it was noisy due to construction going on Mon-Fri. The pillows could be upgraded they were a bit flat.

Great location, pool was good, facilities were clean. Staff were ok to deal with, polite enough but didn’t do anything extra to make the stay better.

The bedding wasn’t the best - not a proper duvet, just a thin blanket between two sheets and the fitted sheet kept coming up regardless of how many times you tucked it under the mattress. Stayed for 6 nights and didn’t get the room made up, not a huge issue as we didn’t mind having the same bedding but would’ve been nice to at least have the bins emptied.

Excellent location, staff friendly and helpful, walk to everywhere in Waikiki or bus at doorstep to go further.

Parking entry/exit ramp to basement garage is very steep and it is impossible to see the pedestrians crossing at the street level until your car is at that level, resulting in a hazardous situation for pedestrians. The hotel has posted a sign notifying the driver to sound horn to alert pedestrians to a car exiting the garage, however, it faces the driver entering the garage and should be facing the driver exiting the garage.

- Staff were very communicative and helpful. We had some issues with Booking.com and the hotel’s system, which made our reservation not show up for a few hours. Yet they still let us access the downstairs amenities so we had a place to put our stuff and generally chill out. Very awesome people! - Pool area was super nice and gorgeous at night. The restaurant has the best fries for 6$ you’ll ever get that are exactly their value, if not more. - In Waikiki and very close to the beach, just a 3 minute walk! - On-theme decor within the lobby and rooms is very cute.

- Beds felt a little cheap. - Some of the bamboo-esque sink faucets will spray at you if you’re not careful. - Jacuzzi can burn if you’re not careful.

Location was excellent. Liked the bus to Ala Moana shopping Center was across the street. Many good restaurants close by. A/C worked well. Sufficient supplies in unit. Very nice, friendly staff. Comfy loungers by the pool.

The bed was too soft for me. Hot tub never worked. Loud construction noise close by. Way too costly in/out cleaning fee. My lanai looked into units across the way. Not very nice lanais but one could go sit by pool area and take your own drink and food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Situated in the heart of Waikiki, just two blocks from the beach and one block from Kalakaua Street renowned for its dining and shopping, its location couldn't be better. The premises are immaculate, and the service is exceptional. Highly recommended for those looking to explore the island! In summary, it offers excellent value for your money. Highly recommended.

The only suggestion I have is to increase the frequency of room cleaning services. However, when I requested it, they promptly took care of the room. Thanks!

It was very well located near the beach, with everything nearby and it was value for money. It was very useful to have a kitchenette in the room so we could make tea and coffee, self cater for breakfast and the occasional evening meal. Laundry facilities were available, as well as beach chairs and body boards for the beach. Staff were helpful.

The hotel is a bit tired and dated, but we still considered it met all our requirements.

Great price, good sized room. Bed was comfortable. Loved the fact you only pay for room cleaning if you want it. We stayed for 2 weeks so you get free room service and sheets changed after 7 days. Was perfect as we keep it tidy ourselves. We got any towels, toiletries, coffee etc from reception if you need.

Nothing, the property is a little dated but we loved it.
