This is my first time stay in Holiday Inn west LA. Very surpeised. Very Satisfied. Looks like it’s a new hotel. Very very clean and new style. especially the bathroom. Good breakfast and it’s free. Good place and I can go anywhere conveniently. Although it beside freeway but I feel ok and have a good sleep. If you hard to have deep sleep, you can choose the room towards otherside. Every people I met are very very nice in this hotel. They also provide water and toothpaste toothbrush. Very good. Cheap price in Santa Monica Blvd, but good value. I will Choose this hotel next time I come to LA. Much appreciated. Forget to take photos but their official photos on Website is real.

The breakfast was hot and ready, the bds were comfortable. There rooms were clean and odor free. The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating to my needs.

There was no wifi, therefore, there was no signal for the television to work and no way for me to connect my cell phone or laptop. The hotel is located next to the 405 freeway, so you could hear the roar of the traffic, other than that everything else was great.

Easy access to freeway and basement parking very convenient. Safe neighborhood with local eateries close by or short drive away. Room was comfortable and sufficient wardrobe drawers for clothes. Great to have water machine downstairs. In room microwave very convenient. Plenty parking with three levels and no problem parking a SUV we rented. Small spaces clearly marked as “compact”. Breakfast is a bonus but pancake machine never worked during our stay. Front manager Marigold is a star. So helpful with advice on local area and especially fixing up our reservation which required a third party - so appreciated after a long flight and extreme jet lag from Tokyo. Thankyou!

Not a hotel specific thing but didn’t like that there was no kettle in room but there is hot water downstairs. Seems all hotels in US are like this. One lift only and always slow but this is a minor thing.

The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly particularly Mya who looked after us at the front desk. The breakfast was an added bonus and had a nice selection. I enjoyed the turkey bacon and eggs, fresh fruit, juices, tea, chocolate muffins and bagels with cream cheese and jam. We chose the location to be close to Santa Monica beach and the surrounding area felt safe. Also being close to the freeway made it quick to get around via Uber. Also loved being on the second floor which opened onto the break out area where the Breakfast buffet is served.

The air conditioner is loud when warming up, but didn't mind the noise as it did a good job keeping our room cool. Very minor - there was a coffee machine in our room which we enjoyed but was a bit tricky if you wanted hot water. We tended to go out to the main break out area on the same floor to get hot water from the urn.

The level of cleanliness at this hotel far exceeded my expectations. When I stepped into my room upon arrival, I was greeted by such an amazing, fresh scent. The staff were beyond kind and professional and always had a smile on their face. Absolutely LOVED the walk-in shower (absolute best water pressure) and the whole entire bathroom was beyond gorgeous! Super comfy bed and pillows as well.

There was a bit of noise outside of my room in the morning during breakfast time and it was hard to sleep while people talked and shuffled around. Other than that, all was great!

I really liked how nice the staff was when we first checked it and out. The price for the hotel was actually really reasonable. Our room was were clean. Our parking and breakfast was included with our rooms. I also liked how there was a quiet time from 9:00pm- 7:00am.

- What I didn’t like was how the hotel was right next to the entrance of the freeway so it was really hard to get in and out of the hotel because there’s always traffic. - unfortunately the hotel’s elevator was out of service - The ceiling was a bit thin so we were able to hear a lot of stomping - I hoped that the breakfast would be a little different everyday.

Hotel staff were truly lovely. Desk clerks and room and breakfast personnel, without exception, were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in the midst of a tourist area but its location on Santa Monica Blvd and alongside the 405 is very convenient in reaching those areas by car. Parking and breakfast were included in our rate and the breakfast provided, though basic, included all the major food groups and was more than adequate. Frankly, we booked on "price" and were not seeking a pool, lounge, restaurant or other luxury amenities typical of more expensive accommodations. The cost of our 5 night stay was $1341.00

Only one elevator for the property.

I liked the location, it was very easy to drive from the hotel to all our destinations. Breakfast was great for the price. It was super convenient to have a microwave and a mini bar in the room. Everything was clean and staff was super friendly.

I would like a better shower, with more water pressure. But the water was warm and the shower worked properly.

The room was large and well equipped. Breakfast was good. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and nice and helpful

I asked to stay some more days and they said the hotel was sold out then at the very last moment one receptionist said there was a room available, another said it was sold out. In the uncertainty Eventually I moved to another hotel.

Location was close to a lot of things to do. Included parking and breakfast made this a great value. Beds were comfortable.

Showers were soso. Bathroom door proximity to exit door was inconvenient since it closes automatically or gets in the way of exiting. TV had a lot of channels but no guide so it's hard to know what's on. Air conditioning was a bit hard to control feeling either too warm or too cold.
