Loved my "Life is Beautiful" room, a room I have stayed in before. There's a wee kitchen, a nice shower, plenty of teeny shampoos and conditioners, and even good coffee for the coffee maker. Bed comfy, linens clean and smooth. Parking right in front of my door. And the restaurant is, in a word, FABULOUS. For me, the Culver City location is perfect, as it's close to the movie studios where I once worked, and just a little way from where my kids live.

The bar was closed due to a lack of alcohol permit. Don't know if it will be open next time, but I coulda used a mimosa. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints.

What a sweet little place. It's old but very clean and the bright colors on the exterior, and outdoor seating outside our door were charming. We came back to our room at night and the small tables outside each room had LED lanterns. It doesn't feel or sound like you're on a busy LA/Culver City street when you're within the motel property. Sweet staff too. Thoughtful touches like water in the frig, apples and little candies. Have to come back to try the cafe

It took awhile for hot water but hey, old plumbing can be that way.

Absolutely everything! We had no idea we were booking an experience. The motel was beautifully decorated with such care. Landscaping was gorgeous. Relaxing music could be softly heard in the parkinglot. The service was excellent. The room was clean and conveniently had a kitchenette with the works(coffee, soda, fruit and candy). Parking was easy. The cafe attached to the motel was absolutely delicious.

We should have gotten two rooms since we are each used to sleeping on a queen bed on our own. No option for two beds in one room.

Restaurant: Food and staff were very good. Housekeeping staff were always pleasant & smiling, and able to help. There are quiet hours, but during daytime, the Brazilian music outside adds to a great atmosphere. Nice vegetation and trees (including a pomegranate!) which is not the usual at a "motor hotel." The outside color scheme is varied, dazzling and fun.

The floors in the room seem dirty. Housekeeping should wash the floors since they are tile.

Villa Brasil Motel is my go to motel in the Marina Del Rey area. I love the outdoor seating with the nice cafe tables and chairs. The rooms seem very well insulated making them very quiet. Of course the charming decor & the attached restaurant is really convenient and delicious. The restaurant alone is a great place to take a date and hey, the motel is right there if your date goes really well! :)

I didn’t like that I eventually had to leave!

We were awed by the property. Sadly, we were in Los Angeles for my mother’s funeral. However, Villa Brasil offered us a moment of escape and beauty. The atmosphere was calming, the setting delightful and colorful. Even the vegetation was beautiful. We loved the simplicity of the room as well. The whole experience was inviting and friendly. Thank you to everyone who made it so. We are definitely coming back and recommending Villa Brasil to everyone traveling to Los Angeles.

This place is absolutely perfect. I was a solo traveler, in town for a concert, and this place was excellent on all levels. The aesthetic is gorgeous. Plants, music, tables, excellent design that makes you want to read a book and have a coffee or beer outside your room the whole time. The rooms were also cute. Clean, comfortable, directtv, air conditioning, heat, etc. There's parking. The area felt safe. Great location. Great value.

Nothing. The rooms aren't too big but they're not small either. I'm in a chain hotel as we speak and the room at villa brasil was the same

I loved that this is a family-run motel with adjoining restaurant. They obviously take pride in making this a welcoming haven for travelers. Office staff is very friendly as are the restaurant employees. The room was well-equipped. I had a delicious dinner at the restaurant as well! I highly recommend this motel. That it had a little touch of Brasil was even more special.

I would love to see more of the lovely floral mural painting on the walls of the room! That would carry the special touch that exists downstairs to the room

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's perfect if you're stopping by LA and have a car! We loved the vibrancy and atmosphere of the motel. This is the first motel i've stayed at where people sit in the outside seating areas! They have music playing during the day, and in the evening they light candles. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The kitchenette included some snacks and drinks. I'd happily return.

The bed was a little too firm for our liking.

The room was well appointed and very clean. Cute little dining table all set for enjoying. The bed was very comfortable and the pretty bed spread was a very special touch. It made the room feel very cozy. Cafe Brasil is right next door and at my request they put on the baseball game for me.

The only thing that I didn't care for was the proximity of the room to the laundry room and housekeeping. It was not loud or disruptive by any means. It just felt "busy". Which actually is just saying that everything was being well taken care of - which is a good thing.
